I am a new customer to Aritzia Topanga. Every time I come here to shop with my boyfriend, all the…read morefake, rude, and phoney skinny sales associates are always giving me dirty looks when I try on multiple items and look in their stupid community mirror that I have to awkwardly share with other customers and I don't have the privacy in the dressing room to see how it looks on me, since there aren't any mirrors in their dressings rooms only "community mirrors." Every time I try multiple things on, I always have to walk out and look in the mirror while other girls take selfies and ogres of themselves in the mirror and I feel so uncomfortable being in the background. I am a curvy woman who has a big bust and curves, every time I try on my clothes and I have to walk out all the nasty and b**** associates always give me the dirty stares and looks and snicker at me. They all have the nasty attitudes and the absolute worst customer service skills. Sam body shamed me when I was trying on a dress and I am a size 8/10 and she pulls out a size 0 for me to try on, when she clearly sees I'm a curvy woman who's a size 8/10 M/L. They always make me feel uncomfortable when I am trying on clothes glaring at me giving me dirty looks making me feel uncomfortable and laughing at me behind my back to the other associates looking at each other while I look in the mirror. This location has the worst associate and the Yuli who is one of the manager's is extremely rude and very unhelpful. She is extremely fake and doesn't care if you complain how her associates treat you. All she does is apologize in a passive agressive manner. They do not train their employees well with customer service. All of them are unwelcoming, not friendly, and are very disrespectful. Every time I come in to shop here with my boyfriend to buy my clothes, the associates always make it hell and give you the worst in store shopping experience. Everything about the Topanga location is a complete joke. I don't like Yuli the manager or Sam. They are both awful. Even the manager needs to be trained in customer service skills it's pretty sad honestly. The only positive thing I can say is, the most helpful and friendly associates are Mahroo and Pam! Pam made me feel comfortable when I tried on my clothes and made me actually feel confident when I was in the store looking at myself in the mirror. Pam has great customer service skills too Mahroo gives excellent customer service skills and helps pick out great outfits! I recommend asking for Mahroo or Pam, to save yourself a headache from all the other ones. They will both take care of you and make sure you have a great shopping in store experience and find clothes you love. I love Aritzia's clothes and the clothes jaw lays Keisha's and come home with, and the quality of the clothes as well. I live in Calabasas and I will not be returning to this location unless something I need is in stock here and it's my closest store to home. I will be continue shopping online at Aritzia's website and go to the Century City location, where I'll have a much more pleasant and welcoming in store shopping experience and be treated with respect, have better customer service and friendlier welcoming associates, and not be body shamed for being a curvy woman. Seriously just because you work at Aritzia it doesn't mean your s*** doesn't stick too! I hope this review helps!

First of all, they have some cute little outfits, but I have to say... You get what you pay for. I wanted a few tank tops for my new dance class and came up on those at a good price, but I saw this cute top and decided to try it on. It was cute. Fit me well, so decided hell why not. Well sorry to say, I shouldn't have bought it. I wore the shirt out to a bar one night and I lifted my arm and the stitches cam apart on one side. By the end of thi night both sides came apart. You'd have to see the top to understand, its not like I was topless by the end of the night, lol, but it was crappy and it was cheap and it super sucked. Luckily I got it fixed elsewhere and its still a cute top I love to wear, but the fact that I had to take it somewhere to get it fixed up, it cost me more than I wanted to pay and its fine now, but what kind of crap is that really? Only reason I still gave this place 3 stars is because I do like my tank tops for dance class and the people there are really nice people. Both times I've been in the lady gave me a thing or two for free, but other than the tanks, ill probably not buy anything else there unless I like to waste my money. Nice people, cute clothes, but it cheap stuff that they probably just buy from downtown anyway. So buyer beware. Keep a close eye on what you get and make sure its not falling apart before you get it home.

First time at this Woodland Hills location and definitely will not be the last…read more After I left Jack in the Box on the 14th of this month, I walked in to this nicely organized, clean store that had a lot of personality. I was greeted by 2 employees. One by the name of Martha and the other one Ashley. Got there a little after 2:25pm. They both wanted to know how they could have helped me? I said I am just browsing for now, once I find out, I will let you know. They both smiled and walked away. Great asset to the company. As I was browsing, few things caught my eye and didn't need them, but liked and wanted them. Prices were very affordable and reasonable. Everything was well organized, and hanging on the racks. All items had their own prices. They also have a lot of designer items. Got myself nice white flat shoes, (small rhinestones all around), later as I was walking around, I noticed a cute, square, white color purse with lots of pockets inside and out, Liz Claiborne, with a nice long strap. It had a little wear and tear on the top & on the strap. The cashier gave me a 10% discount on it. I approached the accessories department, and saw this bulky, round color bracelet with small details on it. It was pretty dope and unique. A lady that was standing next to me said that's from India. I was like oh, ok. I also bought me 2 small perfumes, each for $25, and a lotion that was on sale for only $5.99. Saw this gorgeous black blouse that you can wear going out or just feeling groovy. Casual wear. As I was checking out, got thirsty, got me Sprite and water, also 2 M&Ms. Always have a sweet tooth. For a first time shopper, had a good experience. All that only cost me less than $150.00 including tax. Has a parking lot, not sure about restrooms. That's all I have to say until I return, when I am in the area. A lot of discounted items all around the store.. Thank you Ashley, Martha, management and of course Nordstrom Rack!!

I'm writing this as a calm heads-up for fellow shoppers, not as a rant. I recently bought a pair of…read morepants from Nordstrom Rack and, after just one gentle wear, the fabric reacted strangely and the condition became genuinely unacceptable--clearly a quality issue, not normal wear-and-tear. I returned with my receipt, hoping for a straightforward exchange. Unfortunately, I was assisted by the manager on duty, Tyler (I wasn't given his last name). While I fully understand that return policies have fine print, I was shocked by his approach. Tyler was dismissive from the start, interrupted me several times before I could fully explain the defect, and spoke in a condescending tone that made me feel like I was being unreasonable for even asking. He refused to examine the pants closely or consider that a one-wear item might have a manufacturing flaw. I left without a resolution--not because of the policy, but because the interaction was so unprofessional that I no longer felt comfortable even attempting to negotiate. A useful warning for others: If you buy here, inspect your items carefully and keep all tags, because if a defect shows up later, don't count on management at this location to work with you. Tyler sets a very unwelcoming, rigid tone that completely undermines the brand's usual reputation for service. I hope corporate takes note, because customers deserve basic respect even when a return is denied.

A bit disappointed as I've been to this store many times and never experienced the discrimination…read morethat I had today. Noticed the manager took a special interest in us to slowly walk past and stop to 'organize' items next to us. Saying "hello" after the fact but then proceed to walk past again. Still looking around for items, another worker decided to get extremely close while 'putting clothes back.' She did not speak but i thought what coincidence that you're coming right next to us when I just seen you two aisles away aways working. Lastly we get to the register and another cashier decides to stand behind us as we are getting our things rang up. I noticed this energy wasn't provided for the women right before us who also had a lot of items, even spent the same amount, maybe more. Nor was this energy being given to the people who were after us who also had a lot of items. I used to work retail and understand there's procedures on how you have to be on the look out for theft but when there's other individuals who are lighter complexion with the same items, doing the same things that I have and that I'm doing and they aren't being met with the same energy, that gives off a different impression. Definitely shows there's a biased from the workers mind you the area the store is in is predominantly black and brown... Please note again this is not my first time coming here and I've always enjoyed the store and its products but today was a different experience that wasn't so pleasant.

This new location is a lot smaller than some of the others but that was not my issue. My problem with this location was the lack of staff, cleanliness, and difficulty to find prices on certain items. Most of the shoes I tried on did not have a price (see picture) and it was hard to walk through some aisles as things were on the floor in the way. I wanted to buy some water bottles for my son, but as you can see from the picture it was already black and dirty on the outside. They had a decent amount of items in their travel section and you can get some pretty good deals on suit cases as well as perfumes and other items. I was able to leave with some new baby pacifier and some kitchen cups. I will try going back in a few months to update my review after it's been open a bit longer and hopefully worked out some of the kinks.
