I've never had a veggie stew that made me want to go back for more. The black rice was so good you could eat it by itself. The Mac and cheese was also good. The portion of the dishes were so big for the price. Big enough that I shared it with someone and was able to eat from it 4 times total. Do not confuse this dish with Jamaican Callaloo, which is made from taro (dasheen) leaves and is often combined with salt fish. The owners make their own passionfruit and ginger juice. The ginger juice is potent. It is stronger than any ginger beer that I have ever tasted. I have to dilute it with some water. I am only giving this deli three stars because it is a new business that must iron out some kinks. For one, sometimes all the daily specials are not put out by noon.
