I was looking for another window cleaning company on yelp and came across the reviews for Windowsmith. I just have to chime in and I don't think I have written a review before. I have used them for years to clean 2 homes on the property. When the guys showed up they wanted to charge me over $900.00. Last year they charged me 760.00 which was higher than the year before. I also told them there was no furniture in the guest house. The guy stated he couldn't lower the price for that house. Long story short. The office tried to call me back to give me a discount, but I'm just not going to do business with a company that I had done business with for years, who come and try to price gouge me. read more

We had the windows/screens cleaned today on our two story house and all I can say WOW! The Windowsmith team of Chrissy and Eduardo came today and my windows are sparkling! They were both very professional and I've never had my windows cleaned so well and in such a short (1.4 hrs) time. Chrissy did the interior windows and was very mindful of health measures (mask, booties). Chrissy informed me that she could re-mesh some screen windows/door which had been needing repair. Yesterday we had a fabulous job completed by Chrissy and Jamie from Windowsmith. I was home with my three little guys (all under 5) and was a little worried it might be difficult for them to get the windows cleaned inside. This is mostly because of all the toys my boys play with and the small spaces near the windows. However, this was definitely not an issue for them to get the job done. Not only were these two women professional and focused on getting the job done with out a hassle for me, but it was also Jamie's very first house! I could only tell when she asked Chrissy for advice on a window screen that was pretty stuck in the frame. They also helped me out with a few screens that my boys had put holes in (apparently Legos like the outdoors too) and took them for repair. I will be getting them back today. Anthony, Josh, and Juan! I want to thank you for the excellent job that you did cleaning my windows and screens at 1922 Barbaresco in Trilogy. All 3 of you were conscientious, careful and very thorough about doing the job. I think it would be a good idea to inform prospective customers that you charge by the PANE of Glass, not by each entire window. You counted 38 WINDOWS in my house, but they are all PANES, NOT WHOLE WINDOWS. I don't think that the clerk that answered the phone and my questions really told me the real story - about how to count the number of PANES so that I could understand the charge. She said the estimate was $149 with free screen cleaning, but Josh counted panes when he arrived and told me that it would cost $259. That is quite a jump from $149. Anthony was training a new employee and we received a deal we couldn't refuse. Both workers were so polite and tried to disturb us as little as possible. This is the second time we have used Windowsmith. Can't be happier!!! They called to remind us it's been a year and we set up an appointment. I was given a price over the phone including their coupon discount which was amazing because I didn't have a coupon!!! They ask for cash or check. Jordan and Taylor arrived promptly in the window of time given to us. They wore masks, gloves, overalls, very neat and clean. Told us the plan and went to work. I give Windowsmith four stars for window cleaning, but one star for screen replacement. I have used Windowsmith for many years to clean my windows. Their team is always courteous, clean and does a great job. I have been a happy customer. So I decided to try them to re-screen my screens -- which dropped my opinion of them greatly. In fact, based on how they handled the issue that arose, I'll no longer be using them for rescreening or window cleaning. They created 4 new window screens for me, and did a nice job of it. But one of my Anderson Door sliders (for which they kept my frame and just re-screened it), was ruined and the other was visibly damaged. When they came back, there were deep scratches in the frame that removed the white paint. I now have really visible dark black marks on my white screen frames which cannot be repainted or cleaned. They will have to be replaced. While it may be understandable that they transported the screens without protecting the edges, what is inexcusable to me is the conversation with Windowsmith that followed. There was no "we're sorry" or "we'll make it right" or even an attempt to listen to the issue. The entire conversation was an argument about how it was impossible for Windowsmith to have damaged the frames. Really? You throw them in the back of a flatbed and there is "no chance" they will be damaged? In fact, they wanted to take my screens back again as hostage for full payment. NEVER use Windowsmith for screen replacement. And NEVER let anyone take your screens offsite. There are plenty of mobile services available that can make on-site repairs (and which I have used). My mistake this time. I thought that a company that was good at one thing would probably be ok at another. I was wrong. The customer accepts all the risk in this arrangement. Windowsmith has now lost both my window cleaning AND my screen business.....as well as that of my neighborhood HOA - for which neighbors post "use" and "don't use" vendors. read more

All the time owner takes to write review he could have made customer "satisfied" with their work and tried to get the screen door back on. Team leader had no idea to which opening the door went. Screen door still is off thanks to Windowsmith and I do not have my screens at all. They took them back!! Great, I have worked with MANY companies who work hard to do right by their customers and this is not one of them. I now have a broken screen door and no screens in my house. 25% of my windows are sparkling clean thanks to Windowsmith. Here's the push back. They gave me a quote over the phone. In my case it was estimated to be $299. A little more than we have paid others for complete window cleaning services, but with the holidays approaching and availability I enthusiastically agree to these terms. For context, I answered the person providing the phone quote that we had an interior courtyard with large windows in our one story home and divided light windows. Gave her our address (assuming she was accessing Google Earth during our conversation) and very accurately estimated our square footage at 2,800. Imagine my shock when they arrived and their walk around jumped the price to $740.00. My heart rate still hasn't returned to normal! End result...very nice young lady and her companion washed maybe 25% of my most needy windows for nearly $300. One hour, 20 minutes start to finish. Wow. read more

We've been using them for about 3 years now (no idea why I haven't "yelped" them before) but they are amazing. They do our 2-story house INCLUDING THE SCREENS in one hour for 1/2 the price my neighbors pay using another company. They leave absolutely no mess, are unobtrusive in your home and when they go, your windows are sparkling clean.
