I made an appointment at 6:30 for a Gel Manicure and Pedicure. I figured they know it's not going to be fast, since it's 2 different services, but one of the ladies was rushing the entire time and seemed pretty frantic about the time and was running around, getting her things. They also, didn't do the massage and didn't acknowledge that it is a part the service, which was obviously disappointing. I've gone to her enough times now that I pretty much trust her to do her thing. The overall vibe here is also really nice and easygoing. Everyone is friendly, nobody makes you feel awkward, and it doesn't have that overly hectic nail-salon feeling where you're just waiting around forever wondering when someone is going to get to you. Even when they're busy, things seem to move along pretty well. Also PARKING. If you live in OC you already know how much parking can make or break whether you want to go somewhere. Parking here is super convenient and I've never had to circle a parking structure 14 times just to make a nail appointment. You pull up, park, walk in, get your nails done and go about your day. Love that. Location is convenient too, especially if you're already around Lake Forest/Irvine. It's just an easy place to stop by without turning getting your nails done into an entire afternoon activity. I've always had a good experience with the staff and I genuinely think there are a lot of talented nail techs here, so this isn't to take away from anyone else at all. Tina is just my personal favorite because she matches my pace. Fast, efficient, consistent and my nails always look good when I leave. Definitely one of those local spots you end up becoming a regular at. If you're particular about your nails but also don't want to spend your whole day getting them done, ask for Tina. it makes me so so sad to write this review because i was originally a ginormous fan of "the nail…read moreboutique," but after the service i received last week, i feel that i have to say something. last friday i had an appointment to get my prom nails done at 2:30 PM. when i arrived, i waited for over 45 minutes to receive my service. i was never offered water or anything (which honestly isn't a big deal but i just felt it was worth mentioning) but was also never really acknowledged. i almost felt like they forgot about my appointment. when my service finally began, i showed my nail tech my inspiration picture and she was confident and excited to recreate my vision. however, what i left the salon with is far from what i asked for. i left with a flower that is sloppy, none of the petals connect, and that has a big red circle with black lines, which is nothing like what i asked for. beyond that, i felt like my french tips were somewhat rushed and a bit sloppy. i don't expect perfection by any any any means, but i just generally felt neglected as a customer and a bit rushed once my service began. beyond this, by the time monday came, which was 3 days after my initial appointment, one of my nails had fallen off. this was a full acrylic set that i paid over 93 dollars for, and less than 5 days later, they were already falling off of my fingers. again, i feel really bad writing this because i dont want to tarnish their reputation or make them seem like a terrible buisness, but im just really unsatisfied and upset with the service i received, and really frustrated that i spent close to 100 dollars for a service that does not meet my expectations. i know that 100 might not be a lot, but im still a teenager in high school, and i work really hard at my job to make that money, so losing that much of my money is just hard. i just would advise that if you go here, you definetly keep your designs simple, and make sure to go at a time when you know they won't be busy so that your appointment is not rushed.
