    Colorado Hunt Day 1 #Urge2Hunt

Serge cares about his hunts he sells, he listens to your wants and suggest the best hunt that fits your budget and interests. I have gone on about 10 hunts purchased from Urge2Hunt and they have all been wonderful experiences. Not all success, but memorable and wont forget them. For those bad reviews, remember it is hunting not shopping. Buy a high-fence hunt if thats what you are looking for. I highly recommend @Urge2Hunt great variety and great success rates.

Booked a 2024 Cow Elk Hunt in Idaho through Urge2Hunt. Serge was extremely responsive and after several back and forth questions/answers I decided to book the hunt. After my deposit was received, I was connected to the Outfitter managing the actual hunt. The Outfitter was also extremely responsive and helpful in setting up the dates as well as answering a number of detail questions I had leading to the hunt. I was fortune that I was able to drive to the property from where I live (Boise). Upon arrival I was greeted by the Outfitter as well as several of the guides. They immediately made me feel at home and a welcomed guest. As advertised, this was 100% on private land and I was fortunate to take a nice cow elk the first morning of the hunt. Several pieces of advice - be in shape, be familiar with your equipment and be prepared (and practiced) for long shots. There are plenty of elk around but they're elk and don't wait around to be shot at. Highly recommend this hunt!

    Great hunt package from urge2hunt!

Very misleading on the hunts he sells and poor communication. The Utah cow elk hunt he sells is a joke.

I wanted to share the experience I had with Diamond Sportfishing and Captain Kyle! WOW! We…read moregathered at the dock super early and although we thought it was early, Captain Kyle was up and at'm ready to fish! He said we were in for an adventure. The great thing about DSF is that they provide all the gear necessary for your catch. We were going out for Tuna as Bluefin are now found in the waters off the west coast, we were all pretty excited to go fishing. All we brought with us was food and drinks, having everything else included was a bonus. In the event we caught anything, they'll cut, clean, gill and give us fillets. The boat ride was awesome, no one got seasick thank goodness, there's ample seating inside and out. It was super foggy in the early morning, but cleared up by the time we started. I've not been on a fishing boat prior to this trip, and I was blown away at how scenic and beautiful the water was out there. The bright sunshine gave the water a super bright blue appearance, it was cool. Captain Kyle and his deckhand got everyone rigged up and ready to fish. The Captain is youthful and took his time answering questions and giving advice. His mixture of humor and knowledge of where the fish were was certainly a bonus because as soon as lines were in the water we heard, " Fish On!" That first Tuna took everyone on board including my son Parker to reel it in ( Posted Picture). What a freaking rush. It was exciting watching as everyone reeled something in on the boat. We laughed, joked and had such a fun day out on the water with friends. On our way back in to harbor the Captain pointed out several whale pods swimming around the boat, it was a trip seeing them jump. We enjoyed our lunch and talked about who caught the biggest tuna. In all honesty, that first one was the biggest in my book. I can't say enough great things about Captain Kyle and his Diamond Sport Fishing. Reservations were easy as charters go out practically daily either 1/2 or full days. The waters off of California are changing, getting warmer, they're seeing Bluefin Tuna and Marlin so who knows, maybe our next trip we'll catch something epic! Overall Impression: A+

The last time we rafted Middle Fork American was on a cold, gloomy, drizzling day in October 2019 - so we had to give it another go in warmer weather. This time around was just as memorable. Two of us in the boat ended up falling out in the water at Tunnel Chute, which happened so fast that I barely knew what had happened - thankfully, there was a nice calmer stretch of water right after through the river tunnel, so we were easily able to get back into the raft. (Thank you to our guide, Troy, for hauling me back in, and for being an awesome guide in general!) Plus this was one of the photographer spots, so the action was all captured for us to laugh about later. Later, after our tasty sandwich picnic lunch, we had a few unexpected events happen, starting from the portage down Ruck-a-Chucky Falls. Shout-out to all three guides in our group - Troy, Shea, and AJ - for handling things so calmly and getting us all back where we were supposed to be! We had plenty of calm stretches floating down the river as well. The canyon is beautiful and quite peaceful. We saw a ton of dragonflies flying above our heads, masked ducks chilling on rocks and diving underwater, and wild grapes and blackberries growing alongside the river. We'll be back again for another trip with All-Outdoors! Maybe we'll try a 2-day or 3-day trip next time.

Newhall Park is a large, neighborhood park not far from where I live. It has many things to…read morerecommend it, and yet it has been ages since I've been there - maybe I'm guilty of the "grass is always greener" syndrome. But finally, my wife and I returned on the recent Sunday and were reacquainted with all it has to offer. It's a good park for walking: there's a flat, dirt path that circles the park; I didn't measure it, but it's a decent length, especially if you make multiple rounds. Along the way you see the park has a large bocce ball court, a popular dog park, and a good sized hill for cardio purposes with the Concord Vietnam Memorial on the top. A weekend adult soccer game was going on in the middle of the field. On the other side of the park is a pond (we saw an egret, ducks and geese), and a marsh-like area with tons of cattails. Galindo Creek, heavily shaded with trees, borders the edge of the park. A number of benches let you take a break when you need it from your walk. Newhall Park is a little rough around the edges visually. There's none of the graceful elegance of a Walnut Creek Larkey Park, with its paved path, lush green grass and stately trees. Newhall's grassy areas are functional, but look beat up with numerous dead spots (maybe blame the soccer). The walking path is hard dirt, but can be messy after a rain. The parking lot also is unpaved, and is in poor condition with bumps and holes. We noticed a number of cars parked along Turtle Creek Road prior to the park entrance. But these are minor concerns. In the uber-populated East Bay, any park is a welcome break from wall-to-wall homes, stores and concrete. Newhall Park is an easy way to get out and breathe the fresh air, and deserves the popularity it enjoys. That Walnut Creek park may have greener grass, but sometimes that park down the street is all we need.

Absolutely stunning view of the lake. I hiked on a trail called the Kings Canyon Loop Trail. There are several ways to access the trails. I started at Rancho Laguna Park, where the trail entrance is near the kids playground. There are several other staging areas as well. For example there is a lot of parking at the Valle Vista staging area. At that staging area, there was a restroom, but I did not see any water. The restroom building there is pretty filthy. Except for some of the trailheads, don't expect to find water or restroom facilities on the trails. Keep in mind that this is official East Bay MUD land, so please get a permit before you hike on their Trails. It's really cheap, so there's no reason to not get one.

Prospective buyers should look closely before committing. The fleet is now made up of aging boats, roughly 4-6 years old, and the wear is evident. Inventory has reportedly been reduced from 9 boats to 5, including only 2 surf boats, while pricing remains unchanged. At the same time, members are being asked to move to an "unlimited bookings" model that still limits usage to no more than 3 bookings per month!!! Last season alone, boats experienced issues ranging from failed ballast pumps and broken amps to damaged railings and inconsistent availability. Yet despite reduced inventory, aging equipment, and declining service levels, ownership appears intent on maintaining the same pricing without meaningful reinvestment. Anyone considering joining should do their homework, verify the facts independently, and speak with former members. Membership has reportedly fallen from 42 to 17 and continues to trend downward.
