2 months ago we were shopping for siding and windows. We wanted to replace 10 windows and the…read moresiding for the top half of the house. Aaron came to our house and sold us on Window World of Northern NJ. We signed a contract with Aaron and Window World and gave them half the payment. Aaron eased all our fears and assured us of their work. He explained that in 6-8 weeks we would be scheduled for our install. It has now been over 8 weeks and we are not even scheduled for an install. Aaron proceeded to take our check and we have not heard from him since, even after countless phone calls and texts. In fact we had to call Window World to schedule a measurement, they did not call us. We have now been calling for multiple weeks only to continue to reach an answering service and to never have a phone call returned. The one time we were able to speak to an actual representative our call was transferred to Patrick. We were told Patrick was the manager and he would help us. Instead of helping us, or apologizing and easing our fears about lack of communication and customer service, Patrick continued to try to talk over us and explain that the company did not operate by returning phone calls to customers and that we were not a priority. We were told not to call back, they would call us when the product was ready and they would install. Since that phone call there has been no communication from Window World about when our install will be scheduled or if our product has even arrived. We have since started the process of trying to contact the company again, but alas, we are greeted by the same answering service that tells us they will take a message and someone will return our call. This is our first home, and as first time home owners we are very careful and thorough with any decisions about our home (especially ones carrying a price tag over $10K). By choosing Window World we thought we were going with a company that would back their work and have great customer service. At this point not only are we concerned with the customer service, but also with the work. Thanks to Patrick we understand that we are "not a priority" and if something should go wrong with any of the product that they install on the house we can expect to not get a return phone call and have to chase them down the resolve any issues. At this point we would rather have our money back than run the risk of there being any issues with the install or the product down the line and while we wait for Window World to get around to us and resolve things , damage being done to our home. Thank you Patrick and Aaron for your dedication and commitment to what it is you do. You really let your customers feel how passionate you are about your work. And to think a simple return phone call could have put our minds at ease.

Joe is amazing to work with. He repaired one of my windows and just reinstalled and installed new windows in our daughter's home. He took his time explaining everything. His team comes in with shoe covering, tapes down paper everywhere. Vacuums, cleans and removes any debirs. We needed new carpentry around the interior windows and their carpentry was superb. They washed all the windows, installed screens, new casements, matched what was already there. I highly recommend this family business if you want very personal attention to detail and someone very easy to work with.

The manufacturing process may take a little longer than the large companies, but that is because they make the windows themselves in their shop. This has the added benefit of making them experts at window construction, so they can walk you through and recommend options. They also don't upsell - for example, they recommended thicker glass on the bedroom windows, but thinner glass on the larger living room windows to save. Lastly, they are very familiar with landmarks and can handle that process well. We have now used them for two brownstones and would recommend wholeheartedly

Their work was impeccable. The men were excellent and efficient in setting-up the rooms, removal of the old windows, installation of the new ones, clean-up, and putting the furniture back in place. Mike and I became friends since the Gold's Gym days. So when I bought a house I went to him for…read moremy window repairs and replacement. At first the price was nominal, but as the years progressed they grew to above market rate. The service was sometimes ok, but sometimes not so good. He continually changed workers and the quality showed for at times they would break the glass they were replacing!! One particular time he brought with him this young kid (who looked like he just got out of rehab) who CRACKED a window frame in 2 places while replacing a coil. No apologies, no discount on the charges, no removal of the charge. Mike simply came back with some Gorilla glue! I should of learned my lesson then. Last Spring he came to replace a glass and, again, broke the replacement glass. Keep in mind I have to fight with another window company to get the glass. He kept me with this broken glass for almost a year. He gave me a bill which I questioned for I thought he charged me to replace the glass he broke. So when I asked for a lower bill that's when Mike went off on me. I received multiple calls and texts stating how dare I ask for a lower bill. So, ok, I sent him a check for the $150. Not even a week went by when he harassed me over 2 days for the money. I had already sent the check. I shared with him that his behavior was out of line and disrespectful, he again went off on me on how I was wrong and he was right. I asked for a simple apology and he responded: "lol". So my warning is Mike has no respect for "the customer is always right". If you piss him off he will come at you guns blazing.
