I had the Pork Bok Eum and the Deep Fried Dumplings. The food is a solid 5/5. The pork was packed with flavor, and the sauce was so good that I had to order an extra bowl of white rice to finish it. The deep-fried dumplings were crispy on the outside and delicious. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. The customer service wasn't the friendliest, but it was still okay and didn't take away from the overall experience. Overall, I'd definitely come back and would recommend this place if you're craving Korean food. read more

I don't necessarily go to restaurants by myself usually but this one was one of them because of how cozy it made me feel all year round ! During the winter, Id order their stews - and during the summer, Id devour their bibimbaps. Respectful and loving staff that deserve much love. Please try out their heartwarming meals! read more

Windsor Seoul Restaurant - Kimchi jjigae and sides - Korean Near Me - Windsor, Ontario

This is most definitely Not Korean Fried Chicken. I was so excited to get some KFC, haven't had any since living in NJ. Love the Korean restaurants and shops in the NY/NJ area. Should be bone in chicken chunks battered with rice flour. This stuff is like orange chicken at the mall with a soy gochujang sauce. Service was good, that's why I'm giving two Stars instead of 1. Wish I would have done the Kalbi or Bulgogi... read more

Windsor Seoul Restaurant - NOT Korean Fried Chicken - Korean Near Me - Windsor, Ontario

It is not real Karen food. It tastes just like homemade. That's why there is no other guest I think.

Windsor doesn't have very many Korean restaurants so when I came upon this one I was pretty excited. I had the (Jjam Bbong), dumplings, and Korean side dishes. The seafood in the was on point! read more

The overall rating is 3.5 stars. For someone that goes to Los Angeles often and enjoys the $10 AYCE Korean BBQ, I always wanted to find a place that offered AYCE Korean BBQ... but sadly no place in MI offers AYCE when it comes to Korean BBQ.... so after googling for a place, finally found Windsor Seoul... I had to make a decision as to if it was worth going to Windsor to eat or not... since I had to deal with the tolls and waiting at the customs... but I took a chance... went with my brother and my sister and her kids. After an hour of driving, paying $4.75 in toll on the bridge, waiting 25 minutes at the border for the customs, we found ourselves at Windsor Seoul. There's plenty of parking street, which has 2 hour limit... if you can park in the residential area, even better. Went in, it wasn't busy... we were the third table... got seated right away... we looked at the menu, but we knew what we wanted.... few minutes after being seated, the waitress asked what we wanted to drink... we got that... then 10 minutes later, we placed our order. Keep in mind, on this day, there was only one person working the dining area... They offer four types of meat: Samgulsal (Korean Beacon), Spicy Samgulsal (Jaeyukbokkum), bulgogi (marinated beef) and pepper-n-salt chicken. The samgulsal, spicy samgulsal were good... the spicy samgulsal wasn't spicy at all... the pepper-n-salt chicken was good as well, but we didn't get any after first round... the bulgogi was decent as well. The tables DO NOT have a grill built in, so they bring you a portable burner with the grill.. (I highly recommend you bring a t-shirt to change in afterwards). Cooking the meat takes about 15 minutes or so... but the pace at which you eat helps and as you the level fo the meat goes down, you order more... you can ask for specific types of meat, so don't be afraid to ask. They put out vegetables (onions, mushroom, cucumber, carrots, leaf lettuce, etc) in a buffet trays... it's self-serve so grab as much as you want. Ask for garlic, otherwise you won't get it. They give you two dipping sauces - miso based and soy sauce based. In addition, they offer you either deep fried dumpling or spicy rice cake... you can ask for 1/2 and 1/2 depending on how large your group is. We had around five plates of meat.... you also get a bowl of rice and miso soup... as for the banchan, you get get four items: Kimchi, potato salad, potato seasoned in soy sauce and bean sprouts. The buffet is $21.99 per person, requires a min. of two people... they also offer korean liquors - soju, beer and magull-li. There is a two hour limit to the BBQ, so it kinds of works out with the 2 hour parking lot limit :) There is a buddle tea joint across the street, but they weren't open... a good place to get some dessert before heading out. Check it out if you are in Windsor or passing through. read more

Oh my goodness! This may be my favourite restaurant here in Windsor, ON. I lived in S. Korea for a number of years and this is as authentic food served there as one can get. I absolutely love their Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi stew with rice cakes/ramyon noodles - I get pork put into mine as it's more authentic - you could also have beef or other options if you prefer), their Bulgoggi (marinated and stir-fried beef) their Kimchi Pajeon (Kimchi Pancake) and my absolute FAVOURITE FOOD from here - their Cheyuk Bo Kum (essentially, it's a Pork Stir fry). All entrees and soups are served with delicious sides including, oiled bean sprouts, deliciously seasoned mashed potato mound (Served cold), Kimchi and preserved radish of some variety. I've ordered this for take out at least 4 times now. It's amazing each and every time! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this restaurant!! read more

Even when Emone was still around, Windsor Seoul's combination plates were too good to pass up. My personal favourite is their pork bok eum followed closely by their soon du bu. So I usually get the combination for the two! I absolutely love how the pork tastes and I try to always ask for it and my soup to be made extremely spicy (but it's always never spicy enough for me). I love how they give you an egg to put into the soon du bu yourself. If their rice (btw their rice is delicious) was piping hot, I would love to mix the egg into instead! Their free side dishes are great too! My favourites would be the stewed potatoes and kimchi! I always finish my meals here! Great service and friendly staff. Prices are fairish (I say that by comparing to what I would order at Emone or Bibim To Go). read more

Windsor Seoul Restaurant - Combination plate with pork bok eum and soon du bu! Raw egg comes with your soup. Rice comes with the pork! - Korean Near Me - Windsor, Ontario

I had take out from here before, and it was quite good, but tonight I decided I wanted to eat in the restaurant, and I am glad I did.. I had the Budae Jjigae, or Army Stew. It is a mixture of American processed foods, and Korean ingredients, to make a perfect fusion of east meets west. It has a broth with kimchi, spicy peppers, Korean rice cakes, ramen noodles, glass noodles, spam, hotdogs, sausage, and believe it or not a,Eric can cheese. They come to the table but bubbling away in a crockpot. This dish is wonderful, visually, texturally and it is wonderfully satisfying. It tastes different yet quite familiar. The little side dish accompaniments rounded out the dinner perfectly. I cannot www it to go back for another her round, or explore the menu more. I am adding this. I took the rest of of my Budae Jjigae home, and when I opened it for lunch, they removed the noodles and put them in a separate container to keep them from getting mushy read more

First time here and only had the jambong but it's definitely delicious! There's so much to choose from on the menu, I wish I could eat more! It is a little bit pricey but definitely worth it. read more

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The decor is so cute, and the atmosphere... feels like home! It's very cozy and the food is fresh, every single time. The staff/owner is just so friendly and it makes me happy to be there. The food is delicious, so many options, and I can't wait to be able to dine in again! read more

I come from California and this is definitely Not the Korean bbq I am used to, I didn't like the fact that you have to get your own veggies back and forth and they didn't even had enough vegetables in the buffet like 5 options. They also bring the electric burner which takes longer than gas to cook. The food itself was okay. Definitely the first time and last. read more

Stick to the Korean part of the menu which is their specialty - or try their Korean-Japanese fusion dishes if you're feeling adventurous. The restaurant also offers All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ for those in desperate need of their protein fix. Read more at our website. read more

I used to live in Korea and I developed ravenous love for Korean food when I was there. This place satisfies all my Korean food cravings.

I love this place! Being a Korean style martial artist I became familiar with their food 25 years ago. This is as close to homemade as you can get. The all you can eat BBQ is awesome! Need a better beer selection. But they do have Keith's. read more

I got serious runs from this place. The bbq is too expensive. I didnt get it but saw other tables with it. Not worth money or a burn'n bum hole. read more

My friend and I found this place over a year ago and we haven't stop going back. The BBQ price has gone up a lot but we eat at least 2 plates of meat with 2 people so it's worth it in the end. I always get their combination meal the Soon du-bul and prok bok-kkum! I love eating there in the winter with the warm soon du0bul soup, and in the summer we go to get their shave ice desserts! It is so good with fresh fruits and mochi bites! If you want authentic korean food this is the place to go! The owner are from south Korea and they are super nice, every time we go they are always happy to see us :) read more

Great place for some good Korean food! The staff is always nice and the place itself has a great atmosphere. I love the bibimbap and pajeon!

It's a good quality restaurant with a friendly staff, but it is really expensive, for instance for 3 people the korean b.b.q will cost around $75. The black beans noodle for $12 had very little meat, it could use a lot more. It is a place that I would go once in a while, not frequently. read more
