Placed an order on SUNDAY 5/26 for pick up @5:30pm. Received an email confirmation. Keep in mind, I double checked that they were open until 10pm(stated on website). I get there around 5:45pm and its closed! lights off, chairs on table closed! No signs or anything. They were closed Monday 5/27. Called today and the person who answered was unwilling to help and told me to call back. $55 order is a lot and atp I will just file a dispute with my bank....

The first day I had the burger special which I felt was a good value. It came with fries and a canned soda. The burger was just a burger, but the BBQ sauce it is served with was delicious and elevated the whole thing. It was a little sweet and just enough spicy to be perfect and the fries were very good. When I went back I got the cheeseburger potato - HUGE portions and really yummy tasting. My coworker got the garlic shrimp and curry shrimp potatoes and said she and her husband liked both. They were surprised by how big their potatoes were. A great discovery close to the office!

South Kitchen & Bar is truly one of Pompano Beach's best hidden gems! If you love New Orleans…read morecuisine with a delicious Caribbean flair, this is a must-visit. We enjoyed Sunday brunch on the beautiful outdoor patio with our little dog, and despite the Florida heat and humidity, we were perfectly comfortable beneath the shade of the magnificent tree. It created such a charming and relaxing atmosphere. The Unlimited Brunch absolutely lives up to the rave reviews. The value is incredible, and the food just keeps coming! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, but our two favorites were the Gouda Shrimp & Grits and the Sweet Potato Waffle--both were pure decadence on a plate. We also loved the flaky biscuits, the sweet roll, the deviled eggs...and that's just the beginning. There were so many wonderful dishes to sample that every dish brought to the table was another delicious surprise. From the creative, flavorful cuisine to the attentive, friendly service, every aspect of our visit was exceptional. South Kitchen & Bar delivered a brunch experience we'll be talking about for a long time, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

I recently visited South Bar & Kitchen for their Old School Saturday Supper event, and while the…read moreatmosphere had its highlights, the overall dining experience left me wanting more. The restaurant is located in Pompano Beach with both street parking and several nearby parking lots, which made parking fairly easy. That said, the surrounding area felt a little sketchy, and as a woman, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable walking around alone at night. The restaurant itself is cute, casual, and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The event was held outside, where DJs kept the crowd entertained with a great mix of hip-hop, R&B, and old-school classics. The music was definitely one of the highlights of the night. Because the humidity was unbearable, even after the sun went down, I chose to sit inside for dinner before heading out to enjoy the event. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great. I understand they were likely busier than usual because of the event, but our waiter wasn't very attentive. He told us to flag him down if we needed anything, which isn't exactly what you expect when dining out. Our drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive, and although we were told the bar was backed up, they ended up tasting mostly like juice with very little alcohol. For appetizers, we ordered the crab beignets. They were just okay, but the mustard dipping sauce was actually really delicious and probably my favorite part of the dish. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and I had the shrimp Caesar salad. The salad came with much more dressing than I prefer, making it a bit overwhelming. My friend thought her sandwich was decent, but unfortunately it didn't sit well with her stomach the following day. After dinner, we headed outside to enjoy the party. The outdoor deck is built around a beautiful tree and offers plenty of seating, along with a separate outdoor bar, which created a fun atmosphere. One thing that stood out, though, was how slippery the deck was. At first I thought it might have been my shoes, but after hearing several other people mention the same thing, it seemed like I wasn't the only one who noticed. Overall, the entertainment and outdoor atmosphere were enjoyable, but I wouldn't return for dinner. The menu is fairly limited, and with fewer options, I expected each dish to really stand out. Unfortunately, the food and service just didn't live up to those expectations. If you're looking for good music and a fun Saturday night vibe, the event is worth checking out, but I wouldn't go for the dining experience alone.

** Classic Vacation Spot! Great Drinks & Killer Blackened Chicken**…read more First official lunch stop of our Florida trip is in the books, and **Legends** absolutely delivered! We managed to slide in just in time for happy hour, so the wife kicked things off right with a great cocktail. To keep the kids happy while we looked over the menu, we started with the mozzarella sticks and corn dog poppers. Both were total crowd-pleasers--crispy, melty, and didn't last long on the table. For the mains, the family spread was a massive success. The kids went with the classics: a juicy cheeseburger with golden fries, and crispy chicken tenders with perfectly fried tater tots. Both got total nods of approval. The wife and I went the salad route, ordering the Cobb salad and the Caesar salad, both topped with blackened chicken. Let me tell you, that blackened seasoning is the real deal here! It gave both salads a smoky, savory punch that elevated the whole meal. At the end of the day, Legends serves up **classic bar food done absolutely right**. The vibe is fun, the food is unpretentious and delicious, and the service was on point. It's a fantastic, reliable spot that I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area. We will definitely be back on future visits!

Great food, excellent drinks, and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere make this a place worth coming back to. Highly recommend stopping in, especially for the margaritas.

We ordered the Hawaiian steak entrée along with a crab cake entrée to create our own surf-and-turf combination. The steak was just okay. It had good flavor and was tender, but there were quite a few fatty pieces throughout. The loaded baked potato was as good as ever and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The crab cakes were average--nicely golden and crisp on the outside with plenty of lump crab meat, but they could have used more seasoning. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, but the wait for outdoor seating was between 45 minutes and an hour. If you'd like to sit outside, I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. Overall, we had a nice dining experience. While the food didn't quite live up to my expectations, the atmosphere was pleasant and I'd be open to giving it another try.

Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

The bar and restaurant itself has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I ordered the tuna appetizer, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. To their credit, the staff handled it very professionally and took it back without any issue, which I appreciated. The rest of the table had a much better experience with their meals. The steak and salads especially got good reviews from everyone and looked very well prepared. Even though my dish missed the mark, the service and atmosphere were solid enough that I'd still consider giving eTwic another try in the future. Sometimes one item just doesn't hit, and there were definitely enough positives about the restaurant to make me curious to come back and try something different next time. I know that one friend at the table really enjoys this place so I must believe that she has good taste!
