I wish I had a great experience with Windows and Glass. They seem to be a company to complete really great projects, but unfortunately they did not show up or answer to complete the one they scheduled with me. I really hate to write terrible reviews, but this review is important for anyone with time constraints and is seeking someone to cut glass tile. I have been messaging back and forth with this company for help cutting a glass tile for a backsplash project. The messaging was because their voice mailbox was always full, and it's impossible to find people who will cut glass tile. Nonetheless I carved out time in my work schedule to be home on a weekday since they informed me that they charge more hourly on the weekends. After finally scheduling a weekday appointment at 12pm to have them complete the glass tile project, 30 mins went by my appointment time and there was no call or text. I gave them a call at 12:30pm. After picking up, they informed me that they were currently completing a project and would give me a call back in 5 minutes. They never called me back. After a half hour I gave them a call back, and my call was immediately forwarded to a voice message box that was full. I called two more times and same thing happened. I understand that events may pop up, however the lack of responses and communication were unprofessional and the actions from this business make it very apparent that they do not respect their customer's time. read more

After that, he simply ghosted me without any further communication despite myself reaching out multiple times for a confirmation. Truly unprofessional. Looks like a repeat offense for this business. There are times and situations when trusted service really matters. Your screen door window being broken in an attempted home robbery during a pandemic... that is one of them. I found Sam on Yelp and he was able to respond within hours. But it was even better than that. When Sam realized, just as he was doing the install, that that they sent him non-tempered glass (a detail I would NEVER have realized) he immediately notified me, temporarily installed the glass he had and returned promptly to install the proper replacement. I called Windows and Glass to get a quotation for rescreening several screens that had been snagged and damaged by my pet or my yard man. Sallem, the owner, returned my call and offered to come to my home to look at the screens. He came the next day and determined that the frames were in good shape and that he could do a rescreen within 24 hours and return them back to me by Sunday. That's what he did! The screens looked great, and he was even willing to rehang them for us. Sallem was very professional and kept to his commitment of turning around the project quickly. First appointment he never showed up until I called him and he said he was too busy and he would come the next morning but once again he didn't show until 5 pm. He installed one window, then was installing the slider and it was the wrong color even though he knew we wanted black and it was the wrong screen material, then he tried removing the larger window and apparently he didn't measure it correct, he cracked the window and promised to order a new screen slider and the window. He said it would take two weeks. Well, after 4 weeks he promised and promised it would arrive but it never did. He the. promised to reimburse us for the window and the screen but now he won't reply. I have all of his texts. Now, we are going to contest the charge. Our realtor is also ceasing recommending him for any jobs as well as other agents. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a company. Sam the owner is extremely deceitful, unethical, and the biggest unscrupulous liar I've ever met in my life. He is an amazing talker and salesman but a con man who is not qualified to be in business in my opinion. STAY AWAY. I hired this man in March of 2023 to replace the glass in my front window. It's 09/22/23, and he still hasn't corrected his horrible work and damage. I fired him today, I had enough with the abuse and lack of professionalism and endless lies, empty promises and unprofessional work. More than half a year of his excuses! to change glass in a single front window at one home. The man is not qualified. He kept missing install appointments, excuse after excuse. Worse he does not know what he is doing. My window is a big triangle glass at the top, bottom is a large middle portion with glass on the 2 doors that open. First appointment the measurement of the large window at the bottom was wrong, needs to re-oder. Next appointment he breaks glass while installing, and does not bring the top triangle. Mind you he would ghost me not answer me for weeks, or constantly miss appointments and I had to chase after him every single time to see if the glass had arrived. Something by the way which took 1 week, but he kept me waiting so long. He never once called, I had to chase after him every single instance and he'd say oh yeah, your glass is here. 3rd appointment he orders glass that is way too for the top window. I also tell him the bottom window sinked and the seal is not attached, gaps. He blames the measurement on his employee, but he measured it. 4th issue with size again, I had told him I also needed screens replaced. The man does not order them, he makes them out in the yard. He riddles my entire yard with sharp dangerous metal corners of metal frames. The end result is a horrible looking glued together screen that looked absolutely awful. When i gently pushed the mesh in the screen, it became loose. Another instance he took out top window and his worker shatters it on the back of a their truck but the glass flies all over my yard and the street. I had no clue until I went out and saw the mess. I had to spend an entire day on hands and knees collecting these dangerous shards both from metal screens and the glass. Then he orders window glass with wrong grids again, then orders the glass that is too big. The old window was perfect size, normal frame. Then he tells me a glass had arrived but his worker broke it at the shop. Then he got sick, then one thing, then another and another and excuse after excuse. Then he orders a glass that is waaaay too large not even close. He has damaged my window frame, would scrape the old seal after each mistake and leave all that garbage in my yard. This man can't measure a window or install glass to save his life. I could go on and on. He also bragged how easy it was to break into people's homes, the levers in most windows is easy to open according to him, and that he could come in through the windows if I wasn't yet home for one appt. Just a random but shady comment. The last time he had gotten the glass wrong again I told him enough was enough, and he apologized and agreed his work was horrible. He agreed to fix it and finally installing it, make everything right, would not charge me for the second payment, basically 50% off. Mind you he kept us with a window that has gaps and air comes in, you can see the border of the glass. If it rains water will come inside immediately. He still hasn't fixed the large bottom window whose seal is not even attached and which sunk. The top window is atrocious with grids that don't line up to windows. Then today he says he's on his way at 9am, every single time i've had to move things and wait for him, he's always late. Today at 12pm however I had enough, he was 3 hours late and probably never coming. I called him and asked for refund. He agreed but then ghosted me after I asked him when he'd refund me the first payment. read more

We recently had a break in, and we needed our commercial building fixed quick. Fallen helped us out, and responded promptly. It was almost Christmas, and we wanted it done before the holidays, so we asked if he could get it done before then. Although it was only a couple of days away, he told us he was able to do it by then. We got an estimate the night we called, he came in the next day for measurements, got the template done in 2 days or so, then came to put the glass in on the 24th. Since our glass was arched and not all that even, Fallen had to go back to get it reshaped a couple of time. This delayed the process, but to fulfill his promise, he came on Christmas Day to get it done. He spent about 4 hours of his Christmas here helping us get our windows fixed. We're so thankful, and he did such a good job! Definitely 5 stars. read more

Sam is a very irresponsible and careless person. I made an appointment with him to meet him at his shop and confirmed the appointment. I drove 15 miles and set away other works despite I was extremely busy but his shop was closed and he didn't show up. I called him, he relaxedly telling me that he is busy and normally not meeting customers at his shop, then why you made an appointment with me in the first place and why you didn't call me ahead of time to inform me you won't be there. No excuses are accepted other than he is irresponsible and careless to his customers. Stay away from him. read more

When W&G were slightly delayed, they called to let me know - which was greatly appreciated. Saleem and one of his guys arrived at the revised time, and fixed the window in about 45 minutes. Cleaned up the mess very well. Excellent service. I'd post a much better review except for one issue - partly my own fault too - as I did not request an estimate prior to the work beginning. That was an error. The total for a 2 x 2 foot single pane clear glass window was more than $400, and even allowing for weekend work, that seems excessive. Other than that - W&G was great. I did get my receipt from Sammel, but it took me to write a yelp review for him to give me a receipt. I have since had to have another window contractor (licensed) come out, because within 2 days after him "fixing" it, the gaps reappeared. I'm sad that he did not give me any kind of a "warranty" of work or anything. I have also had the general contractor's workers take a look at the windows. They rescrewed on the screws, used their lubricators to make sure the windows were gliding smoothly. I'm grateful that my general contractor's workers were there. He's a nice guy, but no, I still would not recommend him, but thank you finally for the receipt. I wish you had responded to my e-mails sooner. Thank you. read more
