First time here as its hard to find a decent wing place anywhere and figured we would give this place a shot. Unlike most other reviews here we had no problems with the service. The man taking our order was nice and helpful and we got the order pretty fast. Unfortunately, the wings are just "meh". Nothing special here. Not really that tasty and not alot of options for sauces. Had a boring over vinigared flavor. We ordered medium and mild (as we had picky kids with us) but there was really no difference between the two. And to make it worse we got charged an extra $1 to split the order into 2 different sauces. To top it off there wasn't enough sauce on them so we were charged again for extra sauce. Skip this place! This is my favorite wing place!!! I've been going since I was 6. It's been a family tradition and favorite for over 20 years. My dad knew the original owner who was a cool guy. I don't know how many other owners there have been since I was a little kid but the wings haven't changed. EVERY OTHER WING PLACE I GO GETS COMPARED TO WILLY'S. Every other place I've tried is either "almost as good as" or "not as good as" Willy's. The flavor is the best and make sure you ask for a little extra sauce in there too. Seriously the only place in the world I smell their wings and instantly salivate. I can eat my fill and crave it again the next day. As you can tell, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PLACE. I've been here two times and the second time was probably the worst. We walked in and the red neck cashier guy was rude to us, the whole time he gave us an attitude like he didn't want us there. I asked for the Fried Oysters and his response, "Uhhhh we don't have any oysters...only the Rocky Mountain Oysters..." Okay retard...they're the same thing. He needs to go to the barber shop, take an hour shower, use some soap and wash out that attitude of his or better yet go find a freakin new job that actually makes him happy because we didn't give him any reason to make him give us an attitude. On to the food, it was pricey for 10 wings for $10.50 and they charge $1.50 to split half of the wings into two different flavors..wth what kind of service is that. The girl taking orders has a TERRIBLE attitude and acted like everything we ordered was a huge pain in the ass to make (we all ordered wings ... At a wing joint). She then gave us a hard time when we asked for a few boxes. As for the food, the wings were decent. Nothing close to the pictures I saw online. They were swimming in sauce and were not very crispy. The celery and carrots were rubbery and dry, probably weeks old. When we left she made us clean up the table in a very rude tone. We cleaned up and she still acted like someone peed in her Cheerios. She sucks and should prolly get a job scrubbing toilets where her shitty attitude would be a better fit. Overall, this place is a bust. In a town as cool as cool as Morrison, Willy's is a real shit stain. Don't waste your time or money (by the way it cost about $1/wing... Did I mention this place is a double wide trailer?) Love this place! As I live in Lakewood and frequent the Morrison strip, this is always destination numero uno! I always ask for well done boneless wings and have never been upset. Plus, it's rad inside! All the qualities of an upper-end dive with ballin' wings. Plus, the owner is one of the coolest gents you'll come across. Check out the fried pickles, too! For all the hype on the strip, this stands apart. Nothing beats a 30-miler on the bike followed by some rad wings. A testament of the quality is best found in the summer when the place is jammed. These folks know how to do wings! My husband and I were in town for vacation and wanted to find a wing place. I searched online and found Willy's Wings. Based on the reviews we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! Probably the best buffalo style wings I've ever had. The fries were great too! The people were so nice. It is a "hole in the wall" kind of place for sure, but if you're looking for something off the beaten path and you want some really great wings, you should give them a try. These are hands down the best wings in the Denver area. I absolutely love them. As many reviewers have mentioned, parking is limited and so is seating. This is a small shop in Morrison. People would complain if it was big, too. I tend to order take out, and am always happy. The wings are delicious, the fries are crispy. Wow! I have a love hate relationship with wings. My favorite food is chicken followed by sauce. One of my least favorite things is getting messy. Boneless wings are not as delicious as bone-in. Let's face it. Problem being bone-in wings are messy. Perhaps you'll roll your eyes at me, but Buffalo Wild Wings is the only place I'll go to purposely get wings. I'll order them off other menus, but there isn't a wing joint besides BWW that I like. Back to my wow, this was recommended to me by a coworker who knows I enjoy a great wing. My friend and I went and I ordered us spicy BBQ and medium buffalo wings. Neither were really spicy at all, but they were both delicious -- especially spicy BBQ. Doused in the sauces, my fingers were sticky and covered. No matter, I'm not sure I came up for air from these delicious wings to have even noticed. Reasonably priced, small store front, and poor parking. Ignore all of that, you have to eat here if you like wings. If you don't trust me on the spice factor, ask for samples. Had the hot wings and mushrooms...food was great...but the mushrooms weren't fresh as is homemade and for almost $5 for the shrooms I thought it was a bit expensive. Again food was great. Our party also ordered a couple of 15 count wings and only got 1 blue cheese or ranch, had to pay for an additional...thought that was against hot wing law. Again food was great. Willy's Wings : The Lunch Special It's hard to miss in the small passing by town of Morrison , most likely a Family owned business . It reminded me of my family's Wing place that we had back in the days on Colfax and Sheridan. I consider myself to be very experienced in eating wings especially hot wings.The place is dated , multiple frames of sports stars are hung up all around the place, there's at most 8 2- top tables inside the actual restaurant , they have an outside patio with two or three tables. The "One refill only please" sign on the soda dispenser stood out, only one refill? . I got the Lunch special for $8.80 ,which consisted of 10 wings ,fries ,carrots,ranch dressing and a drink. 10 wings, fries and a drink for $8.80 ain't getting better than that. The wings are made fresh to order , it would be a 10 minute wait. The wings were crispy one bite and you could hear the "crunch" as you tore off the meat from the bone. The Drum to Flat wing proportion was spot on, they weren't dry and the bottom of the wing basket had extra sauce, I approved . The fry basket had like 10 fries in there, but I was there for the wings. There was an older woman at the cash register she wasn't personable , I wouldn't say rude because she wasn't , just straight forward a " get in get out " type of lady. This place surpassed my expectations , I was expecting average wings but they were beyond that, they were crispy, juicy and had a lot of buffalo sauce , the price makes it so much better all that for $8.80? 06-30-16 My husband and I stopped off at Willy's Wing's to get some dinner to go last night. First time to try this place out. I walked in and the place inside had a thick odor of fried food. I went to the counter to get a menu. No one was there, but there was a blond older lady that I could see in the back getting an order ready. She looked back and saw me, saying nothing. I waited for a bit and I was going to tell her I would be right back, but she never acknowledged me so I went outside to show my husband the menu. (In car with our dog). I went back inside and the woman was at the counter leaning over as to rest. I said hello and told her I wanted to order some food to go. She moved over to my side leaning over the counter to take my order. I paid my bill and she told me it would be 20 min. She was never friendly and i felt like she didn't even want to be there. I went outside to wait. I came back in and my food was waiting on the counter. An older thin man who was working in the kitchen came out and told me that was my order. He seemed more friendly than the lady, even in the short conversation we had. Now for the meal.... The coleslaw looked like it was 2 weeks old and I spit it out right away. Disgusting. The wings were just ok. The corn nuggets were good, but only when they were hot. I wish the owners would read the reviews and adjust their business so that they could bring in more people for quality atmosphere and food. I want small business owners to do great. Just about 2-3 blocks west is a restaurant called THE COW. They have wings that are Amazing and the staff is very friendly. They bring in a lot of costumes. Sometimes there is a wait, but their food at The Cow is yummy. I will never go back to Willy's Wing's unless they improve. read more

Willy's Wings product is pretty much average, and can't really even compete with generic, chain-style wings places. The patio is slanty, and that large tree is unsafe. The employees are always surly, and the girl on Saturday, 5/16/09, came out to greet a customer and his DOG on the patio, right next to the "No dogs or alcohol on the patio" sign. She then went back in started handling food and money after touching the dog. She allowed the dog to remain on the porch. Also, as she was wiping down tables she banged another chair into the back of my chair and didn't even say excuse me. Also, the Harley's roaring up and down Morrison Rd are totally annoying. I went there to eat today and when my friend and I had walked a little away from the restaurant to go look at something quick and go get our friend, someone who worked there came out and basically screamed at us for literally walking maybe a yard away from our car in the lot and told us we couldn't park there and walk over there. We already knew that this place had private parking but the disrespect that we received before even coming in was just unnecessary. Instead of being rude to your costumers and just assuming that we were parking there to do something else maybe just inform people, if you think that's the case, that the lot is for costumers only in case they hadn't seen the sign. I also work in the food business and if i had yelled at a costumer the way this guy did i would've been fired, but i actually know not to treat costumers that way no matter what. So consequently we decided we wouldn't support a business that thinks it's ok to disrespect costumers off of assumptions before they've even walked in and we didn't eat there and left. read more
