Soooo of course, i waited until the last minute to find a dress for my son's baptism this weekend and i literally went thru all the stores in the mall (wasted a good 2hrs) until i went into Windsor and found THE DRESS! I usually think of this as more like extravagant, super elegant dresses and i only needed something simple for church which is why i hesitated on coming here but im glad i did because Chloe totally saved my life and helped me pick out the perfect dress and had great suggestions! My friend and I came in here only to experience two girls with the worst attitude and horrible customer service. When I got out of the fitting room to hand my clothes back to the girl working there she didn't even say a word and just took the clothes. Once we got up to the register these same two horrible workers were having a full on conversation and didn't greet me or my friend. Not even a smile. I'm never coming to this store again. Why would you work in retail if you're not gonna enjoy dealing with customers?? After all that is what half if not most of retail is lol. The only name I was able to get on my receipt was Bridget. I do agree with some if the other reviews on here. Not about service, i had great service. My 3 stars is more about the store and how bad the quality of clothing there has gone down. I believe at some point the dresses were all lined, but now it seems whoever I'd doing the buying is foing as cheap as possible. If you have a backless, cut out dress, and i hold it up to the light, and I can see right through it, my titties are gonna show, unless I wear wear a bra, and that's tacky. Also their fashions have gotten a little young for me. I'm 28, but petite, I'm a size 1 junior still, but the clothing is now geared towards teens, which is fine, but teens can't afford your prices..... The clothing racks were so stuffed with shit that I couldn't even go through it. Maybe corporate needs to go take a second look at this location. read more

It is really rude to physically block the door with your sign when it's 15 minutes before closing so that customers can't get into the store. We were hoping we could run in and find a junior bridesmaid dress for my niece given that we knew the color and size and no one needed to try on anything. I was really surprised to see the entrance blocked and have to physically move the sign to get into the store. We had to ask if they were still open and the employee was very rude to us and another party that asked the same thing. This is obviously a tactic these employees use to close before the actual closing time. I won't be bringing my business here again. read more

Throughout my time spent at Windsor the employees were standing around talking about how much they hate customers making a mess and going into fitting rooms by themselves however, there was a long line for the fitting room due to them standing at the cash register talking! Definitely would not recommend Windsor in Northridge save your time and go to Topanga where the store is far more organized and the employees are 100 times nicer! read more

I just had the most amazing experience at this Windsor in the Northridge Mall. I was stressing about dresses and went to over four stores in 3 miles. Nothing fit in a lot of the associates were absolutely rude. When Zoe was absolutely my last door to go to and as soon as I got to the door the entire side of the mall's power went out. I went to grab something to eat hoping it would be on by the time I finished and it was. I was greeted by the manager Irma who was actually so nice. I was helped by Julie I told him exactly what I needed and they found everything I wanted. She didn't seem rushed or inpatient or mad about it at all. I found a dress over my budget but was still willing to buy it because Julie was so nice. They were having an amazing sale and Julie found one more dress that she thought would fit. I ended up buying the dress of my dreams for $10 and saved $120!!!!!! You have no idea how happy I am! Thank you so much Julie and Irma you save my job read more

I'm not one to write a review and actually I hate online reviews, but this warrants writing my first one. I went into Windsor to get a formal dress. When I walked into the store I was not greeted and even ignored when someone stared right at me. I made it all the way to the back of the store, picked up four formal dresses, walked around with them and still no one said hello to me or asked if I wanted a fitting room started. I had to go up to two of the girls and ask for a room to be started and got two uninterested looks, still no hello, and then one girl took my items. I then walked around and found two more dresses to try on, but also needed a dress down from the wall, so I asked the two ladies in the fitting room to help me. Both looked at each other, paused as if to decide who would help me. When I finally went in I heard the employees asking people if they wanted a fitting room and were saying hello to everyone. They were more attentive to the customers that walked out without buying anything. I went to the front counter to purchase my dress and yup employees were greeting people coming in, but I got stares, bored looks, hesitation, and no help. I'm giving two stars because at least the girl at the sales counter said hello, asked the occassion, took the time to try to upsell, asked if I wanted to be a part of their rewards and if I wanted to have my dress folded or hung. Here's the kicker to this whole thing. I've been a retail manager in clothing for ten years and oh....used to be one of the managers at Windsor....the same store. Ladies if you want to act bored at work to everyone then cool...your perogative... but don't pick and choose when you want to be helpful and make it obvious to ignore one specific, PAYING, NOT RUDE, customer. read more

Dominique was extremely rude. When she was checking me out, she put one of my items away as a go back. I didnt know until I left the store but I realized and immediantly went back. I went up to her and told her she just checked me out and forgot my item. She glared and was very condescending when she told me that she would help another customer first. It took her a very long time and then when she was finally done and and I stepped closer, she told me that I had to go to the back of the line. Wow.... I'm at a loss of words! This store needs to work on customer service! Kaylin was beyond rude as soon as I walked in the store she had a bad attitude. For starters she didn't want to help me with anything I asked if the store carried any laced body suits and she pointed to a table and said "anything laced is there" and then walked away... as soon as it was time to pay she made that experience even worst! She was on her phone and didn't attend to me till she was done doing what ever it was that was more important then actually doing her job..then when she was finally ready to ring me up she didn't say anything she just grabbed the items and gave me a dirty look. She then gives me the total and I pull out a hundred dollar bill, she then stars looking at it to see if it's real, which I get it it's her job but she goes through ridiculous steps to see if it's real like holding it to the light then pulling out the pen and marking it (keep in mind this is one of the new 100$ bills) I guess marking it with the pen wasn't enough, that she loudly called her co worker and told her "can you come and check if this is real" TALK ABOUT EMBARRASSING!!!! It literally took the co worker seconds to confirm the bill was real! Then she starts laughing with a smirk... the co worker even noticed and when the co worker asked what's wrong she said "nothing"... I got my change counted it in-front of her since at this point she lost my trust and I walked out... kaylin had put in no effort to help me or make my experience a good one, she could care less about customer service and that shows a lot about company. I've never been treated this rudely for giving a company my business. At the end of the day this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be returning to the northridge location anymore . I hope this location starts taking more time to train their employees on customer service so that this never happens to anyone else. read more

Called in the morning for them to hold a dress because their store had my size. Called 3 times for them finally to answer. When kaylin answered she was rude from the start to the finish of how long till I will be there. I came in no greeting and from the other reviews seems like this is how they treat their customers. No conversation no did you need to try it on. I didn't purchase right away so I needed to try on. No help there either. When I went to pay she didn't say one word to me but that she didn't have change for $100 and I would have to go get it myself. When I came back with the change I asked if she could do a discount for the inconvenience and that she was rude on the phone. I asked for the mananger she said she was. Store was a mess as well. Overall experience was no good. I was at the Irvine store yesterday staff was friendly and helpful.Same with Oxnard store this morning. NORTHRIDGE store TERRIBLE. Since moving to a smaller location upstairs close to nothing relevant to my interests, it's been kind of a hassle to even remember this store exists. However, I was making my rounds around the entire mall because I was looking for something particular and figured I would be as thorough as possible. I was greeted by someone at the register, and it just kind of felt like someone shouted at me from way too far away so I just ignored them. I was looking around and then was approached by a seemingly nice salesperson, but when I told her that I just wanted to peruse through their selection, she turned kind of mean. It wasn't an obvious mean, but her "nice" demeanor definitely had a malicious and sarcastic undertone. For some reason, it felt like by me turning down her offer to provide assistance was her taking offense to doing her job and she decided to respond with subtle hostility and straight up rudeness. Even as I was looking around the racks, she was giving me some serious side eye. When I left, she shouted that she wished I had a wonderful day in a very sarcastic way and it made me never want to return to that store again. It was very reminiscent of Mean Girls and I did nothing to provoke this kind of attitude from a random salesperson. If you must go to a Windsor, I would highly suggest the one at the Westfield Topanga because the salespeople are much nicer and it seems like they have a better sale selection. Absolutely LOVE WINDSOR!!! I've been coming here for YEARS, But Yaritza ? Absolutely HATE! She was so rude with a nasty attitude. She was so quick to walk away and leave my questions unanswered. I asked her a few different things regarding dresses and shoes and she just flat out walked away. I've been in retail for 5years now and never have I ever came upon such a rude and disrespectful employee. The three times I've went the same nice young lady Yaritza takes her time to help me find exactly what I need and always has such a strong positive attitude. Great customer service. I made my way into the Northridge Windsor looking for a prom dress after having no luck at the one in Topanga mall. I thought they had a huge selection of prom dresses that were affordable. After trying on many dresses I finally found the one. As my dad and I went to pay for the dress, the cashier tells me I won their Cinderella Contest and I would be receiving my dress for free. I was so in shock. My dad and I started crying because this whole prom dress shopping has been really stressful and difficult because my mom recently passed away 10 months ago and this whole process has been really hard without my mom. We were and are so extremely grateful for this incredible gift. I really do think it was my mom being there and telling me everything will be okay. Needless to say I had a great experience at Windsor. The girls working there were so nice and down to earth. They really do make you feel comfortable and make you feel like they aren't just after your money and that one sale. I wrote down both of their names.
