I got 6 windows replaced in my house. The quality of the windows themselves are OK. The install experience was a bit odd. They subcontracted it out after telling me they don't use subs and the installer kept having his GF bring him stuff was in and out of my house all day. Then they didn't even replace the framing in one of my bathroom windows that I was 99% sure has some mold. A window lock broke shortly after installing and it took me multiple tries to get a hold of someone to get it fixed. It got done eventually but not what I was expecting for over $1,000/window. read more

Don't bother with this company. Our experience with their windows, installation and customer service is below one star. The crew left a huge mess- took 3 weeks to get them back to clean up the yard as well as trash left on the roof. Out of approx 12 calls we made to various numbers , ONE call was returned. The little sales boy ignored multiple messages from us after bragging during our sales meeting, that he ignores calls when speaking with potential customers, well, he ignores all calls, name is Jack herbes . 3 windows had broken/ missing/ non working issues, one the screen did not fit- we are now waiting 4-6 weeks for a new one. All in all, poor quality windows, piss poor customer service and sloppy installation. Call elsewhere!!!! so, I posted the above a few hours ago and see now a manger replied and says" call me / us" I will not waste anymore time being bounced around with no real solutions EVER. offered just" we'll get back to you" I will though continue posting negative reviews to hopefully help one other person avoid this horrible company from stringing you along . call elsewhere!!!!! read more

I started with Window Nation last August of 2025; my windows are still not completely finished! I have had to continually advocate for myself and fight with them to get my job done! I have had 3 carpenters and the windows at one time all had to be taken out and redone! I have communicated constantly with their Operation Manager Pablo and tried going thru their customer service support center with no luck at all! As a single woman I have been bullied and lied too and they did not or do not care! I have been lied to, bullied by one of their carpenters and had my windows redone and pulled out 3 times! My trim had to be redone as they wrecked the oak trim in my house! I am having the worst experience ever with window nation. They will not answer the phone. They will not fix their issues. My daughter's window has had issues for 2 years running and now the balancer is broken and the window will not stay open and smashes down dangerously. Our sliding door lets water in. We have water issues with our other windows. Not to mention the windows whistle when the window blows. Nobody will return my calls or help with these issues that we have lifetime warranties on. I had windows installed in May of 2025. Multiple installation issues from Trim, to missing mulling strips, to a broken window lock. I have been trying to get the issues resolved since install, and have been unsuccessful so far. The repair team has been out multiple times, showing up with incorrect parts or no parts at all to finish. I have now been contacting Window Nation corporate - who says they will get back with me after talking with the MSP branch and haven't heard anything. WARNING: If you're planning on scheduling a "free 60 minute in-home consultation," with Window Nation, here are some things to be prepared for: If you are not willing to commit in writing to one of their prices while the salesman is in your house, the consultation is pointless. They have no intention of selling you windows unless you sign a contract during your "free consultation." They told me to dedicate 60 minutes for the consultation. The sales guy was in my house for over 2 hours. Sales guy would not provide any information on manufacturer or model of windows he was quoting me, just the price. The sales guy was super friendly for 75% of the process, but when I wouldn't commit to purchase on the spot, that changed quickly. Once I said no to the ~$35k with "all the discounts price, the salesman said we could do half the house with the windows I wanted, and half with cheaper windows @~$27k. I said I didn't want to commit in writing to anything yet. He said if I didn't commit, the price would jump to over $50k vs. the prices he's able to offer now, because that's what the inside sales staff goes off of. The Inside sales manager and area sales manager reached out the next day offering the same "discounted" prices as Mr. Salesman. Salesman finally offered to do my whole house in the windows I didn't want (clay colored vinyl inside and out) for ~$19k. Once again I declined. Salesman frantically added more "discounts" on top of more "discounts" trying to get me to cave. It was awkward and uncomfortable as he transitioned from the super friendly nice guy that walked into the door, to the frustrated and upset salesman who couldn't make the sale. I wanted this dude out of my house 60 minutes in. The rest of the time was unnecessary suffering for both of us. The salesman kept asking me, "What am I missing?!" He was shaming me for not falling victim to his sales pitch. I again said I'm not committing to anything on paper until I get a couple more estimates. How else would I know if I'm getting a good deal? He again said to just commit, and I have 30 days to find a better deal. He knew I was not committing to any purchase yet, and he kept pushing anyway, for WAY too long. Then he had to start bringing his stuff back to his car. I offered to help, but he refused. I believe it's all part of their sales plan so they have a reason to come back into your house. I could then hear him in my driveway yelling to his boss on the phone that I was "36 years old!" No idea what that was about... If Window Nation had given me an estimate with their best price to compare with competitors, I certainly would have considered them. Instead, the salesman left without giving me any sort of estimate at all besides what was on his tablet. He instead told me to go to Home Depot or Lowe's to get my windows. I was expecting SOMETHING on paper from Window Nation that I could then use to compare with other companies. Instead I received nothing but wasted time and a major headache. This was a terrible experience! I will now purposely go out of my way to NOT give them any of my business, and recommend to others that they avoid them too. I will never allow another "free in-home consultation" from a window company that sends out salesmen paid on commission. I have the dimensions, tell me your best price on the windows I want with installation, and I either hire you or I don't. I'm not sitting through another 2 hour sales pitch only for the salesman to fill my home with negative energy as he struggles to remain civil. It's not a free consultation if I had to sacrifice 2 hours of my life, and suffer through a complete energy drain. Also need to factor in the time I took to make this review, and the fact I now need to spend my PTO in order to recover from this awful experience. After inappropriately placing his hand on my back, the salesman rudely said "I feel sorry for you if you have to sit through more of these!" Mr. Salesman, I'm the one that feels sorry. We had a great experience with Window Nation at the start when we dealt with the design consultant, Angus, and signed a contract. This was in May 2023. But since then our impression has changed. We had signed up for a 0% interest 18 month plan. We were told--and it was written on our work order--that we could then bridge the loan to a 9.99% 120 month plan. Angus assured us this would be no issue. But now Window Nation refuses to abide by this agreement. We sent an email to their finance team and they ignored the part about the 9.99% plan. We pointed out that they didn't address it and it's been silence for a full week since. We're now stuck with a 26.99% loan. That's a rate we never would have agreed to and are very upset. We will never work with Window Nation again and will tell everyone we know to avoid them. read more

We bought 5 windows, 3 of which are sliders. We have a security system with sensors on all door & windows. When the consultant came out to show us the windows & gave us the sales pitch, we told him we wanted to put security sensors on all 5 windows as we have throughout the house. He didn't say there would be any problem with putting the sensors on the 5 windows. The contract was signed. A few days later, a guy came out to measure for the new windows. The windows were installed mid August, 2025. The 2 casement windows were no problem to put the sensors on, however the 3 slider windows have too much movement to put sensors on. Not only that, but the sashes on the 3 slider windows move side to side when the windows are LOCKED! That shouldn't happen. We have slider windows in 2 of our bedrooms. When the windows are locked, the sashes do NOT move on the existing sliders that we've had. We didn't get those bedroom sliders from Window Nation. It's not just a little movement, on the new windows, it's way more than it should be. Then my husband also noticed that the sliders were missing some screws. We called Window Nation to tell them about these issues. My husband explained what the issues were. They said they couldn't get a subcontractor out until Oct. 9th. So much for taking care of existing customers. The subcontractor came out Oct. 9th. He measured the 3 slider windows. Took pictures of them. He asked my husband to move the sashes side to side, while locked, so he can take a video of it. He had screws, but the screws were for another brand of slider window. He said he would call the Blaine, MN location, & speak with them once he went out to his truck. He also said he would bring the pictures & video to the office in Blaine & that we should hear from them the next day. We didn't hear from anyone. On Oct 13th, I called the consultant, Calvin, that came to our home to begin with. I told him what was going on. He gave me his manager's name, Lenny, & number. I called & explained what was going on. Lenny said he would send a text to another department & they would call me tomorrow. Didn't get a phone call. So I thought someone dropped the ball & maybe someone will call on Wed. Oct. 15th. No way. Haven't heard a single word today, Oct. 15th. I don't know why so many companies don't care about customer service once they get paid. We paid Calvin $500.00 down & financed the balanced of over $8000.00. The finance company gave Window Nation the $8099.00. We are the ones who have 18 months to pay the balance. If we pay the finance co. within 18 months, then the interest is waived. It will be paid! The question is when is Window Nation going to do the right thing????? read more

I had windows installed in February. When I got home the color did not at all match. I contacted the salesman and after explaining to him I never heard back. I wrote a review and then I was contacted. I have been trying to get something done but keep getting the run around. Today they called again after I updated my Google review. They said they would contact and nothing. If you have issues don't plan on getting anything done about it. It is April 17 now and still fighting. There are lots of window manufacturers and I would stay away from Window Nation. I will keep you posted as I go. A lawyer might be needed. Wish I could add a picture to show read more

Poor customer service! They route their calls from out of area numbers so if you don't pickup, they leave a call back number which they won't answer or respond to. Had only one window installed which failed the inspection. Poor install leaving moisture to build up between the window and house wood. Had a service tech take pictures and notes, but their system lost them. Had the tech out again, but he didn't have the necessary equipment with him because he had no notes to go by. He made another appointment and then failed to show up. The inspector said if he didn't fail the install that we'd have a hard time getting Window Nation to correct the installation. No truer words! I don't know what happens when the permit runs out and isn't closed. Nice people to talk to but don't believe anyone when they tell you that someone will be calling back because that just doesn't happen! read more

Paid 15,000 for 8 windows, 6 weeks later it's install time, half way through the install I'm notified that only 7 of the 8 windows came in so they can't finish the install until they get the 8th window. I was supposed to have a dinner party this weekend that I had to cancel because now my house looks ghetto missing windows and what not. It's about to snow in two days the 8th window won't be in for another 3 weeks possibly. What a nightmare. Had I have known up front they didn't have all the windows I would have sent them packing until they had all windows in hand so the job could be done right. Instead, I was notified half way through. I knew I should have went with Anderson windows. Don't even think of hiring this company. What a joke. read more

We got 7 windows replaced last fall, and the install seemed legit. Until I rained in my office and my basement (which was freshly remodeled). This is due to half of the windows being installed incorrectly. We called customer service immediately, and were told we would get a call to schedule someone to come out and fix it. 9 days later they finally called. We had to pay someone an emergency call to come out and fix the window we thought was the culprit, since it was such a rainy spring. Well, it turns out they forgot to caulk several of the tops of the windows. Now, no one will return my calls, and my exterior wall has mold showing through and has gotten squishy. We canceled our order for windows the very next day ,due to not having enough of an income to make the monthly payments, had put down a 2000.00 deposit and was told we would get it back within 10 business days, it been over 3 weeks, still no refund,and we keep getting the run around from customer service, no call back,like promised, and they keep passing it off to another department, which has not gotten back to us. I should have seen the signs when he wasn't explaining what i was signing. It wasn't until after when I had asked for a receipt for the deposit he said it would be in my email. I checked it wasn't there. As he was walking out the door he said it would be there in 3-5 business days. That was in the 8th of November. This experience is so humiliating and upsetting how does a what seemed to be reputable company do this. read more

I hate to throw a company under the bus but I need to give my honest feedback so others don't make the same mistake. Our sales guy was awesome! But the installation and quality of windows was not what I was expecting.We've had their service team out multiple times, after install, there was a splatter residue around the outside of each window on our siding that won't come off even after multiple service calls. It just looks so sloppy. each window also had glue smudges all over, it looks so messy. The casing of each window is 6"+ inches around the perimeter so not as much light comes through, I think they all look so strange w such large casing, I truly want my old 30 yr old windows back-They looked so much nicer. These window nation windows have a plastic trim, not what we were sold, also they let in more cold air than our old windows which is the reason why we got them replaced in the first place- we live in MN so winters are harsh. Curious how hot they'll be this summer. Lastly, my patio sliding glass door- the opening is so narrow, a very skinny person with narrow shoulders can't fit through the opening without having to turn sideways. My tray of food can't even get through the opening. Not to mention, the slider keeps getting jammed, I want my old sliding glass door back!! Just overall, I was expecting more for how much we paid. 9 windows and a sliding glass door for 40k. Yikes! Keep researching places, I wouldn't recommend purchasing through this company. read more

BUY LOCAL. This is a national corporation focused on profit, not customer satisfaction. After 3 months of spending multiple days and hours waiting for our installation to be completed the right way, I requested a partial refund to compensate us for our time and aggravation. Pablo, the MN branch manager, verbally agreed that we were due something back. The amount I requested not was unreasonable - it was more than fair. However, when time came to refund us, Pablo ghosted us, citing "staff shortages." When our case landed at corporate HQ in the "Escalation Department," corporate simply bounced it back to Pablo. We never received the small refund we requested. There is no one locally or at corporate that cares one iota about the customers, and their system is designed so you can never directly reach the person you need to talk to. There is no Vice President of Customer service, which speaks volumes. Apparently, no one in the "Escalation Department" cares that my case has never been resolved to my satisfaction. Window Nation simply doesn't care. They can afford to have an unsatisfied customer among its millions - but your local contractor can't. I regret not buying from a local contractor who relies on good reviews and satisfied customers. read more

We hired Window Nation to replace a front window and a patio door. While they were replaced, the products have had problems. During the winter the patio had frost build up due to lack of insulation. The front window also had frost build up for the same reason. "We told Window Nation that we did not know what to expect in the the winter due to the fact that the replacement happened in July." We were given "1" key to our patio door. They forgot to pick up the broken key on our patio. We did a review with Window Nation, but not one person contacted us! It's been a year now, and Window Nation has not contacted us about our review. We thought that the workers were efficient at the time, until they left. When they were replacing the molding around our patio door they cut a notch out of the molding next to the floor molding. Not to mention the patio door is hard to open. Not happy! I live in a townhome. I bought four windows and a patio door. I stressed over and over in the sales presentation that these windows had to be exactly the same as the ones being replaced. I was assured that they would be. The HOA (who had to approve this) was assured that would be. That was the first lie. There is a 3" difference in windowpane size. It is noticeable and I will have to replace them. I was also told installation was done by trained Window Nation staff. My job was done by a subcontractor and his young son who did a terrible job. After wrangling about this for many months WN finally agreed to have someone come and fix the job. Who did they send? The same guy and his son who now had a buddy in tow as a helper. I asked for my money back for the three windows that will need to be replaced. They said they would install different windows. I never want to work with this company again. Fool me once.... I will be sending something to the Better Business Bureau and the MN State Attorney General. I would encourage all of you who had similar experiences to do the same. I would hate to see anyone else have to go through this. read more
