Desert Springs Dental & Dr Shandy Condie name was highly recommended by several of them. I scheduled my initial exam (pretty easy to schedule in a timely manner) and had full mouth xrays and a dental cleaning - and Dr Condie dud the cleaning! She said for new patients, she likes to do the initial cleaning so she can get to know the patient and their teeth. Really great dentist and an excellent staff and office support.

However, the replacement was super thin and cheap and broke the first time I wore it. To replace it was $150 per piece. When their cheap replacement broke a SECOND TIME, they charged me again but this time $300 per piece. They said they mixed up my dental chart with another patient for the price the first time. The fact that this office has mixed up my medical records is also deeply concerning to me--how many other times have they mixed up my information or charged me for a patient with the same name? All in all, I'm done paying hundreds of dollars for cheap retainers that continue to break by simply removing them from my teeth. I will not be returning here.

It has now been nearly three months, and I still have no treatment plan, no cost, and no follow-up of any kind. For something as serious as an infection, you would expect some urgency or at least basic communication. I've called, but now have given up. The lack of professionalism, follow-through, and concern for patient health is honestly shocking. If you're looking for a dental office that actually communicates, I would recommend going somewhere else.
