Another issue was that, an agreement about workshop rules were given to the attendees to sign after they had already registered and paid the workshop fees. It is normally the other way around! attendees should know what they are getting into before paying the money. She does not have any refund policy, so if you do not sign the agreement, the only option is to forget about your money and leave! Another issue was that she spent a big chunk of the workshop time advertising the next round of the workshop and giving special offers if the attendees register inside the workshop. Very unfair use of time.

Michele Sherman is an incredible human and therapist, and I highly recommend her for talk therapy…read moreand EMDR. Michele is very empathetic and an incredible listener. She not only takes in and remembers what you share, but she is able to see the bigger picture of where you are and what you're experiencing. I found this to be very helpful because sometimes when your brain feels all over the place, having someone who can unravel the string to reflect where you're at can be so validating and helpful. Her style of therapy, along with EMDR, felt solution-based, which worked well for me. She'd ask if I wanted to talk or do EMDR, and regardless of which I chose, it felt like during each session we were able to focus on a specific challenge or wound and do healing work to understand where the pain was stemming from. I've had many therapists, and Michele is by far my favorite. I felt huge shifts and growth from my time working with her. It was noticeable in every aspect of my life. In other therapy sessions I've left feeling confused, like I didn't know what I'd accomplished. With Michele, I always knew what we were addressing during the session and it felt applicable to my life and healing.
