Misleading Auction Practices - Buyer Beware…read more I won an Urge2Hunt auction with a high bid of $3,750. The day after the auction closed, I was contacted by Serge and told there was an undisclosed minimum price of $7,950 that I would have to pay to receive the hunt. This minimum was never disclosed anywhere in the auction listing before or during bidding. After asking Serge to show where this requirement was stated, I received no response. Changing the price after an auction closes is misleading and undermines trust in the process. Unfortunately, after reading other reviews, this appears to be a pattern of undisclosed terms and pricing changes. Proceed with caution.

    # Buyer Caution: Urge2hunt (My Personal Experience)…read more Sharing my personal experience to help others do their homework before booking. - In my experience, the hunt we booked did not match the description we were given. - We were told the tag covered a 2‑mile radius on private land. - Over two full days, we did not see any game. - Access appeared to require a side-by-side to get around effectively. - Guidance on where to go was limited to a few general areas suggested by the landowner. I'm not making any accusations--just sharing what happened to us so others can make informed decisions. Different hunters may have different outcomes. ## Suggestions for Anyone Considering It - Research independent reviews across multiple, unrelated websites. - Ask detailed questions about land access, actual hunt area size, recent success rates, and whether a side-by-side is necessary. - Use a payment method with buyer protections; avoid "friends and family" payments so you have recourse if needed. - Get key details in writing (access, boundaries, lodging, equipment requirements, refund/cancellation policies). I wish we'd done more due diligence beforehand. Hopefully this helps others protect their time and money. Update: I find it funny He says he's got a great reviews. Make sure to look everywhere including Facebook rock slide and other places he's an absolute rip off. I've made sure to tell everybody possible and will continue to tell everybody possible.. he says we didn't put the work in that that's funny. We had four guys with two full days and didn't see a single elk.. Hunt does not what he promised and now he can't stand that people are calling him out. FAFO!!

When most folks think about California's wild areas, they most likely picture majestic sweeping…read moremountain ranges, evergreen forests, the central and northern coast rocky headlands, arid deserts or picturesque white sand beaches. Fact is, most wouldn't even list wetlands... but they are one of the most underrated ecosystems in our state, and vitally important to the health of our fresh and salt water environments. San Pablo Bay is one of the largest of these areas left. As part of the greater San Francisco Bay and Sacramento River Delta complex, this area is critical habitat for hundreds of species of birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and invertbrates.... both those who live here year 'round, and those that migrate to and through this area at different times of the year. San Pablo Bay probably has more living things per acre than just about any other biome in the state. Tidal influences turn muddy areas seemingly devoid of creatures into bustling communities of creatures and food webs. At certain times of the year, wading birds, geese, ducks, and other waterfowl rest here on their migrations. At other times, many birds nest here in the marsh grasses. THis is definitely worth exploring slowly and patiently, and a little research in advance will help you discover more than just mud and grass. Slow down and use your senses... you'll notice more than you thought you would.
