Don't waste your time or energy booking any hunt with this guy. If your lucky enough to get him on the phone. I had to leave him numerous voicemails, with a follow up email to get him to even answer his phone. Once finally on the phone he talks some "big game" about his property. His website is FULL of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT regarding prices and hunting options. He really charges $400 MORE then he advertised and was limited on game options. After finally getting this guy on the phone back in February '21 he stated we would book a hunt in late March or April. A few phone calls, VMs, and text messages later he failed to return any of my messages for the schedule hunt. This was at lest 3 months of trying to coordinate one hunt with this guy. HE'S a FLAKE and a D-bag for wasting my time. Do yourself a solid and book a hunt with someone else. I bought an auction tag at a spring 2019 mule deer dinner in livermore. Said it was good for 2020. My house burned down in Nov 2019 and covid happened in 2020. This guy won't honor the auction tag now because of the time limit. Really haven't seen anyone in any industry hold a hard line on this kind of stuff. Certainly there is more honor between hunters. I see he has a 3 out 5 ratung on Google so it looks like he's just a piece of work. Won't be donating to mule deer foundation any more nor will I ever recommend this chump. Probably would have sucked anyway. If you choose this guy, good luck! read more

Everything seemed good at first it was just camping with no facilities which was fine. our guide Brett was great but while we were told we would be hunting a 10000 acre ranch in Arbuckle by Josh we were actually confined to to a 600 acre high fence pen with feeders for the pigs. We were actually only able to hunt half of that because he had over booked and had archery hunters in stands all over rest of the pig pen. we did see some game not the 50 pigs a day for sure, but I understand that is part of hunting. There was also no cooler for the meat and the cleaning station had game heads and carcases all just sitting there in the heat all weekend. My dad and I had great time building some memories making lemonade out of lemons but we will not be going back. I would recommend bitter water outfitters that where we will headed from now on. read more

I purchased a two day one night pig hunt in an auction at a ducks unlimited dinner. I have never been on a guided hunt before and have mostly hunted public land. I have spent 37 years trying to get my first pig. I have never really wanted a guided hunt because I thought the guy would drive you up to a pig and say shoot it. Kind of like shooting a pig in a pen. I was wrong. We saw a lot of pigs and it would have been easy for the guide to say shoot that one and be done with it. Eli was our guide and he made sure we had fun, but also worked his but off to get us on some good pigs. It was definitely more of a hunt than I thought it would be. You have the option of goi for a big boar (which doesn't taste good) or going for a really good eating pig. It is hard to get a hold of the owner to schedule a hunt or finalise everything but that's because he is working and scouting. Keep trying him and you won't be disappointed.
