When my son was asked to be the ring bearer at a wedding, we knew Friar Tux would be a good place to start when it came to options for a 4 year old. That & all the groomsmen would also be renting from there. We actually ended up buying a full suit for our son as it actually wasn't much more than renting. We figured we could get one or two more uses out of it with him & then our younger son could potentially use it in a few years. The employee who helped us out was great. Very friendly and helpful and did a good job measuring my son to ensure the suit we ordered would fit him properly. I will say, we showed up at opening on a Saturday to pick the suit up & no one was there. We (& a few others) waited 10+ minutes for an associate to show up. In his defense, he was very apologetic saying there was an emergency he had to tend to that caused the delay. It was fine, though had they opened up on time, I feel like there would have been less of a crowd waiting to be served. Luckily a second employee showed up about 30 minutes after opening and was able to help out. We were helped around that time. The suit was ready, we tried it on, and when we saw it fit properly, we headed out. Whole process too maybe 40 minutes. The fluke late opening issue aside, we had a wonderful experience at this Friar Tux. I have been using them since the early 2000s when I was in high school for formal dances to a decade ago when I used them for my wedding suit and I have to say this location gave us one of the best customer service experiences. I would definitely recommend using them for your suit rental (or potentially buying) needs. I will say, however, that the center that this location is in can get very busy and the parking spots are narrow so finding parking can be tricky at times. The driving areas are also narrow. So, in all, the worst part of this store isn't the store itself. It's the potential issues of getting to and from it. I'd say that's still a win. read more

Don't expect a bow tie If you have a neck that's over 18". Also, if you ask for another size or one with an elastic band, dont expect any accommodations. Just a terse "that's all we have." I had to purchase my own bow tie elsewhere, from a WIDE selection of my size might I add. Furthermore, since there was no bow tie, I didn't notice that the collar measurement was way off till the day of the actual event. I had over an inch of loose collar orbiting my neck. The only reason I didn't give one star was because of the courteous trans salesman that did my initial measurements, even though he got the neck wrong. I will not be going back. read more

Tyrone cheerfully greeted us, asked a few questions regarding preferences, then effortlessly set my husband up in a very elegant looking tux. The following week he came in for a fitting and to pick up the tux, Nadjan was amazing. She saw that all the final details (in sizing, securing the bowtie fit, and handkerchief fold etc) were addressed. Today we returned the tux, Sabrena efficiently processed our return. First let me start by saying that Tyrone is the only person here that was helpful and extremely nice. Now, getting to everything else- all other workers here are extremely rude. The day of my fitting we arrived at our appointment at 12pm sharp expecting to be helped because we had an appointment. There was another party there but I told the associate, at the time, that we had an appointment and he responds in a rudely manner- well they have an appointment too. Also when you first walk in there's a sign that says please check in, the associate only made us check in but every other party that walked in the store he didn't yell at to check in. While we were waiting at least 4 other parties walked in and he didn't yell at them to check in. Anyways I ended up calling headquarters and asked if there was another appointment scheduled for 12pm and he checked the appointment schedule and he said there wasn't any appointments scheduled for 12pm. So the worker at the time lied to me saying the other group had an appointment. Everyone from my wedding party that got a suit from them made a comment on how rude and disrespectful they were. If I knew I was going to get horrible customer service I would have taken my business elsewhere. We rented 10 suits from them at $180 each suit, I expected great customer service . I won't be coming here ever again. And I will never recommend this location or this company. read more

The first thing you'll notice when you walk in the store is that they ask for you to check in online by scanning their QR code. Sincr someone was already inside, it took about 10 minuyed for someone to help me so I was waiting outside..
