Brunch at Winewood is always a hit! Made a reservation thru Open Table and called the restaurant for a special request. The restaurant had ensured the tables were set and ready for us. We were a large group and were seated immediately. Service was great but there were some delays this time around. The restaurant was not super busy like it usually is on Saturday days. Drinks and food are always spot on and this visit was no different. Everyone enjoyed brunch and the group had a great time. Will definitely be back!

Winewood is a very charming restaurant in downtown Grapevine which specializes in American cuisine. Leaning towards upscale dining, this warm and inviting restaurant is a great place to gather. This review focuses on my recent visit for brunch. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Winewood has a phenomenal ambience, starting with its location in downtown Grapevine. Inside, there are deep dark wood booths, tables, and an enclosed, climate-controlled patio expansion that gives it an outdoor feel while remaining comfortable indoors. The noise level can get high if this area is full. 1 Star. Service - Our group of twelve had one server, while very nice, I think could have benefited from having some help. I mention this not because of the size of our group, but because Winewood exudes a very upscale feel, and this would have been a nice touch. Service was friendly, but there were some delays. 1/2 Star. Food - The menus very between brunch, lunch, and dinner. On my Saturday brunch visit I went with the Croque Madam. This ham and cheese grilled sandwich is topped with an egg. Best eaten with a knife and fork, the flavors were good and definitely felt like brunch. But while it was a valiant effort, I've had better versions (I prefer sourdough and cheese melted on the top of the bread). The fruit and yogurt that was served on the side was a home run. The fresh fruit sat in a bowl is a semi-sweet + tart yogurt that completed my meal. Shout out to a fellow Yelper in my party who offered his fruit to me which I happily accepted. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While my main item didn't hit the mark, the fruit and ambiance are incredible. Winwood really set's the mood. I'll be back to try another brunch item. 1 Star

Large Yelp group here for unofficial brunch! easy to find and LOTS of parking on both ends/sides of the restaurant! Nice and pleasant interior! Perfect for a few large brunch groups! The service was exceptionally good. The food was fantastic and the group really enjoyed their selections!

This is a great place and space for a group dining. We held our monthly Unofficial Yelp Event here for the month of February. It was the perfect setting which turned out to be a nice day. We sat at covered patio and it was perfect matched with a great service. I ordered from their 12oz. Prime rib from their brunch/lunch menu -companies with their brunch sangria. Halfway thru my meal, I ordered their Apricot Limoncello cocktail and that was the finally I had hoped for. Refreshing, sweet, tart and just the perfect "wash down" for the great meal I had with the great group of yelpers.

Nice upscale restaurant, clean and great atmosphere. Went for a work dinner- service was fantastic! I didn't get many pics- but they did a fabulous job and we'll be back. Great suggestions and we had a few appetizers for our table of 7.

We had a great meal here with out of town friends. They have plenty of space inside and out for large parties. Even have large flat screens by the bar for the avid sports fan. All the entrees we ordered were really good. Some highlights included: wagyu strip, ribeye, and jambalaya pasta. The meat was grilled perfectly, nothing tasted overly done. A nice surprise was all of the side dishes. The crab mac and cheese and the potatoes au gratin were delicious, tasted almost better than the main dish. Overall it was a great experience. We'd recommend!

Winewood was amazing. They have an extensive wine list, plus signature cocktails & several beers. Food was excellent. We tried the cheeseburger, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, & Cajun eggs Benedict. Great flavor. Ambience is good. They had decent decor, beautiful flower bouquets around, & nice spread out seating so you don't feel cramped. Service was really my only complaint. It was not terrible but was definitely lacking. Our waiter could not keep up with drinks. He seemed a tad flustered even though they were steady but not busy (we ate at 2pm, so after the large lunch rush & he had many other staff working along him). Just my opinion.

The food and service were exceptional. We came for a birthday celebration and everyone in our party enjoyed the choices they made. The lobster ravioli was light and sauce was creamy. The seabass and risotto were outstanding. The sea bass was cooked perfectly. The pontchartrain was my favorite. The redfish was perfectly seasoned and the sauce was full of seafood. Delicious!

3years later and the food and service still was still as wonderful as the first time!! Came early for a friends birthday lunch and I'm glad we did because by 12:00 it was super busy.

Great atmosphere and great food. Service was just as good. Our server was courteous and yet kept humor.

We tend to go for a nice luncheon with work here, however it's not a fast pace so allow time to enjoy conversation with your people. We started with the spinach dip serves with chips. Very tasty and lots of spinach. Our table had the pan seared red snapper with asparagus. I've had better cooked snapper but with the balsamic dressing it was great. Now the crab cakes were amazing! Plenty of crab meat! Mac n cheese w bacon bites , what can i say but Scrumdiddlyumptious! The beef tenderloin was moist and juicy with a large side of mashed potatoes. Trout was kinda dry but plenty of broccoli. For dessert we had the crème brûlée that was so creamy and the top was hard, perfect

Run don't walk to Winewood! I cannot sing the praises of this restaurant enough. Every dish we had at the table was not only delicious but beautifully plated. The chef is amazing. On top of that the service was great. I literally am planning my next dinner there already. This rates in some of my top meals/restaurants ever!

We came here with friends who recommended it, and wow! The food was absolutely fantastic. Not just some of the food--all of it was so delicious! Definitely give the Quail Knots a try. The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly, and our drinks were never empty. I was surprised at how busy the restaurant was on a Wednesday at 8pm, but it was crowded enough that we had to talk loudly to converse at the table. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be coming back again.

The food is too memorable. Wine selection is very good. Would've been better with more tapas type selections and not main courses.

Ask the Community - Winewood

Do they have any vegan options?

Yes, I am not a vegan however friends who are strict vegans join us all the time and have no trouble ordering.

Do y'all offer a kids menu?

When I was there the week before Christmas there was no kids menu. This place isn't really for kids either.

What are you doing to keep customers safe during Covid? We have friends that want to go for a birthday brunch but I'm worried it's going to be packed and dangerous.

We are utilizing one-use menus, screening all employees before their shift, sanitizing every table after-use, sanitizing high touch areas, face coverings, as well as social distancing.

Are the employees wearing masks?

yes, and Lenee went way out of her way to seat us on the patio. but no shade or umbrellas, too hot on 7/14/20 so walked over to Mi Dia which has big ceiling fans and shade on their patio.

Do they have TVs at the bar to watch football games?

Yes. And it's a very nice bar.

Can I bring my own wine for dinner?

To my knowledge this place is not BYOB. They have wine for purchase by the bottle or glass.

Hello we are planning an early dinner here on the 23rd with family are kids ok? And is there a kid friendly menu?

Children are always welcome, but we do not have a Kid's Menu.

Do you have bottomless mimosas for brunch?

We do not offer the bottomless Mimosas anymore, but during brunch hours Mimosas are only $3 a glass!

How do they do birthday celebration here or if any?

Reach out to Carlos, they are very supportive in making it a good time.

I was thinking about going here for brunch this saturday.. Do they have a deal for mimosas? or is it standard price?

Mimosas and Frosès are $3 each during brunch

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian cuisine on Main Street!…read more We stopped by Karma and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

The Himalayan thali was the highlight naan so soft it felt like clouds, and lentil curry that carried deep, cozy flavors. The chowmein with lamb and chicken had that smoky stir-fry kick, and the momos were a joy to try. The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Altogether, the mix of food, drinks, and atmosphere made the evening memorable in its own way.
