So glad this place is closed. Peter Canale completely ripped me off. Said vehicle was inspected and reassured me everything was fine. I had a deposit down and a signed contract on a car. After both the owner, Peter, and salesman, Jack, looked me in the eye and told me they would let me know if someone was interested in the car they sold it out from under me. Not only did they not call me to tell me someone was interested they never called me after it was sold. I found out days later when I called them to check on the work that was to be done on the car. Purchased a used car from dealer on 8/28/20. At the time of sales, the SRS airbag system did not function. The dealer promised to fix it. He sent me used and defective parts to fix myself. After many email exchanges of he is looking into it, it was never resolved. After contacting the dealer again, he stated car was not under warranty 30 days later. WHAT A FRAUD. After seeing a car I liked on their website I took a trip to CT to see it for myself. The pictures showed a clean looking car but it was even better in person. Jack answered all of my questions and was really helpful. A 30 day/500 mile warranty is included in the price (which they worked with me on) which is a definite plus. If I could give this place less than one star I would. I found a rather rare vehicle in fairly good shape at this establishment. Initially the customer service seemed pleasant and helpful but the owner is an absolute crook. I was an out of state customer and I had to do a lot of my dealings over the phone or internet(mostly phone). I put down a very size able down payment for the car ( a Mazdaspeed 6). And they offered a service to register the car for me being an out of state customer. This took nearly a month to finally complete it all. I had attempted to work it out to drive the 3 hours to pick up the title and register it all myself and they gave me a run around. Come to find out they were getting offers on the car for higher than they listed and higher than I had SIGNED for. It was very shady and i have no doubt that they were trying to get me to just say forget it, it's not worth the hassle so they could sell it for those higher prices. After many excuses and B.S.ing the part time salesman that I had first dealt with, Jack, had come back and made things as right as he could. Which was really hardly at all considering the owner had final say. I did end up still buying the car considering what was invested in my time and money in it. In the first two days of owning it there was a loud clunk that had occurred in the rear end. I tried to find my 3 month full power train warranty that I was promised in the paperwork that was sent me, it wasn't there. And after a week of fighting with then about where it was we had found out that the owner Peter, an absolute crook, had removed it saying "we don't warranty those cars." How can you throw out a signed agreement? Anyway this place was all in all not worth the time and aggravation. If you are thinking about buying from them walk in with 100% of the cash and a trailer to bring home what you purchase an for sure don't trust them. Jack was a nice guy unfortunately he didn't have much say. If you can help it, go somewhere else. read more

This dealer should not be trusted. Any dealer that would lie over something small will for sure burn you on anything big. I bought a car from them and they swore the oil was changed. The owner even said they would not let it go out with black oil. When the car was shipped to my house , the first thing I did before taking delivery was check the oil. Black as black can be. I called the owner Peter Canale and told him. Given how diligent he was on following up to get me to follow through and buy the car, I actually expected him to do something about this and send me money for the missing oil change or maybe an oil change kit for me to do it myself. Nope. He said he would call me back and then I never heard from him again. That was month ago. Odd how he said the tires were fine and yet they are full of dry rot ( the pictures did not show the rot). So they cheated on the safety as well. Now I need to buy new tires as well. Bring a lawyer with you if you deal with them or, ideally, don't buy from them unless you really have no other choice ( not sure why that would be with ebay and online shopping) Having purchased over 50 cars and motorcycles in the past 20 years, I can say that this was/ is one of the more shady dealers. Peter Canale runs the show and should not be trusted. If you are reading this review a month from 5-20-2015 or 3 years, just know that a leopard does not changes his spots. Buyer beware. read more

Purchased a Chevy Tahoe Z71 which is still listed on their website however it is no longer available. Guided us through everything, had an issue when i picked up the truck and the break line went. Not sure how that was over looked on the safety inspection...nevertheless, they picked up the tahoe and fixed the break lines and had it ready to go withing 2 days. The salesman I worked with was professional and took the time to go through the car. I'm happy with my car and the deal I got. They changed the squeaky wiper blades before I took it home. I had a tire sensor light go on as soon as I drove away. They checked the tires and they seemed fine. The light went back on and I'll need to replace the sensor, but I figure it's part of the used car package. Overall, I think I did get a decent deal. read more

Jack at Wilton Auto Park is great. I looked at a used Toyota Land Cruiser that Wilton had for sale. Jack recommended a local mechanic and offered to drive the car to the mechanic to have it inspected. I didn't ultimately end up buying the car for reasons unrelated to Wilton, but Jack and everyone I dealt with at Wilton were honest, straight forward and reasonable. read more

I purchased a 2008 Subaru Legacy in December of 2015. The engine light came on soon after I took the car home and I must have taken the car in to them at least 5 times. I finally paid my own mechanic $285 to fix the problem, 1 time...done. My son took that car on the highway a few days after we took delivery and in the pouring rain the wheel started shaking violently and he had to get off the road. It turned out the front brakes malfunctioned. By the way, the salesman told me that the brakes were all new on the car but when I went to pick it up that work was not on the receipt. He then told me that the brakes were not new but they looked them over. I guess not. I requested that they take the car back but they refused. I will say they were responsive, put new brakes on the car and tried to fix the engine light. All in all, I would NOT buy anything from this dealer without having it checked out by your own mechanic. Personally, I would not go back. read more
