I went in for my consultation on a Monday and they were able to schedule my procedure Friday of the same week. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming during my entire experience. Dr. Wilson explained everything that would need to be done very clearly and helped me to feel at ease. I opted for Exparel to be given during my procedure and it was definitely worth it. I experienced no pain during my recovery only mild soreness which was relieved with Tylenol. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and his team if you find yourself in need of oral surgery. I became a little discouraged when I didn't get called back until 30 minutes after my appointment but I quickly realized this is a facility where they are doing some major surgeries and procedures, so it makes sense that a single thing or two could cause a delay for my appointment late in the day. All of the staff was professional and helpful, providing in depth explanation of what to expect and what the next steps would be. He fit me for a night guard, when it come in it was to tight, very uncomfortable, gave me headaches, felt it was going to pop off my front veneers. He kept telling me it fine. With much convincing he FINALLY filed it down some (hard uncomfortable plastic). I was told go home try it out for a few nights. I had to come back still too tight. Went through this a few times before they made a 2nd night guard. No new impression was done. New night guard exact same issues. Did a 3 night guard, again no impressions done. 3rd night, again exactly the same problems. This time when filing it down it punctured a hole in it. We went back to the 2nd night guard. They filed that one down again. Now the filing of night guard #2 makes it flop around in my mouth and adjust my bite during the night. In the morning my bite is off. Dr. Ahlawat told me that's normal for the guard to do that. I've had night guards for years never had one readjust my bite, it's not a retainer. I went to another dentist for 2nd opinion. I was told not to use that night guard due to the wobbling and the changes in my bite. Go back use my old one I had previous to Dr. Ahlawat. Spoken with the doctor in person, on the phone several times, he will not entertain refunding my money for the night guard I'm unable to use. IMPLANT -Dr. Ahlawat did a couple implants in my mouth (no unfortunately I'm not new to the world of dental issues). I needed 3 implants however due to cost I asked if it was necessary to do implant on tooth 15, upper quadrant, he said no. Come to find out by not doing that implant on 15, the lower teeth will start rising up looking for the upper tooth for biting.

I'm going on 73 years old and this was a scary thing to face. Dr. Lemieux made me comfortable throughout the procedure and reassured me to call if I needed anything or had any questions.I opted for local numbing, no anesthesia. Now 24 hours later I have minimal pain. I likely won't need Ibuprofen today. I took Ibubrofen twice yesterday. I was definitely in some pain once the numbing medicine wore off.

Desert Springs Dental & Dr Shandy Condie name was highly recommended by several of them. I scheduled my initial exam (pretty easy to schedule in a timely manner) and had full mouth xrays and a dental cleaning - and Dr Condie dud the cleaning! She said for new patients, she likes to do the initial cleaning so she can get to know the patient and their teeth. Really great dentist and an excellent staff and office support.

He reviewed my X-rays with with me and listened to my concerns. We both came to conclusion that one (not all 4) need to come out. I felt comfortable with the decision and appreciated his honesty. The day of surgery, I was very nervous, but the staff was very comforting. Before I knew it, the surgery was over. Dr Porter called me himself later that afternoon to check on me and answer any questions after that the anesthetic wore completely off. I actually decided on this office due to a positive Yelp review from Meg K. and was happy to learn my insurance was accepted as well. The consultation was very informative and I didn't feel pressured into doing more than needed for the grafting, so I decided to move forward in getting my surgery done by Dr. Tandy. Last Friday I had my first of two rounds of grafting done and it went better than I anticipated. The staff here is just great. Very professional, understanding, fun, and helpful. Dr. Tandy, Christie, and Sadia are all amazing and I am actually excited to see them soon for my next round. Reasons why this office is wonderful: 1. You get this awesome complimentary Shea Butter Lip Balm which appears to be custom made by Dr. Tandy. 2. The Relaxation Room is so cool! There is an awesome massage chair, tranquil music, and even blankets to keep you relaxed prior to surgery. 3. The staff is so much fun! While still completely professional, I can't stop laughing while I am visiting due to all of their jokes :) 4.
