We purchased a home in September 2024 that had window nation's lifetime warranty windows. Shortly after closing on the home, we contacted window nation because one of the windows had a crack in it and needed the glass replaced. In October 2024 I paid the warranty transfer fee and scheduled a service call for the window replacement. Shortly thereafter, we noticed none of the windows would open or close fully. On December 3, 2024 a service tech arrived to replace the glass and evaluate the windows. The service tech stated that the windows wouldn't open or close fully because they were left open for so long by the previous homeowner, and a specific part of the windows and before they were able to come out to finish repairing the windows, I got a call on December 23, 2024 stating that "their original measuring photos shows that there was support in the sun room under the windows, but that the support was removed and that voids the warranty". I then requested photos for proof, and I was sent 2 photos. Fortunately for us, those photos show that the support underneath the windows remains unchanged since they were installed. There has been ZERO change to the structure and support of the windows. I then sent them the original listing photos which proves that the support being referenced are the beams which hold up the addition entirely and shows no changes. Once Kelvonne King and Dominique Smith received the information, they said they can't help me anymore and I need to talk to a manager. You can only try calling a manager, after several calls and voicemails I still have not been able to reach Chavis Robinson (manager). We had a new sliding glass door installed in late spring of 2024(I don't remember the exact date). The blind in between the window did not go all the way down. The installer try to fix it by taking a hammer and screwdriver and hitting the slide stop to try to move it up, slightly damaging the vinyl. That didn't work, so they put in a service request that day. When service called me several days later, they said they wanted to send a specific repair person that would come out in about two weeks. I wish I could remember his name because he knew exactly what was going on with the blind. He told me the door panel would need to be replaced. Fine, six weeks later I get the new panel installed by two new people, who told me that it was taking a while to take the bad panel out because none of the installer do things the same way. But it was installed and everything was fine. Then on July 31st my wife went to open the screen door and the handle broke in her hand. It is just an L shaped piece of plastic with two screws holding it on. It broke where the screw holes are. So I called customer service right away. Since it was a Saturday I was told someone would call me in 48 to 72 hours. I called back on Wednesday afternoon and was told they were just going to call me, OK. The person on the phone sent me an email while I was on the phone with her to take picture of the broken handle handle. I acknowledged that I received the email. As soon as I ended the phone call I took picture of the handle and replied to the email with the pictures. The email said I would receive conformation of the photos. With a power outage and vacation today, August 16th, is the first time I thought to call them to say, I did NOT receive a conformation of the photos sent. I was told the part is on order and they will let me know when it comes in. The part is a small piece of plastic, you can't tell me that the place they assemble the doors doesn't have any in stock. I'm for the most part happy with the door itself. I am very unhappy with the customer service. I wonder what will happen if we have a larger problem. because of the service I CANNOT recommend this Company to anyone. read more

Stay away. $10,000 for windows not worth even half of that. If I could rip them out and return them I would. The windows are poorly made and as others have said customer service is a joke. They say lifetime warranty on parts and screens its half true. You get the screen itself not new frames then they want to charge you for labor to glue yes glue new screens on. To take the screens out you have to push on the screen to bend the frame to get it out. Well when you do that guess what the screen rips off the frame. The screen material itself is thin and flimsy. I've ripped it by just pushing on it. The windows themselves are poor quality. After installation half the locks didn't work or the latches fell off . One window the spring mechanism that assist in opening fell apart and the window literally fell out. I had to tape it in place for almost a month before they came to fix it. When you open the windows the tops almost always slide down some. So when you close it you have to shove up on the top part of the window and push down on the bottom part to be able to latch them. I will say the installation team was great. They did an amazing job putting the windows in. It was done in a timely and professional manner. They didn't even mind my kids following them around watching them work. read more

I would never use Window Nation again. Their customer service is terrible, one of the managers I dealt with was so rude. They claim they have a lifetime warranty on parts but if you have an issue with a window they charge you $100 to come out then say that is not covered. My bedroom windows have so much water that comes in when it is cold out. They said that is just condensation but they cannot explain why this does not happen in the rest of my house where I luckily used a different company to replace those windows when we got new siding. They also claim to give a referral to you if you refer someone, well my neighbor used them and gave our name but of course we received nothing. read more

They did a great job for me four years ago so I thought I would try them again. This time it took several attempts to reach them once they knew I only wanted two windows. They priced them out at almost $400.00 more then the three larger windows they had previously replaced. When I asked about the Buy one get one sale they told me I had to buy four to get the deal! We were looking to just get estimates for a project - shopping around. We felt very pressured to commit from the salesperson, even though we literally requested a FREE estimate and weren't ready to start a project. Overall, we thought the project was waaaayyy overpriced and weren't even shown any catalogs of options. He didn't even go outside to look at the area we wanted worked on and missed an electrical outlet that would possibly have to be removed - wouldn't this cost us more?? Salesperson just wrote down a number on a piece of notebook paper and passed it to us thinking we'd just accept the offer. Old sales tactics were used - he had to "call and see if his manager can help the numbers" and offered us a $300 rebate. After, I asked for a SEPERATE quote for two windows to be replaced, he said they could do the original project, PLUS the two windows, for the original price. That's not what I asked for.... Also you're telling me that two of your VERY high-quality windows are worth $300? Just old-school door-to-door salesmen tactics... You're not selling vacuums or knives, you're selling windows...change your sales pitch. Talk to me like a real person and show me a catalog with pricing options. He also implied that if we didn't commit that day, he wouldn't get credit for a future sale. A guilt trip!? Not my problem - get a different job where your pay is guaranteed. Thought it was a little overkill when they called 3 times a day, for days, after filling out an form online. Same thing after they visited our home. If I'm interested, I'll get back to you. I hate, hate, hate companies that operate like this and tell their salespeople to be this way. Window nation isn't the only company that does this. Jeremy D. was our in home design consultant. My wife and I had a really great time with the presentation and thought we were ready to pull the trigger and purchase 23 Windows plus a picture window, from Window Nation. We were impressed with the Imperial LS, double pane window, the only window that was demonstrated for us during the presentation. The original price we were given was laughable but we understood that this was part of the game. (Sorta felt like an old school used car sales pitch ). The price went from $43,000 down to $24600, including discounts. Finally after some haggling we were quoted $19,***? We politely let Jeremy know we would need a night to think it all through. Our next step was a call from Window Nation sales rep, Jane. Very polite and professional, she said we could purchase all of the Windows for $15,000. We were thrilled...until we found the price quoted was for a lesser quality window, The Ultra View, as she said,"was the window on the purchase order." We were a little confused. THE ONLY window we saw during the presentation was the Imperial LS. Period! The only sales booklets we were given were for the Imperial LS Windows. So, we were thinking, maybe a "bait and switch" The red flags started going up! Jane was kind, professional and patient as we worked through the confusion. Her bottom line price was $19*** for the Imperial LS. Even though we were more than a little skeptical, we had her run the credit and see what the final damage was going to be. We have the money to pay for these windows in cash but wanted to weigh all of our options. Settle for the midline window for $15,000 or pay a little extra for the Imperial LS? In the end we decided to receive quotes from other companies. WN really needs to upgrade the sales process. There were red flags, an uneasy feeling, miscommunications and we were uncomfortable with the post presentation process. Jane wanted a decision quickly. My wife and I were not very comfortable with the way the sale was being handled. We asked for a rep from the company to come back out to the house and bring back both windows, for comparison. Apples to apples. She said it wasn't possible. Customer service? If this was the pre sales customer service...what could we expect post sale? Strange experience to say the least! My patio door experience was almost perfect. The sales rep, Mike, was great and pricing was competitive after a manufacturer's rebate. He also helped me decide whether I really wanted between-the-pane blinds (I decided against them.) The installers were polite and professional, and were done in only about 2 hours. It was a rainy day, and plastic was put down on the inside living room floor, but not on my outside deck. After the installers left, I re-swept the deck after it dried, and there were a few blobs of caulk that had to be scraped off (and didn't come completely off) plus I discovered a tiny puncture in the screen (for which a work order has been placed). Already I have been enjoying the way the heat of the sun has been blocked so effectively, and also enjoying the lovely clear view through my new glass. read more

This company is terrible. I have a house I own as rental property. I called to get a quote on replacing the patio door. They stated that their company had "minimum requirements" for rental properties, which a patio door did not meet and they refused to give a quote. Its terrible that they differentiate between owners and landlords and obviously don't think my money is as good as anyone else's. I will never consider this company for any windows, ever. read more

We got an estimate from Window Nation on a patio door. The sales rep was knowledgeable and seemed to be honest in his presentation. The pitch is a bit much and takes longer than it really needs to, showing all of the review ratings, stars, etc, etc, etc. The product does seem to be good though and although we've not yet purchased from them I would feel comfortable enough to have them install at my home. read more

This company is a joke. High pressure sales man driving up and down the street picking out select homes to stop at. Did not make any difference that I have multiple "NO SOLICITING" signs well posted at my property. Guy stoped and parked in front of the house and proceeded to cut across my lawn to get to the front door. I was working in garage and he did not notice me until I came up behind him on the front porch and ask what he was doing. He started his sales pitch when I interrupted him and ask if he had noticed the "NO SOLICITING" signs to which he replied he was not a solicitor but a salesman. As I told him to get of the property he started to walk back across the grass at which point I ask him to walk on the sidewalk to which I got a one finger salute from him. Window Nations did a wonderful job on our windows from beginning to end. Tony Miralia was great at helping us find the windows that would meet our homes needs, and at a great price. The instillation crew did an amazing job. We had a few of the original windows left in our our house (circa 1947). What a difference the new windows have made already. We had a Window Nation rep out this past Thursday for a free estimate for a sliding glass door and two windows. He looked at everything, measured, plugged it into his iPad and came back with $6498 to replace them. BUT....here it comes...If you commit right now we can get you down to $4640 because the Homeshow order is going in Monday. Holy crap...what a freaking deal. We thanked the in home rep who was very polite and personable and he said a sales manager would email us a quote the following day. The next day (Friday) we get the email from sales manager Jeff Naughton with the original price and if we commit before Monday when the order goes in we can get the reduced price. Out of curiosity I emailed back asking for an itemized quote. Like any good consumer I want to know the cost breakdown between product and installation. Where specifically is my money going? How did you come up with the first number and then how you are able to give an amazing discount if we commit by Monday. I don't think this is unreasonable and if you ask me, I think this whole process is shady. It's like they come in, size you up, and say "I think we can get X amount of dollars out of these people" and then hit you with the giant discount price to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Show me how you come up with these numbers. The truth is, I would feel better if you sat down with your pen and paper or iPad and showed me physical evidence that it takes X amount for manufacturing product and X amount for installation. However if they actually did this I think people's heads would spin off and they would see they are being ripped off. That's probably why they don't. read more

I am very pleased with Window Nation. The representative that came to give me an estimate was very respectful and informative. He knew his product very well and answered all of my questions. He explained all my options and wasn't pushy to sell me a package. The installers were on time and finished when they said they would. They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They explained everything they did and showed me how to work the windows, as well as, explaining my warranty. This company knows their business. They leave no room for doubt and no question unanswered. I would highly recommend Window Nation. Nice job, guys!!! read more

If you are looking for Windows I suggest you DO NOT use Window Nation. They have horrible Customer Service and do NOT stand behind their warranty!! I have had nothing but problems with the windows in my home since I bought it. One of the perks of buying my home was that the windows had been recently updated by the owners. Shortly after I moved in I started having problems with the window in my bedroom that would not open easy or stay open once it did open. Apparently one of the coils snapped. When I called Window Nation with my warranty in hand they refused to come out unless I paid another $800 to have the warranty transferred to my name even though I had the warranty (which didn't even have the previous owners name on it). I owned the house and the windows and the windows were only a couple of years old. They were rude and one customer service rep even hung up on me. I called back and even offered to buy a new window and they said it would cost me $1,000 just to have someone come out and look at it. I've contacted other companies/repairman to fix it and no one will touch them because they are Window Nation windows. They also told me that it's unheard of not to honor a warranty because of new ownership. So until I can afford to replace all of the windows in my house I am stuck with a faulty window that will not open all the way or stay open without propping a can in it. This company is a joke, they want your money and do NOT stand behind their product or warranty!! Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced!! You will be very sorry if you purchase windows from this company! read more

Last year we hired Window Nation to install a custom built 15' sliding door in our Florida room -- along with three new oversized slider windows. We also had standard sliding door replaced in our bedroom. All of the products and install/finish are top shelf quality. We actually used the Florida room this past winter... the door and windows made that much of a difference in energy efficiency. This year Window Nation completed the replacement of another round of 11 windows. The look is amazing and clean. We get compliments from our neighbors all the time. Next year we will complete the house with the few that remain. We are happy to say we have WIndow Naiton windows in our house. A fantastic investment. read more

DO NOT SHOP WITH WINDOW NATION!!! If I could rate them a zero or lower I would. Our experience with them has been a complete joke, only it's not funny anymore. I first called Window Nation to set up an appointment for a consultation and when they finally called me to schedule it was always during my work hours which they would leave a message and I would call them back within minutes only to be told there's only 2 people in that department who can schedule consultations and they are busy or away and will call me back. I'll admit they would call me back but again I was at work so I couldn't answer it and this cycle of playing phone tag went on for a week until finally when I called back I asked the lady nicely to please put me on hold until they came back and I would wait so I could make sure to get scheduled. She then proceeded to yell at me and tell me my schedule was not her problem and that I would just have to figure it out and put me on hold then picked up and hung up on me. When we finally were able to schedule a consultation 2 weeks later, we had also scheduled one with Universal windows back to back because we were so upset with how we were treated already at Window Nation. The first person who was scheduled to come out for a consultation never showed up and never called and when we tried to call them we received no answer and they didn't call us back until the next day to apologize. However, the second rep that came was extremely nice and spent time going over everything with us in detail and assuring us that they didn't use outside contractors and they were better than Universal and had the best windows and were quicker, etc. Although the rep also was slightly unprofessional because he just kept saying we were labeled a problem customer already and bad mouthing Universal (which their rep did not do to Window Nation) and showing us non stop videos on his ipad. Finally the day comes to get our windows installed and guess what?! It's an outside contractor which our rep told us specifically they didn't use. A father and son who own their own company and tell us that they do work for everyone including Home Depot, etc. Then two of our windows were not measured correctly, one was too big and they had to knock out some of the trim to get it to fit, the other was too small and had a gap over an inch in it and had to be foamed on the sides to fix. Not to mention they completely left off one of our windows and when we called tried to tell us it was our fault and too bad and if we wanted one we would have to pay full price for it. Also our bathroom window was to be obscured glass and was not. We have since spent the last month or more contacting them to get these issues resolved only to be given the run around and promises of everything will be fine. My favorite call was the "supervisor" who called to ask if we could "pitch in" on the cost of the window they forgot. Are you kidding me?! Well today we will be getting that window installed and when we called to make sure they had the new corrected obscured window for the bathroom that they had previously told us they put a service in for we were told nothing was ever put in for it and now we have to wait until February for that to be fixed. We have been dealing with them since October. 5 months it will take to complete our windows and it has been nothing but unprofessionalism, rudeness, and mistakes that no one cares to resolve since day one. I wish we could just rip out all the windows and start over with Universal. If you've read this whole post, please go to Universal or ANYONE else for that matter. read more

I just had window nation install 2 windows and a patio sliding door. i was a little worried about how the install would go even if you do your homework trying to find the right company to do the job you never know who they will send to do the install. i was told the installers would be there between 8 & 10 they were there at 8:30 it took 30 min. for them to get set up and a 5 minute walk through to set a game plan. after that was an experience i wasn't expecting these guys got busy removing the old windows we soon realized this job was a whole lot bigger than expected by window nation or myself. lots of rotted wood slowed down progress but these guys pushed through it and went above and beyond what i ever expected from a window company replacing as much wood as possible and explaining why this happened as they worked. ralph rijos and raphael did a fantastic job some of the best work i have ever seen. i would recommend window nation to my friends ,and would also recommend asking for these guys to do the job. after my experience with these guys i am considering calling window nation back to replace the remaining old windows but only if they send the same install team they were knowledgeable and professional and also able to answer all my questions along the way and showed great respect for me and my home. good people doing good work call window nation you won't regret it. read more

so, I just took over my grandmother bills and discovered she installed 4 windows from this company a few months back, yes she did do this on her own and she is 83 years old, I discovered she was charged 3700.00 for three bedroom windows and one basement. two windows were 47 wide and 35H high and one 47 wide and 34H. when I called the salesman on this he told me that these windows were standard price and comparable with other companies.. he also sent me a copy of the contract and of course no break down of the cost of the windows was even on it! How can one bedroom window cost over 900.00 each? really? well I did check and he was wrong! anyone that would walk into that house would know she is not rich and the house is not in great shape! I can now see this company is only out for the commission money! elderly make an easy mark!! when I called a manager to ask about the bill, he would not even get on the phone to explain this!! shame on this company and the salesman!! If you are in the market for windows please call a company like universal windows direct!
