2-Egg American Breakfast
Phaithe N.

Comfort diner providing appetizing American and Grecian fare. Serving happy hour daily from 12pm-5pm is a fun treat! The restaurant has ample space for diners to enjoy, and there's a slot machine room in the back. The server, Maria, is one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She really knows her stuff!

Chicken Caesar wrap with avocado

Great service and the food was promptly served. The waitress was really nice, and explained the menu with great detail when we asked. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with seasoned fries, and added fresh slice avocado and it was delicious. I also tried the creamy lemon soup and it was just perfect. The bread basket was such a great compliment to the soup. Will definitely be back to try some more items in the menu.

Maria was an amazing waitress! Always making sure we were taken care of and just sweet as can be. Food was cooked perfectly and took no time at all to come out. All and all a great experience all around!

I come to this place a lot! It has such a cute and cozy atmosphere and the food is always on point. We tried the strawberry milkshake this time and it was so good.

Sad service. Actually no service after sitting with 4 servers walking by for 12 minutes. We left. Good luck folks.

I used to love this place but the new owners are charging extra fees for using a credit/debit card. They won't be getting my business

Great Food and Warm Hospitality, but the Building Needs Attention…read more Saban's Place delivers where it counts in the kitchen, no question there, and the overall experience is shaped by the fact that this is, first and foremost, a regulars' hangout. If you're part of the long-time crowd, and enjoy a good cocktail, (or many), everything about the place probably feels exactly right. For people visiting for the first time, a few things stand out. The food remains the strongest part of the experience. My fried chicken was cooked perfectly - crispy, juicy, and generously portioned with four pieces. The salad was fresh, sides were solid, and the kitchen clearly knows its craft. Hospitality also reflects that "family-first" energy. The welcome at the door felt sincere, the staff seemed to know half the room by name, and there's a comfort in that old-school, locals-only atmosphere. Service was acceptable but uneven. Our server was friendly, but clearly had too many stations. So drink refills lagged and follow-up took longer than it should. It wasn't a deal-breaker - just not as sharp as it could be if there were the right number of staff for the room. Where the gap really shows up is in the facility itself. The vintage charm is intact, but so are the worn chairs, tables, and floors, and the bathrooms need a serious update, re-fixturing, and regular cleaning during service hours. Regulars may see it as part of the charm - and that's fair - but for a fresh set of eyes, it reads as deferred maintenance. Bottom line: excellent food and genuine people. Just know you're stepping into a place built around the comfort of its regulars, and everything gets better after an old-fashioned or two. Every place gets a second chance, as the regulars here prove, so I will go back and try it again.

The atmosphere was very "we're better than you," which is ambitious considering half the room looked genetically connected to famine survivors and dock workers. The confidence level in that building deserves scientific study. I walked in expecting casual dining and somehow ended up in what felt like an audition for "Medieval Lords of the Suburbs." The staff acted like they were protecting ancient bloodlines instead of refilling ranch dressing. At one point I honestly wanted to ask: "Sir, are you judging me... while wearing a polo shirt with barbecue sauce on it?" The energy was aggressively holier-than-thou for a place where the main cultural contribution is fried appetizers and vodka seltzer. To be fair, the food was fine. But the side of racial superiority was a little harassing for my ego. Beautiful naturally redheaded bartenders girls though ‍

She would pass our table and not even look at us Eventually I had to yell "HEY!" to get her attention. The food was terrible. I had the lamb and asked for it rare, it was well done and like shoe leather. The broccoli was basically steamed with no flavor at all. The good news was our dog got to eat 90% of it because it was pretty inedible for human consumption. My wife said hers was basically a minor upgrade from Olive Garden. In the end the best thing was the bread. It was actually very good bread but paying $160.00 for bread was a teeny bit high. I get it, it was a busy night but in those instances if you overbook you step up the service or at least try to give AF about your clientele' by having the head person go table to table and make sure people are getting what they should. Clearly they did NOT Give AF, They were only there to pimp out money for themselves. Totally disappointed.

I recommend a larger bowl. The server was friendly. I gave it 3 stars because it's absolutely filthy! I came right when they opened on a weekday, and the floors weren't cleaned from the night before. Literally food in the corners. Also, the table next to me filled with crumbs. When a group sat there, they wiped all the crumbs with their hand-eek! The table is so grimy that it's literally sticky! If you look at the trim, gate, condiments container, lights, and furniture- you can see loads of dust and grime. This place needs a GOOD clean down!
