Had Glass and Mirror remove old shower door and glass walls in preparation of retiling bathroom. In addition they removed a large 6x4 wall mirror above the sink. Absolutely happy with work performed. I want to just start by saying what a pleasure it was working with Bill and the rest of his team at Glass & Mirror. I recently did a big bathroom remodel that involved installing a sauna in which I needed glass for. I was referred to Glass & Mirror by a contractor I had hired that has used them many times in the past. Starting with my first phone call to them, they were "on it". They came out to measure within a day or two and proceeded to get the show on the road. I ended up making some "tweaks" and they had no problem changing up plans and delivering what I wanted. Grant and Jake were the glass installers and they were so meticulous, professional and personable. Just incredible!! I should also add that my glass was delivered and installed before the time frame they originally told me which naturally made me extra happy; because as we know- if you're doing a project, a lot of times companies will give you an estimated time window and it rarely happens that it's on time. Minnesota Glass and Mirror came to my home to give me an estimate on replacing glass in three windows. Upon arrival, the associate showed me his bid sheet contains $150 fee for measuring the windows before giving an estimate. Their webpage states that estimates are free. I politely refused the service. This is unfortunate, because it places the service guys out in the field in an awkward position based upon managements failure to fully disclose this fee. read more

The service and customer service we received were the worst I have ever experienced. Custom glass shower panes and a door took approximately 5 months to complete (longer than the entire bathroom took to build). It took at least five different cuts of glass to get the glass right. At one point we reported some concerns over the glass installation, and we had to fight to get the sales team to listen to our concerns including taking pictures and showing how off the measurements were. They tried to argue several times that it was normal to have 1/2" gaps between the tile and glass. To overcome this, they tried to custom cut and install a door between two panes of glass that had a difference in dimensions between the top and bottom to overcome the issues (meaning that the edges of the door were not square). We had to be home during every visit because they cut corners and never proactively fixed issues. As the five months came to close and we finally had glass that seemed to fit, the installer cut himself and bled all over our white shower and grout. Even after an issue that large, no one proactively called or reached out. It took several calls and texts to get someone to come clean and address the issue. This finally required cleaning and re-grouting. They did agree to pay for this. However, when I expressed my concerns over the final price and service given our issues, the sales manager refused to give me contact information for a superior above the two people I had been working with (Ed and Jason). He said he would not escalate and threatened collections. They also left several paint scrapes in our ceilings and walls that they did not address. Throughout our experience, the sales team never proactively communicated. They never came to our house to check our concerns. They were rude and at times completely unreachable. read more

Worst company ever to work with! We ordered a shower door and it had a crack out of the corner when the installers came to install it. they said they would replace it. finally got the new one installed and now we get an invoice for installation ( which we already paid for) and they want us to pay for the new door after stating that it would be taken care of. The company seemed fine initially when they were ready to get our business. They were timely to come out and give us an estimate on our window glass replacement. They also called the next day with the dollar figure for the replacement. The price didn't seem too bad so over the phone I placed the order and gave them my credit card information and was told they would call when the window came in and we could bring the window to them to be fixed within an hour or so. One month later and still no word. I have no idea how long these things take so called and left a message to find out a time frame for the window to come in. I received a call the next day stating they had no record of me or my order. I logged into my bank account and verified the date and the amount and the company that charged me. I was quickly put on hold and a few minutes later the woman returned and said that someone from the St. Paul office would need to call me back. I received a phone call back from an overly sarcastic man stating they had the window. When I said I had placed the order a month ago and wondered why no one had called his reply was that "they don't tell the old man in St. Paul anything". That's fine I can understand the humor but to me it seems like an unorganized way of doing your business. How does the office in Blaine where the woman called from NOT have any records of the orders placed in St. Paul. And considering I gave her my address which is in St. Paul, wouldn't it be common sense to call that location to see if maybe they had the order? Like I said, their initial contact was great. But to get the product was a bit stressful and highly unorganized. We had a frameless shower door installed last week and it looks great! They came out and measured and was ready to install within a few weeks. The installer was professional and answered all my numerous questions. I would highly recommend Glass & Mirror. Had a few window glasses replaced at home. It tool double time as promised waiting for glass order, and they never called me. I had to call them a few time every week or two since the promised installation week started to find out whether my order was in. Installation process was okay, except that one piece was broken during the installation and I was told an expedited replacement order was made immediately. However, again, it took 3x long time. We had this company install the glass for our shower when we built our home. They drilled holes and did not use them and we ended up with a leaky shower as a result. This company did NOTHING when we showed them what had happened. I would not use this company nor would I recommend them to ANYONE!! Scratched shower glass installed and customer service nightmare After paying $1000 for a new shower glass door with a large scratch in the top to nearly center of door, we were treated like dogs by the sales rep, Barry. We were never given a date to fix it or even told that a defective glass door was installed. After contacting Barry several times, he finally returned my phone call and made several flat out lies, contradicted literally everything he said and yelled to his staff that I wanted to key his car!!!! They knowingly installed a bad piece of glass (as they documented) and are in no hurry to fix it, in fact were hoping we didn't notice. I have NEVER encountered such rude business people in my life. I cannot believe how childish and unprofessional they treated me. We asked him to come out and fix it and he then told me that he was waiting on the glass manufacturer to make it. When asked when he last followed up on it, he said 4 days previous. I asked him to try again today and he stated his rep was out of town and there was nothing he could do until the next week. He had previously stated he could "polish it out" so I inquired about that and he told me he was too busy with installing other new doors to drop everything and do that. I questioned that business practice and lack of customer service and he mocked me. He told me it didn't affect the functionality of the door and to chill out. Wow, that's insane after paying a grand for a piece of glass that purpose is to look good, and it doesn't we are basically told that it opens and shuts so to take a chill pill. Barry was the worst person I could have dealt with today and I don't feel even a little guilty by saying he should be fired after speaking to me this way. We have a newborn baby coming this weekend and can't have any people or construction going on after we bring our new baby home and were very up front about that, but they only seem to care about installing the next door and forgetting the rest.
