Great neighborhood park! Playground for older kids toward the back of the park and fence-in area for toddlers. Great walking track around the green space. A lot of grass for picnicking, running, and playing. Baseball fields at the west side of the park. Bathrooms available past the ceramics building. Usually pretty clean... though cold! It will get busy during the weekends and parking is more difficult... but easy to find neighborhood street parking and walk in to enjoy your day. They are putting in a community garden, so some areas of the park will be distrusted during this construction. read more

I've been going to the park for a number of years and I love how the new updated playgrounds our world cup and they even have a shaded area on the slide so hopefully no the children got burned. Discovered this little treasure of a park recently. They seem to be doing lots of construction, but one of the highlights is the new play structure that for children 5-12 years old. They have monkey bars and various other items that give children a chance to use different muscle groups. At the entrance there is an older play structure that may have undergone some renovation. That is where you will find the swings a few different slides. This park is a good spot for children to bicycle or ride around on their scooter. I didnt really see many dogs. It is also popular for those who are interested in ceramics, because the ceramics club (classes, etc.) is built right into Wilson park. Lots of grass where you can picnic as well! read more

Generally quiet and little to no traffic. It has a playground, baseball diamond, and great pathway for walks. Seen many ignoring the signs on dogs required to be leashed. What they don't understand is that it's also for their own dog's protection as well. Ever thought about your dog approaching another who may not be so harmless? Think about it. read more

Came here to eat our take-out lunch at this park as they had some picnic tables, however, we got attacked by hungry bees!! They were hovering over our food and buzzing around too much, too close for comfort and we only stayed 10-15 minutes max. read more

Very nice, slightly hidden park with 3 baseball fields (looks like they play Little League here), which consequently, also has plentiful parking. At the east end of the park, there's also another grassy area, a children's playset, a BBQ area and another playset/slide-like area. Looks like there's also a building that is an art center, as well as restrooms. Lots of grassy areas and a nice paved path to circle the park with. There were quite a bit of people here on a Sunday evening, including three separate groups hanging out in the BBQ area, several families with their kids on the two different playsets, some people with their dogs walking around the park, and someone practicing in the batting cage. Very nice and clean park, with moderate foot traffic, lots of parking (probably only when there isn't a game), and probably has a little bit of something. read more

The gated field that isn't Phil Matthew's Field has one open gate so I can let my dogs in there to run off-leash. Yes, this is illegal, but that's what Cupertino gets for not having a dog park. We play in the outfield so they don't mess up the dirt between the bases and they don't bother anyone. They'd be fine running off-leash on an open field, but people in Cupertino are really skiddish when they see dogs, especially dogs off-leash, so I try to keep them contained. The rest of the park is nice - playgrounds, lots of grass, bathrooms and water fountains easily accessible. In addition to the 2 gated baseball fields, there's another one that's open. There's plenty of parking on the street if you come from the Blaney side. If you're on the Portal side, there's street parking and unless it's a really nice day in the later afternoon when all the parents and kids go to the park, there's always parking there. It's a nice place to walk or jog around if you don't want to go to Creekside and just walk the track. Come on by with your dog and join us in the baseball field. It'd be nice to meet some dog friendly people in Cupertino for once... **UPDATE 3/28/08** The darn field was locked up today! Why would they lock up the field in a public park? Seriously...NO ONE uses it. I'd understand if it was getting abused or whatnot, but it's not! OPEN UP THE FREAKIN' GATE so it can be used by the PUBLIC. Duh! Until then...my dogs will have to run free in the rest of the park ;) read more

We should name this place "OLD FAITHFUL" because it seems this place has always remained open and reliable when we have had a kick ball game. There are no real perks at this park, it is fairly bare bones with mostly fields of grass to play baseball or what not. Great for running your dog around (please pick up the POO) and Kick ball! read more

In general, Cupertino Parks are really nice. My son plays little league at Wilson, and the fields are beautiful. There is plenty of parking, and lots of bicycle parking as well. The bathrooms are clean (clean for being a public park) and there are even dog-poop-bags available for all the people who walk their dogs here. I like that there are 2 playgrounds--one for younger children, and one for older children. The playground for younger children is fenced, with a really nice sand and swing area. There are a few picnic benches, so its a great place to take the little ones for a weekend picnic. read more

This is a pretty nice park. It's well maintained, has two large fields for little league or soccer events, two playground areas for kids some picnic tables and a nice large grassy area. I used to live walking distance from this park and found it convenient to take my dog here for walks. read more

I went looking on yelp for a different park than we are used too. This park has a great playground for toddlers that is gated. It has big kids swings and baby swings. It has a pretty cool sandbox and a hill with two slides going down it and two sets of stairs to walk up and a rubber ground around it incase the kiddos fall. There is also one more slide slide coming down from a hill. There is great shade going around the parameter of the park but none In the middle where the kids might be running around more. It would be nice if there was a little play structure for the toddlers to climb on. Across the field a little bit from the toddler playground there is a big kid playground with lots of different climbing choices and obstacles for the kids to try. Surprisingly they have a mandate shade structure over the slide so it does t get hot. There is a huge field and baseball fields as well. There is also a nice path the kids can ride their bikes or scooters on. There is a bathroom pretty close to the toddler park and street parking on Wintergreen Dr. the kids really enjoyed this park. The only con I see is that the main area where the kids play isn't shaded and seems like it would get pretty hot. read more

If this place had more shade and trees it would be soo much more pleasant. The sun can be pretty brutal in cupertino. The large playground has been replaced with a new one which is much better than the metal slide that was here previously, and more kid friendly. The play structures are built more safely for little toddlers with no huge gaps in between the walking areas. Its pretty quiet here, so we usually have the place to ourselves. Yay! read more

This is an incredible park, great for just chilling out and relaxing. There is a good number of picnic benches, a readily available bathroom, and good segregation between the different activity areas (i.e.. baseball park, and big green fields, and play ground areas with nice walkways). Terrific uncrowded park. The Portal side of the park has BBQ's, tables a gated play structure and sand pit for toddlers and a larger play structure for older kids. They've renovated an unused building as well and its now fully equipped art/ceramic studio for kids and adults to enjoy classes and rent for parties. on 7/19/2013, I had a horrific experience at this park. I met a Hongyun art school summer camp kids and their 2 supervisors. a cute dog had no leash on and playing with kids in the gated area that was dedicated for toddlers. I asked the supervisors to take the dog out of the area(sign said no dogs in this area), then these 2 supervisors refused to get their dog out started screaming at me and even threatened me by saying "the dog is not making any trouble to you, what kind of problem you have with my dog?""if you bud into someone's business you would suffer." It's very hard to rate anything 5 stars....anyway..this is a great park. I played Little League here when I was a little kid. I dont come here often, but it is a great place to lay in the sun, walk your dog, play on the playgroud, play sports, just about anything. The bathrooms arent open all the time though. It is a lot more quiet than creekside as well. read more

I love this park, there's something for everyone here. They have a wide field in the front that AYSO uses every weekend during soccer season. I've also seen some people play cricket in the front baseball field. They always have Little League every summer with lots of kids running around in cute baseball uniforms. They recently redid the 2 play structures in the front (with tan bark) and the back (with sand). I love going on a stroll in the afternoon and going on the swings. The fields are ginormous and often empty (except on weekends when the organized sports are there) but even so, the backlot has more fields where you can let your dog roam. The sidewalk and concrete are well paved around the park and there are always people out enjoying an after dinner stroll. Plenty of parking spaces around (except when there are baseball/soccer games). There are plenty of trees to sit under on a hot summers day. TIP: This is a great place to come and watch the fireworks on Independence day! read more

This is a nice well-kept park. There are two play structures, one fully-fences for littler children, and one for bigger kids. This is great if you only have small children, but if like me you have one in each category it is a bit awkward as the areas are too far apart to watch children in each one. I usually bit my nails watching my little one on the sky high big kid structure for a while and then switch to enduring the glares of the only-tot moms on the little play yard while my nine year old plays there with his sister. The little league fields are very nice and I like having them park-adjacent for occupying little sister during long games or practices. I do wish they were unlocked at other times for my son and husband to practice batting aU don't think it ia safe for them to do so on the T-ball field. This part is a bit confusing- are they publicly-owned or not? If it is public shouldn't they be available for use? read more
