I was in a very bad car accident, spend 3 weeks in coma 2,5 months in ICU. It left me with traumatic brain injury. I see Erika to improve functions and strength of my right arm, she is the most caring and professional therapist I've met in LA, besides her knowledge she is also very cheerful and supportive. Michael is my speech therapist, when I came for the first time, I had severe issues with speech and memory, it was very hard to process information as well. After working with him my friends and family started to see drastic difference in my recovery, every function of my brain improved. Not only I am able to express myself without apraxia hitting me unexpectedly I can say the whole phrase and say it right, I can have a normal conversation now! He gave me a few memory techniques to use, and you know what, I think every person should know these techniques, it helps so much. He also very kind and respectful therapist. I am happy to be in a good, professional care like Williams therapy. I can go on but I would like to be on point here, with that kind of disability I have seen a lot of medical specialist around Los Angeles, and there was not many of them with such passion to help people heal, period. The stuff are amazing, girls on the reception are very polite, attentive, will go all the way out to accommodate you and your requests. This clinic was impossible to work with! We tried for weeks to try to get them to confirm that they would use our insurance. And it took another month to get an appointment for the initial assessment for my son. Then once the assessment was done it took another month to get an appointment to start to receive speech! when you arrive there there's no front office or or reception or anyone to speak to. When you arrive at their offices, there's no one there to receive you. You just have to walk into room and a speech therapist who happens to be walking by will let another speech Therapist know you're available. and schedulers work from home or remotely so it's impossible to get in touch with them through a regular phone line and texting them is a big joke as well. I honestly don't know what's going on there. I assume that maybe they were going out of business and everything was falling apart. I couldn't tolerate working like this with my son speech therapy at stake so after six months of playing phone tag and texting we finally gave up and found another therapist. read more

I was referred to Williams Therapy through my insurance company and boy did I luck out with getting assigned Micheal to me as my speech therapist. He worked with me to help with my constant vocal fatigue from my daily job, and I now have the tools to avoid losing my voice, or even worse, causing damage to it. Thankful for the ease in scheduling with the staff, and especially for the patience and specific education and information Micheal gave me to understand the root of the problem and how to overcome it. read more

I attempted for two weeks to get clearance from their "eligibility and benefits department," only to be told after calling them for the third time that they are currently "negotiating" with "all insurance companies" and are not taking new patients. This is despite them being listed as taking new patients online in at least four different places. It took them so long to let me know that they could not help me, that I could have found someone else to help me in that time. Incredibly irresponsible staff at this office. I would not try getting occupational therapy from people who cannot properly navigate their OWN occupations. STRONGLY recommend looking for someone else before you hand money out of pocket to these people. read more

I worked with Erika when I had carpal tunnel. She is very knowledgeable in her field and was able to explain my treatment plan along with their policies very well. After a few weeks of working with Erika, my symptoms went away 100%. Erika also advised me on ergonomics for my workspace and what products she believes are best to prevent further work place injuries. I rarely comment on Yelp, but I have to give credit where it's due. I worked here during my rotation as an Occupational Therapy Assistant student (currently in the process of receiving my license). What I really love about William's Therapy Services is that everyone here is welcoming and works as a team. When everyone works as a team, this means the treatment and quality of care will be cohesive. These days it is so hard to find quality care. The owners Erika and Micheal are very knowledgeable as well as the other therapists. They provide care for a diverse group of individuals with an array of injuries/disabilities which makes them so unique. Let me start off by saying the therapist for my son was great but the staff made it horrible to schedule any appointments. I am a single mother and Therefore I work from 4am-3:30pm. I informed the staff several times I was unable to book early in the day since I work and they would not listen and let me know they only had in the mornings, I had to call out several times to be able to take my son to therapy since they never had any afternoon appointments. I would contact them 2 weeks prior to book an appointment and they always informed they had nothing available since I told them I would not call of work to work with their schedule. Overall do not waste your time here. They do not care about your child but about the bill they charge afterwards. read more

We had a wonderful year with a therapist here ... unfortunately with in the last 3 months things have drastically changed My son had been discriminated and refused services Due to cancellation made in reasonable time and with a valid very important resin/excuse. Rure impertinent and unprofessional office staff has made us make the decision to leave this clinic We will Not stand as parents and allow office staff personnel to treat us as nothing more that just a bill. We are patients an important element to their business. A $50 cancellation fee Re refusal and cancellation of all services tru a snarky unprofessional text message isn't the way to communicate effectively with parents and patients . We cancelled a session with a very valid excuse and In a timely matter. In such matter now we forever cancel any services trough this office and will never refer anyone here. Out insurance and pediatric referral office have been notified . We are now happily conectes again with a wonderful speech therapy office My son shall continue his therapy which he is entitled to! Our family love Micheal and Erika, they are very good with our daughter. They also educate me to be a better mother for my daughter. My daughter has been receiving speech therapy and occupational therapy for almost 5 months from them, and we see significant improvement in our daughter, at school and at home. I had the pleasure of completing my fieldwork for OT school here at the beginning of the year. I had an amazing experience working with the fun and caring staff at this location. This place offers occupational, speech, and physical therapy ! Seeing the way the multi-disciplinary team at WSTS collaborates to ensure an optimal experience for their patients taught me so much. I've only been to this place for 6 months and they have helped me out soooo much!! Cassandra is my speech therapist and she has always done her best to help improve my speech and voice. She knows which exercises and assignments to use with me every week and it has really made a difference, I even have more confidence speaking to people. Becky has also helped me a lot with occupational therapy. She made the perfect braces for my hands that are a bit disfigured. The entire staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. Normally I come on Yelp when my experience is great but it was not in this case. The negative reviews are 100% accurate. Please do not bring your child here, there is numerous of great therapist around the area that are completely worth it an example is Beyond Therapy Medical Group (Tiffany Alyesh MS CCC SLP). This therapy group is the one I switched after having this horrible experience at Williams Therapy. The staff are incredibly unprofessional at William Therapy Services, they will ignore your calls and are not willing to work as a team to make this an easy experience. As parents you are dealing with so much at the moment with your child and their needs and this Therapy service makes it more difficult and a very stressful more than it should. PLEASE.. The first day went very well- I got the information I needed to figure out what was wrong with the pain occurring in my wrist that has lasted over a year now. Ever since the exercises that were given by the nurse were entirely unhelpful and provided no improvements at all (confirmed by my current hand therapist). The exercises they provided me either kept my condition the same or made it worse. The second and third appointments only lasted 15 minutes each, and none of the questions I asked were answered accurately. All responses ended with "I think, I'm not sure," highlighting the lack of professionalism and knowledge this medical office has. This was an absolute waste of my money and time. They emphasize that they will charge you if you come in late, and yet they would bring me in 15-30 minutes after the call time of my appointment. The doctor was uninterested in helping me as my request to work with her was ignored and I was stuck with the same lackluster nurse who has little to no knowledge to give me helpful answers. On top of that, I would ask them after every appointment what the fee was. However, after the third appointment, the staff charged me without even giving a heads up, even though I got verbal confirmations after each appointment that there are no charges. There is a major lack of care to help in this environment. I would highly recommend anyone to find another place and to never consider or recommend this place to anyone. read more

The staff at this clinic are incompetent and very unprofessional. They continuously lied about their policies and procedures for new patients and gave me the run around for almost a month having me and my pediatrician send over our information 3 times because they are so disorganized. Then a few days later when I STILL don't hear back and call for the 4th time they tell me 'sorry we are booked.' Strangely their explanations never added up and kept changing.
