HORRIBLE!!! Went here yesterday only out of desperation because their employees are always rude and never helpful. After checking out they say transaction was not successful and to re-enter my card, I do...looks the same and they say ok, it went through. I checked my bank right away and sure enough I was charged twice. Went back and they REFUSED to refund one of the two charges. Then I get emails saying "tender has been denied"...ummmm funny because the money is gone from my bank TWICE still today. Calling my bank and not wasting my time trying to make it right with them. Don't waste your time with these rude incompetent little girls. read more

I had an excellent experience shopping here yesterday. The salesperson that helped us was named Erika, and they had a great energy. I am a little bit on the heavier side, so shopping at certain retailers can be very nerve wracking. Erika helped me find the appropriate size for me. The employees also noticed that I was carrying a lot of items and offered to hang them up for in the dressing room, which was a great touch! Kate was our checkout person, and they were also excellent. read more

Went into the fitting room to try on clothes (number 8) and I saw a cockroach underneath the bench, visible enough to be seen when I walked in!!!If it wasn't bad enough... the store is super HOT. Clearly this place is unsanitary and the has poor working conditions. Seems like the only good thing about this place right now is that they are following CDC guidelines... still unacceptable. She picked out a few things and when we went to try things on, we find out that they close the fitting rooms an entire hour early. 50 minutes to go before they close and the fitting rooms are closed?? I went here with my friend in hopes to find her the perfect prom dress. I had been here previously and the selection was not great, but they honestly had a lot to choose from this time. Going through the racks I noticed that many of the dresses were dirty; many of them were snagged as well. However, the prices are affordable so we chose to ignore it. The store carries many different sizes, but it does not look it. My friend is a size small, so I go to grab her a dress I think looks good and it looks about her size... I check the tag to see that it's a size large. Many of them are like this and it just shocked me. We did find many dresses for her to try on, I felt bad because one of the teen girls working there looked very overwhelmed but was still very friendly and sweet (I wish I got her name.) However, another teen girl who works there comes up halfway through the trying on process, probably to switch with the other girl, and she just has a downright nasty attitude. Unlike the other girl, she is not helpful and looks like she doesn't want to be there. We didn't end up finding a dress for my friend because there was nothing she fell in love with. I just wish the experience could have been more welcoming. read more

As I returned a dress with tags and a receipt she loudly announced to the other sales associates "To be prepared because we are taking a loss today" with the $30 dress return I was making. What a joke. I had already planned on picking up a few outfits at the store after I made my return but I definitely took my business else where. I will never shop at this store again. This is the second time I've dealt with a rude sales associate at this store. Please do a better job at hiring sales associates. The dress I wanted had snags on it and it seems strange to me that this store didn't offer a damaged discount. Seems weird to pay full price for a damaged dress. Letty was so sweet and helpful, she helped me find a skirt that I desperately been looking for in other stores that didn't have it. The manager Erica was also super friendly and sweet. I would like to give Amabel a huge shoutout for helping me find the perfect dress for an upcoming event. She was so kind and patient with me as I was trying on about 20 different dresses. She helped me narrow it down to just a couple and even got me shoes to try on (I forgot my heels at home) and different sizes of dresses since I never know what size I am. I loved her willingness to provide excellent customer service. Because of her, I will be back to Windsor and I know I will have a blast at my event in my pretty, sparkly dress. Thanks again! I would like to say that I want to give Teegan 5 stars for and I mean ONLY HER customer service. But, I'm giving 1 star because I know that companies like Windsor pay attention to online reviews and hopefully someone will see this and do something about it. I've been in this store quite a few times due to inventory that this store has. There aren't a lot of other dress stores in the mall. I would just go in and deal with the girl's bad attitudes. One day back in August I came in and a very nice girl named Teegan greeted me and helped me with trying on dresses. She was polite, friendly, and helpful. She was the first and only nice person I've seen at Windsor. I have frequented Windsor a lot. Meghan has a horrible attitude there. I've also noticed that the store has dresses on display with small stains on them that are easy to miss. Why do so many employees seem like they hate their job? Anyways, this store is full of rude employees. Teegan has been the only nice girl so far and not only do most of the employees seem rude to customers, they seem rude to each other. read more

I don't normally write a review, but this store has THE worst customer service. Every time I've shopped here, I have encountered the rudest employees ever. Today, I had the cashier (Stephanie) literally throw me my bag instead of handing it to me. No one watches the fitting rooms and then they catch an attitude with you when you ask to try something on. I tried to do a return with the manager that wears the big hats and runs around the store huffing and puffing, she has an attitude and goes on the walkie and says "ugh we have ANOTHER return." I honestly rather just drive all the way to North County than shop at the Carlsbad Windsor. This review is based on my customer experience with Jasmeen. I have been meaning to do this review for about a month now. I came in very eager to look for a dress for the Marine Corps ball with it being 2 weeks away. Many stores were already cleaned out including this one since it is ball season. Many dresses left were only big sizes and I was afraid I wouldn't find one. She was very helpful in assisting me with a fitting room. Ofcourse the only dress that fit me was one with a few snags on it and a small tear. I asked if they could do a discount bc if the damage. She was kind enough to place it on hold for me for the day as I kept looking in other places and ended up coming back for it. When I came back for it I asked about the discount and she was able to get it approved by her manager. She was very patient with me and helpful and I really appreciate it! So thank you very much Jasmeen! If I could recommend a few things. Before I was able to purchase a few dresses online, try them on at home and return the ones that didn't fit for a refund. However now they say, it has to be returned through the online process. I find that very inconvenient as a customer bc they do offer many more dresses online, and either way it looked like your store could use more dresses in store while I was shopping for the ball. Most people I know, came here to do their ball gown shopping anyways. Another thing. At the register they always ask if you want to join their loyalty program and that you get a gift for your birthday. Well, I've been a part of that program, I do receive emails but it's never anything but an invite to come shop. My birthday just passed and all I got was an e-mail that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY and that's it. No coupon or anything. If I could give this Windsor at the Carlsbad shoppes a zero I would. The customer service here is absolutely god awful! They have the rudest most unhappy girls working there! I have been shopping at Windsor for years and for a loyal customer to be treated as if you're burdening the staff there is absolutely horrendous. I had my mother help me get a dress on and the girls there so rudely stood right against the door yelling at my mother to get out. I have had multiple experiences where these girls that work at this location are snotty and make the whole experience uncomfortable . They are super catty and always talking bad about customers right by us. Terrible costumer service. When I was going to try on a dress, no one was there so I decided to go in into the fitting room. I helped myself since I wasn't going to stand there because clearly no one was offering help. Instead, they decided to talk and fool around! What a shame. One of the employees decided to kick out my friend from the dressing room and then was going to call security because we were both in the same stall. I was just trying to get an opinion which I don't see the problem to begin with. She then proceeded to give me dirty looks as I exited the fitting room and was calling my friend insulting names when I wasn't there. This is not how you should treat someone who is shopping at the store. Both of the girls should be fired and need to clearly have a smile because it seems like they are having a bad day. Wouldn't wanna come back here if I'm expecting to be treated like this every time. Not worth my money and time!
