The wine was fantastic and the gourmet food was the perfect match. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and answers all our questions about taste and food that would complement the wines. The owner of the facility also stopped over and chatted with us. Definitely my first trip on the next visit to Napa & Sonoma.

We were shown to our table and they offered us some time to walk the grounds, garden and view the lake. They said we could spend more time after lunch, viewing the rest of the property. The garden was beautiful. Lots of herbs and flowers, with labels. The restaurant itself was gorgeous. Wood. High ceilings. Nice decor. Our server seemed pretty new. He made a few errors throughout, but that did not significantly deter from our experience. It was really neat that the chef came out with every pairing and explained each course. We never felt rushed. There was plenty of wine. The food was exquisite. We ended up buying a few bottles of wine and even though I filled out the shipping information and told the server my preferred vendor was ups over FedEx because I have an account - he managed to bring our bottles of wine all bagged up, to our table. Yikes. We were curious about the pizza oven upon arrival. We saw it and hoped for pizza but they did not have that on the lunch pairing menu. So after we finished our scheduled lunch, it was pretty slow there, so we asked if we could stay and order more food. Our server brought the menu for us (after our third request) and we ordered a pizza and the fries which basically stated on the menu that they were the best fries you've ever had. Well, I can attest that they are not. Yes, they are shoestring fries for you lovers out there. But also, they're not a step too far from McDonald's. So that's all. Not the best of my life. Not life changing. Just like McDonald's. But the pizza was good. Unfortunately I had asked if it was red sauce and was given a yes answer. But you can see the pizza doesn't have any red sauce on it at all. I probably would've ordered a different one, if I was properly informed. Also, I asked for no balsamic glaze and of course it came with balsamic glaze. Yet another error. Whatever. I'm not sure what's up with people who swear by balsamic? Keep it off my bruschetta, it doesn't belong there. And don't put it on Brussels sprouts either. Yuck. Too much sugar and it's not necessary. On the pizza, it was fine, but not my preference. But it probably saved the pizza because there a was NO SAUCE. Anyhow- their little gift shop area is super cute and I perused the items. Also- they have a shelf of board games! How fun! It would be great to come by, get some light bites, a ton of wine, and play games and take a walk to enjoy the property. It's such a gorgeous place. I would recommend this place. The lunch and wine pairing was expensive, but the food was superior quality. The wine here is great. We did not become members but I can see why people do. Their Sauvignon blanc was one of my faves, so that was two of the bottles we purchased. Our order was eventually packaged and sent to us, via FedEx, not UPS, and was in good shape upon arrival.

We had to check in at the front desk, show our credit card even though I put it in when I checked in online. The guy at the front desk was very professional and cheery. He gave us a run down of the property, showed us where the time of breakfast was, on our key pouch and gave us 2 keys as requested. In the lobby they have a fruit bowl, apples and bananas. They also have coffee and hot water for tea. No hot chocolate, but they have 4 options of tea. Walking to our room in the hallway they had a table set up with lemon water and a pumpkin (we checked in October 12th) with apples in it that said take one. Our room was 322, away from the stairwell, ice machine and stairwell. It was the perfect location. The room was quiet, we couldn't hear our neighbors. The room was large. It had a desk and chair to lounge in. The TV had plenty of channels. Several HBO channels and Disney. We watched The God Father. The room also has a Kerig machine and 2 tea bags, different from the bigalo that they have downstairs, this was generic tea. There is also a fridge. They don't have a laundry bag in the closet. You have to go to the front desk for a laundry bag. The shower has Dove products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) in dispensers. They give you a mini bar of dove for the sink. They have 2 rolls of toilet paper on display. The complimentary breakfast was a hit. They had chafing dishes with cheese omelets and your choice of turkey or pork sausage patties. We pared this with a cinnamon roll. They also had a variety of juices, chocolate and plain milk, a pancake machine, bagels and breads. Then was something for everyone. I'd stay here again. It's near Rushing River Brewery and next door to a bowling alley that also has mini golf in the evenings. Windsor isn't in the heart of everything. But it's close enough to everything and the price was right. It was a busy hotel, we saw lots of people at breakfast, but there was still plenty of seating.

They have coffee and tea in the lobby for 24 hours. Our Keurig coffee machine inside our room was not working, we only used it on our second night and it was not brewing. Told the front desk about it and the guy on the front desk was very helpful. They have a swimming pool, gym, spa, sauna. The price was reasonable. There's some noise coming from the cars in the streets outside. Other than that, we had a good stay! Will consider staying in this hotel again in the future.

We've been at their ranch since September 2024, and every single staff member we've encountered (including office, groundskeeping, and instructional staff) has presented themselves with the utmost professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm. They've taught our boys how to ride and care for horses in a safe and skilled manner, all while exhibiting patience, dignity, and grace. They are friendly and welcoming at all times, and I feel no hesitation to trust our instructors with the safety of my children. The safety of their students and horses are of primary concern here--as it should be. I must offer an extra special thank you to Mia and Izzy, who have always made it their goal to teach my kids everything they possibly can about riding and equestrian care. It has been a blessing and a joy to work with them, and we love them both dearly! Thank you, ladies, for your dedicated work, and for always bringing upbeat smiles, wisdom, and positive attitudes to your students. I'd be remiss if I didn't also give honorable mention to Carley, who is not our instructor, but who is often on the training grounds during our appointment time. She makes us feel welcome, and goes out of her way to be friendly and encouraging while we are there. Thank you, Cloverleaf. Your pursuit of excellence in your craft has been of great benefit to our family. Keep up the good work!

They have a great stage and everything was cleaning up kept the patio area is very beautiful with the fountain in the center the only issue we had here was as soon as it became desk there was no lighting outside which was a shame because we could've taken a lot more pictures out there as the temperatures cooled down I think some people might've even danced out on the patio-we did have a giant game of wood and dominoes that we were going to play but it was too dark to do so. Overall I would give it an 8.5 out of 10-I removed one of the stars because of the lighting issues which is crucial when you have a lot of people to entertain

A couple of years ago, I was looking for a place to host our wedding reception. Anyone planning a wedding in Sonoma County knows that venues don't come cheap. With a guest list of nearly 200, we were starting to freak out. The Furth Center came across my list and I decided to check it out again, just for the heck of it. The look we wanted for the wedding was an old Spanish mission feel and the Furth Center definitely delivered. It was like I was looking at it through a new set of eyes. I don't know if they had remodeled or if I was just that blind when I was in high school, but it really is a gorgeous facility. I had some concerns as the event date drew near, since the man I had been coordinating with ended up leaving and a new person was put in charge of my event. Many of the files had gone missing and a lot of the things he had promised were not written down. However, the new coordinator took care of everything (along with their facility manager- ugh, I wish I could remember her name!). Our wedding reception was a hit and they really took care of us. The dance floor is pretty big and there is PLENTY of room for tables/seating. They have a stage (where we put the dj) and they took care of setting up the tables and bars. I hired a cleaning crew to pick up after the event, since they're not responsible for that, but that's understandable. Their outdoor fountain area was perfect for pictures. The ceiling had white linen draped with twinkly lights, which really gave it a nice vibe. I'm so glad we booked with them! I would do it all over again! :)

The entire process was so easy from booking, communications, and vendor recommendations. We rented the Coop as well to get ready and it was such a perfect spot to be on the property but tucked away from the main grounds. Our guests continue to say how magical the wedding weekend was because of our venue! Guests walk through olive trees and into an open cocktail space with an abundance of flowers and fresh lavender. The ceremony site is under a beautiful large oak tree overlooking the Alexander Valley. The backdrop really sold me on why we had to get married at Ru's! Dinner was in front of the barn with twinkly lights. Then the dance party was in the barn where we also had lounge seating, and dessert! We had 140 guests which felt like just the right amount of people and the spaces all flowed nicely for it to feel like we could all be together the entire evening- without it feeling too large. We are still on such a high almost five months later and friends still tell us it was the best wedding of 2022! We cannot thank you LeLe and LJ for the best weekend!

It's beautiful and charming in a way that photos barely capture, but that's just the start of it. Lele, the venue owner was a joy to work with. We could tell how much love and care she puts into the space and that working with her would be the opposite of the cookie cutter, corporate experience we've experienced at other popular venues. She provided a thorough tour of the space, a really helpful preferred vendors list, and other wonderful tips and tricks. All the preferred vendors were top tier, and it ended up saving us a ton of time and we were guaranteed a high quality end to end experience. Other key benefits of Ru's: 1. The venue is available the entire wedding day which provides a lot of flexibility 2. There is a beautiful, 3-bedroom cottage on the properties that was perfect for getting ready 3. Unlike vineyards, this property has all the perks of a vineyard (oversees a vineyard) but also allows all types of alcohol (not just beer and wine) 4. The design of the space and the transition between different phases of the day (ceremony, reception, dancing, etc) was seamless This venue is a rare treasure, I would certainly suggest snatching a date before they are all gone.
