This place was perfectly located on my way to work. My 2nd grade class was going to have an end of year donut party to wrap off the year with a bang! Im impressed and happy to say that this store with I believe 4 employees got the 2 girls in front and the guy at the back . The chef were on my A1 top list . Because everyone seem to be scared once I walked in but they were truly helpful and super nice in customer service. Beside they were fully stock and the Donuts looked fresh af and omg what I'm soooo happy about this store and and employees that the nevered burned my beagle and my sons food was on point to for him and wait the bathroom was absolutely clean af and I love how busy they were and employees looked happy to serve all of us best of love and best of wishes to you guys working in the store because I know what is to work with hungry customers haha . I walked in this morning with the very best attitude but that quickly changed when I was charged my order. The cashier Lucy M. had a very nasty attitude. She doesn't ask for your order, she demands it, she makes faces right in front of you and you better answer fast and right the second she asks you a question or she gets annoyed. This is rude. I came in here and they start complaining about me not wearing a mask. Um, OK, no other customer is wearing a mask. They make me leave. I find a mask in my car. I come back. I order a sandwich no mayo, no cheese. I give her $7.21 for a nickel back. She gives 4 pennies... I explained it to her and she argues me. So I'm like whatever. Then they give me a sandwich with mayo, cheese and mustard. "I asked for no cheese." Angry lady yells at me. "It says no jack cheese. I know but I said no cheese. More attitude. She checks with the "committee" they fix it and give me a sandwich with mayo, extra extra spicy. I eat it. I now have heart burn. Thanks nothing. They were pretty mean to me becauseI spoke English. They literally rolls their eyes at you IN YOUR FACE when you order lol. It's funny to me, poor things. After my experience today I wanted to post a review, and no surprise it seems like I'm not the only one. The employees lack simple customer service skills, always seem mad, and yell out orders to customers. The shop is not that big. I ordered two sausage, egg, and cheese and I found two issues. One was that it took more than 15 min to get my order and the other one was that as soon as I got to my office I noticed there was no sausage and one side of the bagel was burnt. I also got a mocha cappuccino and an iced vanilla coffee. The mocha was good (comes from a machine), but the iced coffee lacked the vanilla flavor. It was more milk and ice. Overall, really disappointed, but it's been a few times already so I don't think it'll change soon. Hoping they improve. read more

On 8/29/21 I went in to buy breakfast at 12:14 p.m, Alejandra and Jhoan helped me. When it was time to pay, I told Alejandra that I was going to pay half on one card and half on the other. Alejandra charged me half on one card and accidentally pressed cash for the second half. She couldn't reverse it and called Jhoan over to help, he couldn't reverse it either so he called (what I assume) is the his manager to ask her for help and put her on speaker. He explained the situation and his manager said "Hay pinche vieja pendeja!" which translates to an old asshole. That was very unprofessional and rude for no reason. I tried to get her name but her name was never given to me. Such a bad experience this morning. I ordered a red juice ($5.29) before I left I had the gut feeling of tasting it. Best choice I made. It had gone bad. I was really embarrassed to spit it out in front of everyone but it was a must. I had to clean myself with my glove and my sweater that ended up stained. When I asked the employee for a refund she told me they never gave refunds. If I wanted something else. She gave me an orange juice ($4.29). I checked the price on the menu and told her there was a price difference. She then told me if I wanted a donut or something. I told her I just wanted my money back to begin with. Their employee Ana or Anna. however she chooses to spell it is rude. My brother always goes in to getas muffin and he had asked about the possibility of ordering the loaf. Which other employees have told him he could do. When he asked her she said he'd have to come back in the morning or the afternoon to place the order. He let her know that he's been told he can do it at anytime and she kept saying no but she changed her tune when my mom walked into the store. She started to offer to do the order and my brother was over it. I don't know why she acts like that with younger customers. She's lucky I wasn't their because my brother is too polite. Today, after dropping my wife to work, I decided to go to Winchell's. My plan was to use the restroom and then buy a donut. I went inside and went straight to the restroom. I saw a sign that it said, For paying customers only. I was ok, well I am still going to buy a donut, but I need to use the restroom first because I needed to blow my nose, since I have a cold, and I needed to urinate as well. I politely asked one of the workers, which later I found out is one of the managers, "if I could use the restroom?" She gave me a demeaning , judgmental look and took her time to response. She then said, it is for paying customer only. I really didn't pay attention to her attitude at first and I politely told her, I know and I do plan in purchasing a donut. She then looks at me up and down, takes her time by talking to the other workers, and after making me wait for a while, she very rudely walks up to the restroom. While going to the restroom, she seemed very upset and very rudely tells me, again, it is only for paying customer. I got really upset, because even though I told her that I was going to purchase something, she replied very rudely and made me feel inferior. Now, I am wearing my light cream hoodie, with my slim fit jeans and my teal Nike Roshe, so I looked very decent. Anyhow, I was really upset and I went to one of the cashiers and I told her that she was rude and I showed her my wallet, with my credit cards, to show her that I did intend in purchasing a donut. I did not use the restroom, but I decided then to call headquarters and I asked the cashier who she is, and she told me that she is the manager. I quickly placed the complaint about the way I was treated. After the complaint, I still needed to use the restroom, so I bought a donut, but by this time I was very upset. Then I told the worker, Can I know use the restroom? She then went to open the door. All this time the manager went to the back room, especially once I made the call to their headquarters. However, before going inside the restroom, I saw the manager walk out from behind, and I thew my purchase at the counter, telling her, here is my purchase. After using the restroom, I was about to walk out, when I saw the cashier that I spoke with earlier, and I again told her that the manager's attitude was not acceptable. She then told me, very rudely that I was overreacting. I told her that I was not, and that even though I was upset, that I did not yell or insulted them. Then, she said, oh it's because you said that you were not going to purchase something. I told her that was lie, because I said very clearly that I was going to purchase something right in front of them. Then I told her that you guys should treat clients with respect, but then she rudely cuts me and she said that I AM A MAN AND THAT SHE IS A WOMAN AND THAT I SHOULD HAVE NOT ACTED IN SUCH WAY. I told her that I didn't act in any way, and the reason that I threw the bag with the donut at the counter was to make a point, especially after ignoring me specifically say, that I WAS GOING TO MAKE A PURCHASE. I also told her that regardless of me being a man or a woman, that I am a client and that clients should always be treated with respect. However, she kept cutting me off, excusing off their behavior, and even telling me that everyone needs to pay for the actions of a few people who just use their restroom without making a purchase. I was in shock at this point and I got extremely upset, but instead of arguing, I left because I did not want to make a bigger scene. After leaving, I heard her saying mockingly, so aren't you going to take your donut? I just ignored her and I got in my car and left. I never heard a single apology from them. They were very rude, they have non-existing customer service and this is the last time I step inside this horrible place. Now I know why there are so many bad reviews from this place. read more
