The staff are generally helpful, the store is well stocked, and it feels like they take pride in keeping this location in good shape. It might not be the newest or flashiest Target, but it has great energy, good selection, and a welcoming vibe. Proud to have this as my local Target. Employees are very helpful and friendly, and can often be seen restocking merchandise. I think it comes down to how I feel when I think of going there, specifically the one in Brea. This isn't a grocery store - why do we have to pay for bags? I'm buying bottles of wine & dishes, picture frames - if I buy dishes and home decor at Macy's, I'm not required to buy a bag. It was always part of my Christmas tradition to make Cost Plus my first stop for gifts - but a couple of Christmases ago, I bought a whole cart full of wine & food gifts. I was not allowed to take the cart to my car, I had to leave the cart in the store and trust that the employee helping me wouldn't be pulled away by time I brought my car around. And it was raining by the way. Once upon a time, the store would reward members with a $10.00 birthday gift. That got changed to a discount.
