Leon, who is extremely enthusiastic and just down right a cool cat, greated me at the window. I was torn between jerk shrimp or jerk chicken, but went with this recommendation based on how substantial the chicken portion is. It was ready in only 15 minutes and once I got home, I quickly dug in. I was on the nautical mile with a friend and we wanted to get a small bite so we decided to try the mac & cheese at jerk on the water and it did not disappoint! It was super cheesy and creamy well worth the $6! It was made to order so when it came out, it was piping hot. They have outdoor seating on the side of the restaurant overlooking the water. This place is shockingly good. Only done take out or delivery. The jerk pork is awesome. Jerk chicken and jerk wings are both great. Fries must be great in person if they're still very good after being delivered. Rasta pasta is another one of my favorites here. The Cole slaw is plain but in a good way. Came here last Sunday with my mom after a long day out. We ordered the Jerk Salmon and the Brown stew fish. They said the wait would be 25 minutes, but we wended up waiting a good 45 minutes for our food and it was so expensive. $73 for 2 meals that we could get for no more than $40 at Tropical Jerk or Golden Crest, or that I could make myself honestly. The waiting area outside is really small and if there's a crowd, you're not getting a seat. We had to take our food back home even though we got there before the crowd but because the wait was long we lost a seat. The saving grace was that the food was pretty good. I think the stew fish was better than the salmon. Also the chef was nice as he'd seen we'd be waiting for a long time and rushed our food out. The staff was kind all in all. If it weren't for the wait and the price though I'd give the place a higher rating. read more
