Great Italian style restaurant, small and intimate. The service was great, the owner himself was serving and shaking hands with the customers. The rest of the staff were fantastic, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. I ordered were lamb shank, lined with a bed of mash potatoes, and veggies, with the most delicious gravy. I ate the whole thing in about ten mins. Carbonara and Lobster raviolis were ordered as well. Both were excellent, but the lamb shank was the best in my opinion.

I had taken her out last year for her birthday at Luna and at the end of the evening she was presented a lovely dessert on the house . Really pleased us both. No acknowledgment of my birthday last evening, even seeing gifts on the table which (Habib the owner)moved to make room for our plates. We both ordered the mushroom ravioli, which we had the last time. This time the raviolis had been cooked ahead of time because they were dry on the edges. We should've sent it back, but we didn't. Both of us are very good cooks so we know how easy it is to cook raviolis. I also cash purchased two containers of minestrone soup to go after we were finished our meal. I gave the server a $20 bill and all that came back was four dollars which means they kept the additional change. I didn't want to make a big deal about it, but, you don't round up and keep the change. We will look for another place to celebrate our birthdays.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf and you will definitely need a reservation. My family and I visited on a very busy Wednesday night and luckily we had reservations which were honored on time. It is a big restaurant that is elegantly decorated. We began our meal with the baked tomato bruschetta and two house salads. The bruschetta was tasty and they did not skimp on the tomatoes and basil. The house salads were the best salads we have had in a restaurant in a very very long time. Large portion and the perfect amount of vinaigrette dressing. We had two orders of the Miso salmon and an order of the swordfish. The salmon was out of this world. It came on a bed of white rice and other veggies. This might have been the best salmon dish we ever had in a restaurant. The swordfish was outstanding with the chimichurri sauce. All the portions were very generous. The service was friendly and outstanding. The prices were very reasonable considering the location. Put the Fog Harbor on your list because you will not be disappointed!

Not sugar coating anything, the service was abysmal.... My family and I were seated in the Eagle Cafe and in the beginning the service was to be expected. I would say the first twenty minutes was good, our original waitress was attentive and incredibly friendly. However she got pulled to work the bar and that's when everything went downhill... In the two hours my family spent in that restaurant our waitress (who didn't share her name with us) checked on us 5 times, so once every 20 minutes.... Items we asked her for were consistently forgotten and were brought by other members of staff who we had to snag as they passed by. We constantly had to ask for our drinks to be refilled, we had to ask three times for sauce, we weren't even offered dessert When our food arrived, it was incredible, but good food isn't enough to excuse horrendous service. We would've complained to the manager, or even our waitress but again... she only stopped by our table once every 20 minutes
