They had already agreed to pick up my child for OT services according to our coordinator. Very unprofessional and waste of time everyone's time. This review is long overdue. My autistic son was under the care of Behavior Trend from age 2 to 6. They provided him such high quality behavioral intervention and my son transformed completely. Nayfee, who was on his case for almost 3 years, is one of the best in the field. She never wasted a second during a session. She taught him how to eat, play, talk, change clothes, deal with emotions and literally everything that is essential for day-to-day life. Now he is a friendly kid with a big heart who loves every single person around him. I often joked that I didn't raise him, SHE raised him, but honestly what she did for him is a big part of his being. BCBA's and other therapists were also fantastic. They always went above and beyond. It's obvious that the owner, Ani, has incredibility high standard when it comes to hiring process. It is a scary thought that if we had never known Behavior Trend. Can't even imagine how my son would have turned out. He outgrew the age range they specialize in and we no longer receive their service but I often model after them in a difficult situation. This review is only based off the potty training service since we haven't started any other services (yet). A month ago I had a very stubborn almost 4 year old who insisted that his pee and poop belonged in a diaper. Preschool said he just wasn't ready even though my pediatrician (and frankly every other person who noticed he was still in diapers) told me we really needed to get on top of potty training. I was really at my wits end when we discovered this service at Behavior Trend. Ani and Samantha were heaven sent - true angels that knew exactly how to handle every hurdle we encountered. At the end of our first day working together I knew we would be successful and now, two weeks later, my son is going to the restroom all by himself! Even in public places! I am truly amazed!!! my son recently graduated from behavior trend. we decided to give them a try because we felt that lausd wasn't meeting his needs since my son is on the autism spectrum. so instead of enrolling him into kindergarten we decided to go with behavior trend he spent a year and half there. at first we were skeptical about the program but after meeting with the staff they assure us this was the place for my son. after a few weeks we right away notice my son wasn't acting up or throwing tantrums as he normally would have. when he would get upset instead of crying and throwing himself on the floor he would instead start to do breathing exercises. behavior trend helped out a lot more than i can explain. the clinic was nice and tidy and they have a system on operating their business. thank you once again behavior trend you guys rock!!' read more

I had the most excellent experience with Ani at Behavior Trend! I had been having issues with my son's behavior (throwing tantrums that were getting uncontrollable) and potty training. We were referred to Ani by a friend who has a child with Autism who kept raving about how Ani had changed their lives. She was able to teach me some concrete skills that changed both my son's behavior and our relationship with him. The difference is night and day and I am so grateful to her.
