Gyro with 5 Pcs Wings & Drink

Tried the gyro and wings--mixed results. * Gyro: The meat was solid, but the pita was hard as a brick. Made it tough to enjoy. * Wings: Disappointing. Barely any meat--mostly fried gristle. * Ranch: Tasted generic and didn't help the wings. Wouldn't go back for these items.

I ordered for pick up. Staff was friendly. When I got there order was waiting for me. Got the combo Philly steak sandwich with wings and a drink. The Philly beef sandwich was good. It came with sautéed mushroom and onions with melted cheese. Buffalo wings mild came with ranch dressing and a few celery sticks. Wings were good too. We will be back.

My son loves this place and could literally eat the lemon pepper wings everyday. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've tried thus far.

Like wings? Like fried rice? Well, now you can have both. I've gone to the Wing Dash in Farmers Branch many times (before the pandemic) and I was overjoyed to see that they opened a location close to home. The wings are the right size for me, and cooked just right. The buffalo hot wings are saucy and vinegary, and the lemon pepper wings have just a hint of sweetness to them. The fried rice is cooked with sesame oil and gives it a unique flavor. My friends and co-workers like their philly cheesesteak, but I wouldn't know because I haven't gotten past how delicious their wings and fried rice is.

My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch slash early dinner and overall the experience just left us asking, do we not get it? The vibe is cool and the space itself is nice. We didn't do the golf bays, but they look like the main draw and I can see how that would be fun with the right group. From an atmosphere standpoint, no real complaints. Food is where things fell apart a bit. We both ordered the Local Burger and it was mid at best. The bun completely fell apart and the fries were soggy, which is always disappointing when you're paying for something that's clearly trying to present itself as elevated bar food. It is weird that the menu is so limited. Usually fine with that cause it makes the food that is there much better, but that didn't happen this time. Service didn't help much either. The servers were all in their early 20s and spent a good amount of time texting and loudly talking at the end of the bar. I honestly don't care about that as long as service is still attentive, but that part was missed. Drinks sat empty longer than they should have and it just felt disengaged. Overall, it feels like a place that's trying to be fancier than it actually is. The food doesn't justify the hype and I'm guessing the golf bays are what really make this place worth it. I might come back if a friend wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my pick.

Trying to move my wife off her Rainman-like creature of habit mentality brings a degree of risk. Thankfully, she didn't feel like fighting me. And she will be the first to admit that she was glad I "forced" her into something new. The deviled eggs were well liked. The entrees for our group included the herb roasted chicken, burger, nachos, and prime rib. For the record, any time I see prime rib on a menu I order it just to see if I'll ever return to that restaurant. Needless to say, it was prepared exactly to specification, with a perfect balance of tenderness coupled with the au jus sauce. My wife, having sampled every plate on the table, couldn't stop raving about the overall quality of every entree. Needless to say, I now have a new "safe" restaurant to add to our repertoire. I hate to add it as a side note, but the service was spot-on and our waitress was a perfect blend of attentive without being disruptive. If I lived in Frisco, WB's would be our local go-to spot. Instead, we'll break out of the bubble and visit often.

Overall, the entree portions for the two items that we had were a bit small. I had the pork tenderloin. It was under seasoned and dry. Glad there was pleanty of mustard sauce on the plate. Wilted spinach was overcooked as well. My wife and daughter wanted to split the burger. This is something they have done often in other restaurants. At least they feel like they had a generous helping of fries. They each received half a piece of wilted lettuce and a quater of a red onion. It is hard to believe that this burger was voted "Best in Frisco 2024." The embiance was nice. We had great ecpectations when we were seated and ordered. We cannot complain about our service. It was memorable.

Urban Cookhouse - Prosper, TX…read more We stopped into Urban Cookhouse on a Monday evening, and to our surprise, we were the only ones dining in. Even with the quiet atmosphere, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We've had takeout from here before and remembered how fresh everything was, so we were really looking forward to eating in this time. There's plenty of seating inside, and the space feels open and comfortable. They also have tons of patio seating, which would be perfect on a nice evening. The interior has a rustic-industrial vibe, with a warm accent wall and touches like the decorative bureau that make the space feel thoughtfully designed. For dinner, we ordered the lime-marinated steak with rice and the citrus-grilled salmon. We subbed the sides for the broccoli salad and roasted vegetables, and everything came out quickly and piping hot. The flavors were fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Overall, Urban Cookhouse was a great experience--friendly staff, fast service, and tasty, well-prepared food. We'll definitely be back.

I'm not going to adjust my stars for this, but there are some workers that are NOT attentive, have a bad attitude and/or were texting on their phones. The kaboom shrimp appetizer is to die for! Definitely my favorite appetizer. I also have had the southwest salad, I believe that's what I tried twice now. It was delicious as well.

The food was alright, i will skip the entrees next time and just stick with their apps. All the appetizers we had were incredible. The fried zucchini was crispy and flavorful with an amazing smokey sauce that came with it. The boom boom shrimp were cooked perfectly, crispy, and flavorful. However, the wings with dry rubs were bland and very dry, overcooked. The sauced wings had much better flavor but got soggy and were also way overcooked and dry. The burgers were under seasoned as well and the chips and salsa tasted like jarred salsa with cardboard chips. They have a huge variety of seasoned fries, we had the cajun and they were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and delicious. Service was ok, they messed up several drinks orders bringing us drinks we didn't order multiple times that we kept having to send back or talk through with our server. They resolved all the issues we had but it just never seemed very smooth and kept re-occurring which was frustrating and made me question my check but since i never had the chance to look it over since the device they handed me only showed the total. I asked for a printed receipt but never received one. The owner did come by and talk to us and she was very friendly and accommodating. I wish they served more local craft beers but mostly only served generic commercially available beer. Even after ordering a different beer, they kept bringing me the same one. I would only recommend them for their apps.
