I'm asymptomatic. Recently, hip pain was diagnosed with a decrease in joint space and arthritis and instead of expecting suggestions of hip replacement surgery the doctor suggested physical therapy. It took 30 visits to relieve the arthritic pain in my right hip. Again, combinations of heat, ultrasound and very directed exercises to strengthen surrounding support muscles. Per MRI, my rotator cuff was torn from this negligent action. Afterwards, I put in several requests at the desk as well as by phone to speak with supervisor Erika Leal. I also had requested the desk staff to document the incident/injury and it never was. Naturally, I never went back. The supervisor never responded to my phone messages and as far as Select Physical Therapy was concerned my injury there never happened. Its a shame as if its happening to me, its happening to others. A definately stressful environment. I was just bringing all of my records today? I do not feel anyone should be medically treated with a preexisting severe injury, before notes are read and x rays viewed.
