Our room was on the 4th floor which is the top floor, and very clean. We appreciated the extra space with the couch area. There also was a microwave and mini fridge in the room, but not a full kitchen like other suite hotels I've stayed at. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast, waffles, oatmeal, eggs and bacon. The eggs were terrible and rubbery but the coffee was top notch. The lobby also had a bar with about 5 high top seats and plenty of tables. I'd recommend staying here but make sure you bring your own pillows since there was very flat!

I felt like the breakfast was not as good in quality nor amount of options as competitors in the same category (Hyatt House/Place brands tend to be much better). My room was well appointed and the separate seating area and work desk were great for keeping my travel bags and dinner away from the bed. The bathroom was clean, everything worked, and the AC was strong. I had forgotten something at home and asked the front desk if they had one (dental & shaving kit). These are items specifically listed by Marriott as complimentary and available, so I knew that they had them. However, the employee I interacted with had no idea what I was talking about. In the end I went back to breakfast, and by the time I was finished another employee had come on duty and shown the first guy what I was talking about. Hopefully these service gaps improve over time. I would stay here again if I had business or an event in the area.

The hotel staff, including the valets, are wonderful, engaging, and helpful people. Same with the bartenders and kitchen staff. Everyone's fantastic. Special recognition for LeeMarilyn at check-in, Laurie at the bar, and the phenomenal Miguel who is one exceptional valet. Art abounds, in every nook and cranny with sweeping themes from animals to the circus to fortune telling and to an array of warm colors. Even in our excellent, spotless room, which was above the "Moxy" sign, the cool themes carried over. We had floor to ceiling windows, which welcomed in the city. The queen size bed was by far the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel and we have traveled much over the years. The outstanding shower easily accommodates two adults. Since this is a boutique hotel, the rooms may be smaller, but that only added to the comfort level. We actually enjoyed not having the run-of-the-mill microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker because this is not that kind of property. Every corner of the hotel is fun and engaging. To be completely sincere, if my girlfriend and I could by an apartment at the Moxy, we'd do so immediately. We plan on returning sooner to stay a bit longer.

This hotel is one of the cleanest Ive stayed in. One thing I noticed, and it might sound strange, is the smell. There was none. No odd smell. No strong smell of cleaners or chemicals. Just fresh and neutral. The bed and dressings were very comfortable. There is very little noise from inside the hotel such as the hallway or adjoining rooms. I assume its due to solid walls and the way it was built back in the day. There is noticable street noise such as loud stereos and exhausts but its not a hotel issue and wasn't horrible. Weekends might be a bit louder. But, again, not the hotels fault Self parking was easy at the city garage a short walk down the street. Perfect location downtown. When In doing business here, this will be my go-to hotel.

They did not tell me this when I called, they did not call ahead of time. They did not appraise us of the situation when we arrived. They sent us to a one bedroom suite. When I had to go to the front desk, they said that the hotel was booked and couldn't help further. They did not have anyone onsite who could address the situation. When the manager, CeCe, arrived she did not apologize. She did eventually find another room to accommodate us. Before we arrived they should have had a plan in place. When we got the room, there was no crib and air conditioning did not work. We discussed both concerns with the front desk at that time. We did not receive a crib until 11pm. We did not receive the promised portable AC until the next day. If those things had been addressed the hotel was nice, the bed was fantastic. You could tell it has beautiful bones and has real potential. I also want to say that one employee- the youngest lady at the front desk was working very hard, hunted down the crib and personally delivered it. She was there again first thing in the morning and was truly apologetic about the ac units.

(Doors are locked by 10pm). LOOOVEd that they are highly secured! You have to use a code and a card swipe when coming in and leaving even at the elevator doors I believe! . Your room as well!.. The Classic Room with the jetted tub& shower was a niiice touch! The Bed soooo super comfy!! we didn't want to get up!! We slept so comfortably and A/C you can control it was heavenly. The Housekeeping was great!! We just asked for Towels they changed your whole room!! . All your belongings are there from start to your exit!! Terrible Experience -- Management Needs to Do Better…read more My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Section A residents seem to make the experience uncomfortable for paying guests, and it feels like the people who actually pay to stay here are not being treated as a priority. When problems happen, the workers don't seem to do anything to resolve the situation. Instead, it feels like they take the other side rather than listening to paying customers and addressing their concerns fairly. Guests should be able to feel safe, comfortable, and respected during their stay. Management needs to take complaints seriously, enforce hotel rules consistently, and make sure every guest is treated fairly. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

It's clear that the entire staff takes care of this place from top to bottom. At the front desk, you may meet Danny who is kind, professional, and helpful. I may not have had the chance to meet the other team members (from front desk personnel to housekeeping), but they all worked well together and there were smiles all around. That makes for one amazing group of people who care about what they do -- and it shows. Mark was the bartender our two nights at the property. He makes an excellent gin martini as well as a cosmopolitan. Like Danny, he's kind, helpful, and pleasant, and he served our meals at the bistro. Although one must pay for breakfast (served in the bistro), the hotel does have quiet hours, which only made our weekend even more special. My girlfriend and I cannot wait to return to enjoy another exceptional stay.

I'd recently been staying at…read morelower-end Marriott properties for work, and this hotel was comparable in price, but far superior in everything else - customer service, features, cleanliness, etc. Parking seemed to be a bit of an issue when I checked in on a Thursday evening - not in terms of availability, but proximity to the either of the two entrances. Luckily, I was able to nab one of the closest parking spots to the front entrance after looping around the building. My initial thought was that it was very quiet. Perhaps I was on a floor by myself, but I didn't hear or see anyone else on my floor during my one-night stay. I really loved my room. It was contemporary-styled and comfortable with plenty of light fixtures and a floor to ceiling window. I especially liked the light over the sofa because it automatically turned off, and turned back on after it detected motion. The bed was also comfortable and soft with high quality foam pillows. There was a QR code by the bed, and when directed to the website contained a list of information and hotel policies. One of those policies was in regard to delivery orders. Deliveries cannot be left at the front desk or taken to your room by the driver/carrier. They must be picked up in the lobby, which was fairly simple to follow. After check-out I had left clothes in the closet and didn't realize until hours later. I called the front desk and was able to coordinate picking them up after housekeeping checked the room for my items and collected them. I really appreciate Amanda's promptness and level of customer service whilst assisting me over the phone. My only dissatisfaction was that I didn't receive hand soap in the bathroom, but otherwise it was a much needed and unrealized change from Marriott.

The heating and cooling system is equally wonderful. The bathroom is well lit and comes with a very welcoming shower. Additionally, the rooms are quiet and the elevators are some of the best I've seen in an Allentown hotel. Needless to say, the security is top notch. My girlfriend and I cannot wait to return. And when we do, we want to try their awesome looking pool and fitness room.
