    Texas Burger
    Rahim L.

Looked good from the menu but the burgers and fries had a different story, unfortunately. Texas Toast Burger - 3/5 overcooked egg, not crispy toast, overcooked patty :/ beef bacon was good Bacon BBQ Burger - 2/5 - bun was weird, overcooked burger, weird feeling afterward Fries - 2/5 - Cajun fries had nothing Cajun about it and were stale Service - 4/5 Ambience - 4/5 Place has potential once the food improves.

Drive by this place a lot and after surviving off of chicken based meals for the last eeek I decided to get a nice beef burger that wasn't fast food. Came in right before the lunch rushed and it was empty except for one other person so I quickly ordered the house burger with cajun fries. Took a minute for it to come out but not too long, the fries and burger were fresh and hot. Was surprised that the special sauce on the burger was bright green, kinda threw me off for a second but the flavor was great and I guess that's were they get lime from the name of the restaurant. The fries were nothing special but the were nice and hot which is always a good thing. If there was one thing I didn't care for it would be the prices of the burger not coming with the meal combo and only the burger itself but this is becoming increasingly common so I can overlook it. Next time I'll probably just stick to the sandwich, but overall I enjoyed my visit.

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

The food looked great when it came out -- generous portions and nice presentation -- but the flavor didn't quite live up to the visuals. The burger patties were cooked through but a little dry, and the seasoning was pretty mild. The mushroom and onion topping added some flavor, but the bun felt a bit soggy halfway through. The cheeseburger was fine, but nothing that really stood out. The chili dog had plenty of chili and cheese on top, but the chili itself was a bit bland and heavy. The fries were thick and crunchy at first, but cooled off quickly and lost their crisp. They tasted more like frozen fries than fresh-cut. Service was polite and friendly, though the wait for food felt a little long considering it wasn't busy when we came in. The place has a laid-back, old-school diner vibe, which is nice in theory, but the inside could use a little refresh. It's not bad if you're nearby and craving a burger, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Grand Opening Alert - Lancaster, Texas! I recently visited…read moreBurgerlicious and I have to say... what a cute concept with some seriously good food! The vibe is fun, the menu is straightforward, and the promise of "burger heaven" is not exaggerated. I ordered the OG Burger (classic with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and cheese; swapped mayo for mustard & ketchup) and paired it with Spicy Ranch Fries. Both were hot, fresh, and delicious & definitely hit the spot. They also have a fun lemonade bar, so I tried their Twin Lemonade (mango/peach). It had potential...refreshing flavors but was a little over-sweet and lukewarm. I suspect it was sitting at the counter while they scrambled to bring more buns..but I think with more ice it would be a solid refresher. Now, the hiccup: my wait jumped from 15 minutes to an hour because they ran out of hamburger buns and had to temporarily stop taking orders. On a Tuesday at 3 PM! High demand is a great problem to have, but inventory planning is key, especially right after a grand opening. Despite that, the staff remained friendly, and my food made the wait worth it. I hate that my first experience wasn't flawless based on all the hype, but I'm definitely willing to give Burgerlicious another shot. Pros: Cute concept, tasty burgers & fries, friendly staff, fun lemonade options Cons: Inventory hiccup (ran out of buns), lemonade a touch too sweet & lukewarm Overall, Burgerlicious has potential. With a little fine-tuning, it could easily be a Lancaster favorite!

Exactly what the name said- BURGERLICIOUS! It said what it said!…read more Hot-fresh-juicy and yassssss! Two thumbs up- but only after consuming these large and in charge burgers. You'll need both hands and things to handle these hefty burgers. Don't forget to order the onion rings that send crunch waves into the next county! Try those fries! Try the fries! My goodness, we got some for the table to share and I think I stuck my fork into everyone fingers if they tried to come near those fries- so good! Everything was very burgerlicious! My only tidly bit was the smell of sewage that some restaurants tend to have. Great lunching experience for us!
