I called NJ Home Maintenance and scheduled an appointment for an appointment. A few short days later they arrived at the house for the estimate. They dropped off a few samples along with an explanation sheet explaining the benefits of each. I was rather surprised by the price which I consider to be more than fair. I hired them on the spot and could not be more pleased. The work performed, punctuality and communication were all without parallel. The original estimate was simple and they are very quick to schedule you and give you an estimated time frame (weather dependent). Overall, they did a great job. I will say, they are a bit on the pricey side compared to other companies in the area. We had gotten an estimate for some powerwashing/roof cleaning and their quote came in the highest so we unfortunately didn't use them for that service. However, they do a fantastic job. I'm sure the quality of their work is there. We just didn't to spend so much money at the time. They also take credit cards which is a plus!

I was impressed that out of all the contractors that came to provide an estimate, Rudy was the only contractor with high tech equipment such as a drone to evaluate the roof. When I saw the drone, I immediately thought, "he's going to charge me an arm and a leg for this". However, I was wrong! I'd give zero stars if I could. My husband and I hired Mike and his cronies last year to do our…read moredeck. He needed to rip out the old wooden structure, secure joists, and replace water damaged planks with new planks. He was the supposed to install treks, paint the railings, install a new concrete walkway and lay down new sod. I knew something was off when DAY one he and his cronies showed up over an hour late. I had to call to inquire about his wear abouts. As the days went on, I was told there would be 2-3 guys working in my deck at a time to complete it quickly. Nope, it was just one guy, who was on his phone the whole day (I watched the footage from our camera). As time went on the deck was installed, concrete was complete, they had to install the sod as promised. Mike and his cronies installed 3/4 of the sod and then disappeared for almost two weeks. At this point he was given his money in full and just needed to get more sod, so I was very confused as to why he never came back. After I left a horrible review on Home Adviser, he called. He asked for me to change the review and they'll come back. I removed the review all together and my grass was installed. Less than a year later my deck is buckling, and the grass died. I've called and texted Mike and I was given the run around. I was told someone would come by, I was told someone would call, I was told he was in Texas for a family emergency, blah blah blah. When you try to find his contact information online, his website is down. DO NOT hire these crooks. He comes across as a good guy who knows his stuff but in reality they're crooks.

When I asked for the roof tiles to be replaced, Tazo disclaimed any responsibility and sent me packing. "Not my yob" was his attitude.
