    shooting station (i believe #3)
    Mia T.

Open to the public on Monday and Tuesday from 8am-2pm(which is when I went). It was $40 a person + 50¢ per clay. They have golf carts available (i believe for an additional price) and strollers for ammo and riffles. When you drive up to the property there is a gate that will open and you continue down the driveway to a big barn/ranch style building. There is a set of airstreams to camp in on your right next to the gravel parking lot. To the left you can see there dog boarding, training, and breeding center. The dogs bread and trained here can actually be purchased or rented for use at their hunting land. (They offer exclusive gourmet dining, drinking, and bar options inside for their members. This is an exclusive club and members have a ton of awesome events and perks.)Once inside the building they have a grand entrance and directly in front is the shop which sells apparel, firearms, and accessories. This is also where you sign in, fill out paperwork, and rent/purchase firearms and ammo. We were helped by mike who was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is a little more than a mile long course. There are 15 stations for clay with multiple shooting boxes at each station for different levels (easy, difficult, extra difficult). Super well kept, no shells all over the floor, and you can tell it its cleaned and cleared often. At each station there is a bucket for your shells, gun rack, a bench inside the station, and a trash can. There is also two sticks, one to help unjam your shells and another to pick them up off the floor. Will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others! Public days are so awesome and if I could afford the membership I would have gotten it in a heartbeat.

We got brunch at the outdoor seating area. I had the avocado toast along with the truffle fries. The avocado toast was very simple but delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The truffle fries were a great complement.

This is what a fun outdoor experience with the family should be like! We just tried the clay shooting facilities this time around. But can't wait to come back and check out the hunting grounds! If this is your family's first time shooting, please hire a coach. We got Cindy, who was amazing and fun. A super safe and fun way to learn to shoot in an upscale farm facility. Loved it!

During a Marin Catholic High School auction I nabbed a coupon that introduced us to this wonderful out-of-the-way shooting oasis. My son and I arrived here one weekend with our coupon and experienced one of the best shooting days we'd ever had. Since that first time, we've returned with our friends and have enjoyed every visit since. BPGBC features 7 shooting clay stands - where each provides a unique experience (one even features a rocking boat). Bottom line... this is a great place to shoot. One tip... be aware that the real location of this place is on the south side of hwy 37 (not the north side where Yelp! places it). I found this out when tried to "check in" one day and Yelp! wouldn't let me until I was about 2 miles on the north side of hwy 37 (take note Yelp!... if you ever read my reviews). :-)

I'd been wanting to get out and shoot some skeet at Wing & Barrel for quite some time and finally got to experience the magic this past weekend. It's a new establishment/concept from a group of Sonomans I respect and can't wait until the property is finished. There are plans for an amazing clubhouse and assuming I can afford it, I'm joining. :) If you're not familiar with most skeet/trap clubs, well they are all the same. You line up in a station, shoot 25 clay pigeons, then wait to shoot again. Normally you have people instructing you and it takes forever to shoot a few rounds. Wing & Barrel is very different. At this place it's more of a shoot at your own pace kind of place. You're given a card that tracks how many clay pigeons you use and you can move freely about the 15+ shooting stations. Shoot three birds here, shoot 27 there, it doesn't matter. I love it. I wouldn't recommend this place for beginner shooters as there aren't any instructors out there but, if you know what you're doing with a shotgun then this is the place for you. They do sell shells, and rent guns too. See you tomorrow Wing & Barrel.

Ask the Community - Wing & Barrel Ranch

I see on the site they don't mention membership pricing - can anyone comment on at least the range of membership fees?

I've read several articles that place membership at $75,000 - $150,000 with additional annual dues.

Fact is, most wouldn't even list wetlands... but they are one of the most underrated ecosystems in our state, and vitally important to the health of our fresh and salt water environments. San Pablo Bay is one of the largest of these areas left. As part of the greater San Francisco Bay and Sacramento River Delta complex, this area is critical habitat for hundreds of species of birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and invertbrates.... both those who live here year 'round, and those that migrate to and through this area at different times of the year. San Pablo Bay probably has more living things per acre than just about any other biome in the state. Tidal influences turn muddy areas seemingly devoid of creatures into bustling communities of creatures and food webs. At certain times of the year, wading birds, geese, ducks, and other waterfowl rest here on their migrations. At other times, many birds nest here in the marsh grasses. THis is definitely worth exploring slowly and patiently, and a little research in advance will help you discover more than just mud and grass. Slow down and use your senses... you'll notice more than you thought you would.

Misleading Auction Practices - Buyer Beware…read more I won an Urge2Hunt auction with a high bid of $3,750. The day after the auction closed, I was contacted by Serge and told there was an undisclosed minimum price of $7,950 that I would have to pay to receive the hunt. This minimum was never disclosed anywhere in the auction listing before or during bidding. After asking Serge to show where this requirement was stated, I received no response. Changing the price after an auction closes is misleading and undermines trust in the process. Unfortunately, after reading other reviews, this appears to be a pattern of undisclosed terms and pricing changes. Proceed with caution.

    # Buyer Caution: Urge2hunt (My Personal Experience)…read more Sharing my personal experience to help others do their homework before booking. - In my experience, the hunt we booked did not match the description we were given. - We were told the tag covered a 2‑mile radius on private land. - Over two full days, we did not see any game. - Access appeared to require a side-by-side to get around effectively. - Guidance on where to go was limited to a few general areas suggested by the landowner. I'm not making any accusations--just sharing what happened to us so others can make informed decisions. Different hunters may have different outcomes. ## Suggestions for Anyone Considering It - Research independent reviews across multiple, unrelated websites. - Ask detailed questions about land access, actual hunt area size, recent success rates, and whether a side-by-side is necessary. - Use a payment method with buyer protections; avoid "friends and family" payments so you have recourse if needed. - Get key details in writing (access, boundaries, lodging, equipment requirements, refund/cancellation policies). I wish we'd done more due diligence beforehand. Hopefully this helps others protect their time and money. Update: I find it funny He says he's got a great reviews. Make sure to look everywhere including Facebook rock slide and other places he's an absolute rip off. I've made sure to tell everybody possible and will continue to tell everybody possible.. he says we didn't put the work in that that's funny. We had four guys with two full days and didn't see a single elk.. Hunt does not what he promised and now he can't stand that people are calling him out. FAFO!!
