Immediate relief after years of self pain management…read more I had been to a few other physical therapists over the years each with their own idea of excersise/stretch routines to take home on a piece of paper to do my own follow up. Nothing was personalized, all just specific to my hip area and nothing ever got rid of the sciatica in which I lost several hours of sleep every night. Pain and less sleep was my new normal. Until I met Mae at Rehab Specialist Inc. I was pleasantly surprised during my first assessment appointment with Mae. She is personal, sensitive but strong and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She cared that I really understood what was going on, why I had the pain, why we were doing certain movements or what she was assessing. I felt that we were figuring out the issues together which began my journey to realize there was also a very mental part of therapy to handle the pain management. Thanks to Mae she also makes sure to incorporate this in our appointments and has been extremely beneficial in changing my mindset. Mae has made a huge change to my life and my daily routine. I am now back to doing simple things that I stopped doing because it hurt or I was afraid to injure it further. We have made a long term plan to continue to get stronger for some more extreme activities as well. I love that they have interest in my long term health! The receptionist is also great. She is attentive, sweet and take her time with me which is all much appreciated.

Unfortunately their next appointment was in 6 weeks, which falls very close to my due date. I was still hopeful to make an appointment, maybe someone would cancel or they could try to get more help? The girl on the phone was no help at all, she quite literally could not care less that i'm pregnant and in pain and in need of help. No sincerity, just flat out - no. As someone who works in healthcare you want to go somewhere that the people who work there have compassion. During my last pregnancy, I went to physical therapy west in woodland hills and they got me in right away and provided great care. Would highly recommend going there for your needs and not rehab specialists.

Ron, Ephraim, Elaine and everyone in the office were always friendly, compassionate and genuinely caring. They were always there for me and made me feel heard and understood. I was always afraid that after my ACL surgery, I would never be able to travel, walk or run the way I used to. But they made that possible. They made my dream of visiting Peru a reality. As I walked for several hours each day, hiked Rainbow Mountain and explored Machu Picchu, I found myself thanking Ron and Ephraim every step of the way. I'll always be grateful for everything they've done for me. I highly recommend South Pacific Physical Therapy to anyone looking for compassionate and professional physical therapy!

My first appointment was around Christmas/new years and they were able to fit in me quickly for the initial exam. I saw a few different people at first and just booked whoever was available, but started to book Ron and Ephraim since their time and availability always seemed to work with my schedule. I could definitely feel my knee/leg getting stronger and was often sore (in a good workout kind of way) and they never pushed me when I couldn't complete any sets. They really listened to feedback when I was sore and had pain and adjusted the entire workout around my feedback as well as the post workout treatment. I had a great experience with everyone including the front desk which was great with providing the receipts I needed for my hsa/fsa claims. Hopefully I won't be a repeat patient, but i won't hesitate to use them again if needed.

I started going to Dr.Jess in 2024 for knee pain that I developed through running. I found her on…read moresocial media, and contacted her with the information on her website. Before I found her, I was always told to just stop running to fix the issue, no one ever gave me an awnser like her. Through the consultation, she did several test(s) to determine that for my knee issue specifically, it was happening because I lacked quad strength (& that it's fixable!!) I will never forgot how happy and hopeful she made me feel. After that appointment, I also took strength classes with her which helped solidly the discipline and importance of strength training in my routine. Even after I stopped training with her, she always checked in with me to see how I was doing and let me know about the programs she had to offer over the summer such as her summer training program and several plyometric classes. Which btw I did both! And they are amazing! The summer program kept me in check with my training and goals, and the plyometric classes were a fun learning experience. Even after the programs/classes are over Dr.Jess was kind enough to provide us with the tools to succeed for after. Ive also done the running analysis (the video) and I thought it was interesting to learn about my running form, as well as information on how I can approve it. To conclude, Dr.Jess is amazing. I have gone to her for EVERYTHING. I can't even tell you how many times. She's passionate about the sport, and even when I hear her talk to others about their concerns, you can tell shes LISTENING and CARES and I love that the most about her. Thank you Dr.Jess!

Each time I have been a patient at PT West, my specific conditions have been assessed brilliantly, and personalized treatment plans have been created for each situation. I was originally referred to PT West by a family friend when I was looking for a new clinic. It is always great to have a personal referrence. Lucky for me, the location is very close to where I live, and I'm so glad that I found it. The first time that I was a patient, I had been given a particular diagnosis after an MRI. I was dealing with bad pain and came to PT West for several weeks without much improvement. I was doing everything that I was told to do, but there was no improvement. Well, my great physical therapist thought that maybe my diagnosis wasn't the cause of the issue after working with me, and it was suggested getting a second opinion. Well...I did that and it ended up leading me down the correct path that was needed! After two surgeries, I have been coming to PT West for PT, and everyone at the clinic is great! I love everyone at the front desk...they are super helpful and kind. Big shout outs to Abby and Darlene! My amazing therapist is Jiggs, and he is someone that I have gotten to know well over the years. He is a top-notch professional and I trust him implicitly. The PT Aides are super helpful, and I truly love each one! In addition to the great treatment that patients receive, I have to shout out one other thing. Parking is validated in a covered parking structure. So many healthcare providers no longer provide parking, so this perk is one that I love. During the hot summer days, I do not take this for granted. If you are seeking physical therapy, I highly recommend PT West. I have been treated with great care, like I am part of the family!

What do you mean I walked in with left knee pain and walked out without any! I've been hating life with this consistent pain and I'm writing this review 3 hours after therapy and my knee still feels great! Locations great, easy in, easy out. I did my research and had some referrals so I had high expectations walking in. From the friendly receptionist, clean bldg, and office space and friendly staff, I already knew I was going to be very happy here. I got seen almost right away too which was awesome! I had my consultation with Sean, great guy, super cool and very informative! After being seen, he walked me through on what steps we were going to take to make me feel better. I started having a hot flash before we got started and he totally understood where I was coming from because he has a wife who is going through the same thing and made me feel right at home talking about it. He set me up with Diego who was super friendly, very clear on what he was going to do and how I would feel and that was very helpful since I've never done physical therapy before. I can say with utmost confidence he has healing hands for sure. He gave me a deep tissue style massage around my knee and thigh and I think that alone made my knee feel better almost instantly. He helped me stretch a few different ways which felt so good afterwards. Lastly I ended the session with these things they put on my legs like compression coverings to help with circulation which was super gnarly and felt great, I'd like another please lol. The whole staff was happy, laughs and it really felt like they were a family and it was super nice to see and take part for the hour I was there. Everyone was very accommodating too. I'm short and needed a step up stool to get on the beds and it was no problem, got one right away and I really appreciated the super friendliness and thoroughness throughout this visit. I made a second appt for tomorrow, let's keep the momentum going. Note: I drove 45 min to go to this location because of the referrals I was given and for service like this, I'd do it over and over again each time, without hesitation. Thank you!! You MUST use them for your physical therapy needs. I'll take pics to add tomorrow. But they had a lil gym area, several rooms and beds, I saw people getting a massage or other services and the place was poppin!
