Needed the 'service required' computer message to be reset. Sadly I bought my car used and it had no manual. One of the two female employees knew right what to do after three males didn't. Some of the work he did for me I had also gotten quoted at another shop and his out-the-door price was considerably lower than what I was quoted. That was my first time in. I just took my 2012 Kia soul which is extremely high mileage to him for some work. I had been having issues with my charging system and several places I went to (Auto Parts places) said my alternator was fine and my battery was fine. I described the issues I had to Jon and as I suspected he found the alternator was bad. It was not charging the battery properly and was not putting out the full voltage required. I had priced alternators for this car and a quality alternator was approximately $375 at an auto parts store if I did the labor. Jon charged me about $375 for a lifetime warranty alternator and less than $100 for the installation. He also had it ready a day earlier than promised. Once again freedom Automotive earned my five star review. I found out that Jon had also worked at a Kia dealership early in his career. He also did work for a friend of ours who was told that their Isuzu diesel delivery truck needed a new fuel pump for over $1,500. His diagnosis was that the second fuel filter was clogged and the fuel pump was fine. His work saved them close to $1,000. Before you go somewhere else and get a misdiagnosis I would call Freedom. By the way he is moving his his business to a larger location in Willis. Look for his new location. You will be glad you did.
