The Sandbar is easy to miss if you're driving by. But, stop in and stay a while. You'll be glad you…read moredid. It wasn't busy, but it was still nice to get our order taken quickly after we sat down. The beer prices are reasonable, particularly on tap. But, my wife's Moscow Mule seemed a bit weak, and it cost more than the beer. The food arrived quickly, too, and everything was hot off the grill. My wife and I both got the salmon sliders. Each sandwich has a generous chunk of perfectly cooked salmon. I ordered the tater tots, which were amazingly crispy and flavorful. My wife got the same thing, with french fries. The fries are good, but I like the tots better. My daughter's mac & cheese was super cheesy and buttery, and just needed a little salt to make it perfect. My son got a burger with a fried egg on it, and he said it was nice and beefy. Prices were reasonable, too. And, there are big screen TVs wherever you look. I can see this becoming a regular stop for good food and drinks.

This place sucks; we left before we even ordered, music too loud, service too slow…read more It was 9pm, and we had a long drive home, so we wanted to grab something to eat near the boat launch before we hit the highway. We sat down, the music was so loud you couldn't even have a conversation, couldn't hear the waitress, we waited a long time for her to return to our table, we asked her if they could turn down the music and were told "Well I can ask, but the people at the bar want it loud.", We got up and left. Plus, the menu was full of tree nut allergens and there was not one label.

Laurie, the bar attendant, was friendly-awesome suggested her favs like Greek chicken pita w/ dill sauce & tater tots. She served yummy frozen cranberry sangria and apple cider slushies, Margarita w/ sugared rim, didn't miss. He helped me figure out how much food I needed to feed my guests. I ended up going with a cookout-style menu. He made great suggestions, like replacing regular size burgers with sliders to appeal to adults and kids, and they could get a taste of everything else that I was serving. The sliders, toppings, buns, and chicken breasts were arranged so beautifully that I put away my serving platters and set out the takeout trays. The food was delicious and a lot of my guests commented on how nice everything looked and how good the food tasted. The price was very fair and I didn't have to cook or clean much. Pasta and salad sides also were fair priced. All the proteins were gluten-free, dairy, free, and nut free. I will make a note, we didn't discuss temperature of the burgers so this was my fault, and I am only stating so that anyone else who orders makes sure to add that to conversation. the sliders were pink inside. I will order them well done next time, no pink, for the sake of them being in a warmer for the duration of the party and keeping leftovers for the next day. The leftover chicken and sliders were just as good the next day.

Wow. I didn't know a place could be this bad. Such a disappointing Mother's Day meal. Lots of empty…read moretables but it took us 30min to be seated even with a reservation. Once seated it took an additional 30 min to be greeted by a waiter -- This seemed to be everyone's experience. The menu is so not it. As nicely as they tried to remodel the restaurant the menu did not match the vibe - fried, sub- par bar food options like every other restaurant in town. They were out of the steak, the only thing that sounded appetizing. I settled with potato cheddar soup that was more like queso in a cup. Such a disappointment. I don't understand why restaurants are okay with operating at this level. If you're going to have a restaurant why not strive to make it the best?
