I am a new customer to Aritzia Topanga. Every time I come here to shop with my boyfriend, all the fake, rude, and phoney skinny sales associates are always giving me dirty looks when I try on multiple items and look in their stupid community mirror that I have to awkwardly share with other customers and I don't have the privacy in the dressing room to see how it looks on me, since there aren't any mirrors in their dressings rooms only "community mirrors." Every time I try multiple things on, I always have to walk out and look in the mirror while other girls take selfies and ogres of themselves in the mirror and I feel so uncomfortable being in the background. I am a curvy woman who has a big bust and curves, every time I try on my clothes and I have to walk out all the nasty and b**** associates always give me the dirty stares and looks and snicker at me. They all have the nasty attitudes and the absolute worst customer service skills. Sam body shamed me when I was trying on a dress and I am a size 8/10 and she pulls out a size 0 for me to try on, when she clearly sees I'm a curvy woman who's a size 8/10 M/L. They always make me feel uncomfortable when I am trying on clothes glaring at me giving me dirty looks making me feel uncomfortable and laughing at me behind my back to the other associates looking at each other while I look in the mirror. This location has the worst associate and the Yuli who is one of the manager's is extremely rude and very unhelpful. She is extremely fake and doesn't care if you complain how her associates treat you. All she does is apologize in a passive agressive manner. They do not train their employees well with customer service. All of them are unwelcoming, not friendly, and are very disrespectful. Every time I come in to shop here with my boyfriend to buy my clothes, the associates always make it hell and give you the worst in store shopping experience. Everything about the Topanga location is a complete joke. I don't like Yuli the manager or Sam. They are both awful. Even the manager needs to be trained in customer service skills it's pretty sad honestly. The only positive thing I can say is, the most helpful and friendly associates are Mahroo and Pam! Pam made me feel comfortable when I tried on my clothes and made me actually feel confident when I was in the store looking at myself in the mirror. Pam has great customer service skills too Mahroo gives excellent customer service skills and helps pick out great outfits! I recommend asking for Mahroo or Pam, to save yourself a headache from all the other ones. They will both take care of you and make sure you have a great shopping in store experience and find clothes you love. I love Aritzia's clothes and the clothes jaw lays Keisha's and come home with, and the quality of the clothes as well. I live in Calabasas and I will not be returning to this location unless something I need is in stock here and it's my closest store to home. I will be continue shopping online at Aritzia's website and go to the Century City location, where I'll have a much more pleasant and welcoming in store shopping experience and be treated with respect, have better customer service and friendlier welcoming associates, and not be body shamed for being a curvy woman. Seriously just because you work at Aritzia it doesn't mean your s*** doesn't stick too! I hope this review helps! read more

I ordered a hoodie from this store and received it severely damaged. I was forced to repurchase the item and told I would be refunded for the damaged one. It has been 15 days and despite calling customer service 6 times, I cannot get my refund. They keep telling me that the store definitely received the defective item and that they are the only one that can release the refund. This is a big company and it should be a seamless process to do returns/refunds. Not only did I receive a severely defective and damaged item in the mail.....but they are not refunding me after being forced to repurchase a fresh item. Inexcusable, I will have to contact my bank next to dispute this. read more

Overrated & expensive fast fashion. Abercrombie and Fitch has way nicer body suits. Really bad attitude from most of the staff. Rude. Also so rude that no one from corporate doesn't read these reviews nor take any feedback to heart because clearly I'm not the only one experiencing terrible customer service and complaining about it. If I had to guess this company might burn bright for now but who knows... I feel like their logo is so chic, interior and layout of store is beautiful but the clothes and customer service are sub par. If you're going to buy something that's high quality I'd aim for their leather belts and the belt bags. The clothing seems to favor super thin frames. read more

What a nice experience today! I came in browsing and I must say, every associate I encountered was so friendly and helpful. And upon going to the fitting room, I tried on a dress that was a little too large and was helped quickly and was brought a size smaller that fit perfectly, and though unfortunately not in the color I original wanted, it ended up being better! This store has the rudest, most unhelpful salespeople. They could not be less interested in selling items or helping customers. They literally sat on the couch by the register, looking at their phones and chatting. Everytime I come here for an event or vacation look the employees and stylist have always given me their undivided attention and always go wayyyyyy above customer service for me. I love aritzia's clothing but every time I've returned something here they always make up a new rule and say that I was told when I purchased my items which is a lie every time. They need to come up with a better, clearer way of communicating their return policy. They told me last time "when you purchased the item we told you, you could only get store credit and it's on the receipt." Which one they in fact didn't and 2 if I already purchased it and the rules are on the back of the receipt how would I know the rules before I purchased, makes no sense. read more

The most unprofessional sales people with nasty attitudes. They don't care about customer service and only care about socializing and belittling customers. Specially when it's 10 minutes from closing and they could care less. These employees need to be trained on how to provide customer service to their customers. Don't bother wasting your money here. Honestly everytime i have came into this location the girls only help the skinny chicks or the ones they assume have money, they don't ever come up to me. Love this location. Not so bz as the one in Glendale. What I love about their products are the ones for cold weather. The materials keep me warm and are comfortable to wear. My favorites are the cozy fleece tops and pants. Currently in Toronto Canada and oh boy, I am wearing them and they are warm enough for the 30s and 40s weather. Prices are exactly the same but I'm getting more bang for the buck with CA$. Another of my favorite is my green shawl jacket that I got on sale like two years ago and I'm waiting for it to go on sale again to purchase other colors. The employees here are INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. I've purchased many gifts for my gf and family here which as a man can be overwhelming with all of the selection. The women here made this a breeze by explaining all of the popular styles and bringing me tons of options and offering to order sizes in items that they do not have in stock. Under average experience. I was browsing with my mom when a sales associate approached to start a room, mind you I had nothing in my hands. She was a bit awkward almost following us around the store and reminding me of "the sale" for 20% off everything. I picked up a pair of pants I didn't really want to try on but started a room, when I went to try them on she was aggressive to buy more and shop which made me uncomfortable. Fast forward I start checking out 1. I couldn't understand her 2. She didn't give me the discount (had to go back and void the transaction) 3. She didn't tell me it was final sale until I swiped my card. Not that I intend on returning but a warning would be nice. She said it was because I purchased the item on sale. My gf (Alexxa) and I (T) went into the Aritizia to purchase a few pieces we needed for a work conference in a few weeks. Alexxa wasn't quite sure what she wanted or where to even begin to look. (im pretty sure it showed on our faces lol) We were pleasantly greeted by Ciara ( Cierra, Sierra) ( sorry im not sure which is the correct spelling of her name). She seemed to have been working on a few things already but she approached us ready to help. She was so informative on the items and collections offered in the store. Although Alexxa wasnt giving her much to work with, Ciara was attentive and patient. Recommending styles and fits that she thought Alexxa would like. We tried on so many pieces, the process was quite long BUT Ciara was with us all the way to the end. The clothes! The staff! The ambiance!!! What is this gem?! Replacing American Apparel (in my head) and completely blowing them out of the water is this Canadian clothing brand. I compare the two for the aesthetic although AA had its time and went out way before COVID for me. The clothes are gorgeous, extremely high quality, and very versatile. I bought an activewear set in all gray last month which has been my favorite pair of leggings ever since. I got the TNA Active and it feels like butter to me!!! I work out hard and this material hasn't betrayed my sweat, j have noticed they form creases in the drawer, but those fade after an hour of wear. The staff here is so lovely, they have a relaxed and cool vibe, yet they're very willing to help you answer questions about their clothes. Heather helped me out on this particular visit and her personality alone inspired me to read to Yelp and write this review a month later. I had never been to this store and I was excited to finally pick something out as I had heard amazing things. I have been to this store several times I'm nuc and now I ca' it started w me buyout some azimf sweaters ams it kept wsoa won't! I got addicted to the puffers, and that was the end of that. I would recommend anybody getting involved with this company to lose the Dorothy's that really likes warm coats and good quality. Upon entering the store, I did not realise that their female employees have flocked together to whisper and stare at us as we shopped around the store. I only caught them because as I looked up to their direction, I caught them in the act, especially one girl who gagged at me quite loudly. When they realised that I caught them, they jumped and all skittered away with one girl saying "she saw us!". I have to say this is my first experience being treated so poorly by employees at a store like Aritzia. I have never felt so disrespected and so unprofessionally treated. I honestly froze up and I didn't think about getting the store manager nor confronting the employees at the time. I do not have their names, but I distinctly recall two of the girls who were the worst amongst the little group they had. The girl who gagged at me was white with blonde hair, wore a white shirt and black shorts at the time. I saw her running back to her spot at the cashier. The other girl who said "she saw us!" was also white and had her hair in braids. She wore an oversized green flannel jacket with blue denims at the time. I don't know if perhaps they thought I looked poor, my outfit was not to their liking, or maybe it was because I am Filipino and my partner (who was with me at the time) is Mexican- perhaps it is a race issue? Either way, do I not deserve common decency? I don't know how they could get such attitude when they're just working at a mall? I'm hoping something can be done to avoid this from happening again to other people, so I hope anyone would take this seriously. read more

They have the worst customer service and return policy out of all the stores. I purchased a pair of sweatpants during Black Friday when whole store was 10% off. No one mentioned that by getting the 10% off that item becomes final sale. The fitting rooms were so packed that day. I decided just to buy those sweatpants and bring them back if case they didn't work out. when I came back to try to return them they told me because I got the 10% off on a $70 pair of sweatpants, Those pants were now final sale and I was not allowed to return them. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED. I literally LOVE shopping at the Woodland Hills Aritzia BECAUSE of the customer service. Everyone is so attentive, helpful, and truly just amazing energy. I was recently in and Sierra (spelling?) was a godsend! She took care of me and made me feel like I was a celebrity. To be honest, everyone in there was helpful, pulling sizes, removing the "nos" from my room so I didn't get overwhelmed. It's really the most pleasant shopping experience. I've been to Aritzia in the Topanga mall many times and I always leave happy! The clothes are very fashionable and great quality. I find myself wearing clothes from Aritzia more than other pieces in my closet. A few times that I have visited, an associate named Liana has helped me out. She is always so warm and welcoming towards me and makes me feel like I'm the only customer she is helping! When visiting a store, I aim to walk around and enjoy shopping on my own, but receive help when needed. She always helps me find what I need for specific occasions; if I have an outfit idea in my mind, she helps me bring it to life. I will never ever visit this place again. I made a return few weeks ago and the girl was giving me major attitude and the manager ended up helping with the transaction. Today I went in to make a return from an online order, I was literally in store for 2 hours because of some computer error. The girl that was helping DOROTHY or whatever was nice at first. The concierge emailed me a return request, I showed it to her and she did not read the email and assumed they processed a refund when we were on the phone with another concierge. She told the concierge that the refund was processed which was not the case simply she did not read the email. So the concierge ended up telling her to take my item and charge me for another without any documentation. She rushed me out the door and said it was already refunded and I asked for her name she told me she does not need to give out her name? I went back after talking to another concierge and found out the refund will not be processed unless I ship back the items. How do I do that when Dorothy took the item? Dorothy also lied to the manager that she was just doing what the concierge says but that was not the truth. She told the concierge about the email that the refund was processed when it clearly said it was a return request. I was so over it and I did not want to be there anymore so I just let her say whatever she want to her manager. It was a mess and it was crazy. After 2 hours of back and forth the manager ended up giving me a refund. NEVER AGAIN. I really question all retail associates intelligence at Aritzia. How come something so simple had to be so insanely inconvenient. read more

Well for starters, every Aritzia location I've been to (century city & Glendale & topanga) all the employees rush you at the door. It's quite uncomfortable and overwhelming. I'm not sure if it's because they get commission or not but they're all trying to give me their names when I repeatedly say I'm just trying to browse. Now back to the main point: I purchased a romper in store at a different location. It was close to Black Friday but wasn't on that actual date. It got shipped to my house a few days ago. I brought it in to return in person since the box was damaged and the return shipping label fell out. I didn't catch this cashier's name, ironically, but she was so incredibly unhelpful. She was kind at first but then tried to give me every reason of why she couldn't process the return. First, "this barcode isn't scanning." Second, "this was purchased on Black Friday so it's final sale." Third, "it's past the 10 day period." Every time I came back with the reason that was definitely not the case she got more flustered. Finally, it was processed and when I thanked her, out of courtesy despite her unprofessional manner, she just said "mhmm." Not coming back to this location. read more
