I've been on the hunt for a great behavioral provider for my son for the past year and I finally found this gem of a provider. The clinical director met with me for a free consultation and carefully answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of questions)! She was so kind and helpful and never made me feel rushed or bad for asking a million questions...she's amazing and so is their team. My daughter has been receiving services from LBC for over a year now, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. The therapy is top-notch and effective and has made a huge difference in my daughter's behavioral issues. Soon after she attended summer camp at LBC last year, our first experience with LBC, she received a certificate for good citizenship at school, something I would have never thought possible! The staff and the center director, Mrs. G, are all very friendly and helpful, and I feel like we are part of the family there. They have gone out of their way many times to help us, including finding ways to help make it financially feasible. The scheduling is very flexible as well. The summer camps are awesome, jam-packed with kid-friendly activities and outings, but even the school-year sessions are a lot of fun for the kids. The kids are receiving valuable therapy while having fun and learning. Very detailed programs are created for each child depending on their needs and abilities and are constantly reviewed and updated as progress is made. Mrs. G is always available to answer questions and to help with concerns as they arise. Lbc has been a blessing for my child and for our entire family! When he first started with Lbc about 4 years ago his behaviors were so challenging and unmanageable. We were unable to do everyday things that families take for granted, i.e. going to a movie, the zoo or even the grocery store. Our son was aggressive, non-responsive and wouldn't engage with anyone. Today our son is loving and affectionate! He still has behaviors that we are working on but they are manageable now thanks to all the tools we've learned with Lbc. Ms. G , the clinical director, is always available for questions or concerns. Ms. Soltani, the program scheduler, is wonderful and she is always so happy to see our son. All of lbc's staff has been incredible. Learning and Behavioral Center, wow where do I even begin...I will forever be great full for this place. Having the ability to participate in their self management health care program has truly given me the opportunity to get my life back on track. Bita whom was my mentor is one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met, and was so so so encouraging during this process. Her positive reinforcements, her belief in me when I didn't even believe in myself at times encouraged me to take control of my own life. I HIGHLY recommend anybody to join. This center is wonderful and has been a blessing! My son has been attending for 2 years and is a completely different child from when I first brought him there. He has gone from me always getting a call from school to hearing nothing but great things from his teacher. He is far from perfect but I am happy with his results. The staff and the director Mrs. G treat my child like family. They even threw him a birthday party his 1st year there because none of the kids showed up.
