My partner and I were walking around the mall of millennia store when we stopped into Williams-Sonoma. It's been quite a hot minute since I've been in the store; I completely forgot they also sold food as well as cocktail mixers. I picked up some elderflower simple syrup that was only at $16 and it's a pretty big bottle. I will be using the simple syrup and a cocktails I make with different types of gin! The whole store was very organized. Each item has its own location I'm going to have to come back to the cake pans because they are absolutely marvelous. Also the stainless steel garlic press I really liked as well. They had a couple of Disney products as well they had a limited edition salt and pepper grinder that was the shape of a Mickey head as well as a Star Wars waffle maker and a Mickey Mouse waffle maker. The lady at the counter was very nice and checking us out and signing us up for coupons; or their email system that they do. I will definitely be returning to purchase some of those cake pans - if you're looking for different kitchen supplies especially coffee presses by highly recommend Williams-Sonoma in the millennia mall. Oh I also forgot to mention that they have their own pride collection which I LOVE. They had a crockpot type of item that had a rainbow on the side, they had their own mug set that was pride collection, they also had pride cookies and candies; as well as a pride themed cocktail mixer. Would not have guessed Williams-Sonoma to be pride friendly but evidently they are I absolutely love this!

    The spatula know me well.

Williams-Sonoma is the Tommy Bahama store for kitchen stuff. They have the same word-flow and pricing. There was a $50+ Garlic Press, $22 margarita mix, and a sampler of 3 bourbon mixers for $39.99. You can find similar items, even with the same brands, for a better price at other stores. Know your prices before you go. They DO have some decent sales which is great. I ordered some things online in the past, but always like stopping in to browse for gadgets and gizmos and goodies. If you do get an email from them, do NOT click on anything in the email or they'll hound you to buy it!

I was shopping around for a Le Creuset cast iron skinny grill and a 2 1/2 Qt. French Oven. Williams-Sonoma had both on sale and in my favorite color. The store was well stocked, clean and organized. They provided excellent customer service.

A Walk Through IKEA: A Test of Stamina, Direction, and Job Flexibility…read more January 10, 2026 My first serious trip to IKEA made me realize that this is not just a furniture store. It's a carefully designed one-way journey. The layout is extremely thoughtful--so thoughtful that it's almost impossible to visit just one section. Whether you're there to buy a single mug or simply "have a look," you will be guided through the entire store. I managed to do even better than that. I got lost. Not only did I get lost, I walked part of it twice. The most important detail: I was wearing four-inch stilettos. In IKEA, those are not shoes. They're a personal challenge. After what felt like a full hike, I finally reached the exit and thought I was done. That's when the real test began - checkout. Most stores at least give you options: self-checkout or cashier-assisted checkout. IKEA is very decisive. Self-checkout only. So there I was, scanning items, bagging them myself, slowly realizing I had taken on a new role. The screen even politely asked: "Are you a member?" I couldn't help laughing. I had just become a temporary cashier, without an employee discount, and without a paycheck. And then came the final surprise. At the exit - nothing. At Costco, for example, there's always someone checking receipts. At IKEA, the exit is completely empty. For a moment, you might think this reflects IKEA's deep trust in its customers. Then another thought occurs to you: maybe they also saved the salary of that employee. By the end of this IKEA trip, I had completed: a full-store walk, a detour with repetition, a high-heel endurance test, a self-checkout internship, and a quiet reflection on trust and cost control. Next time, I'll wear flat shoes. As for the salary and staff discount - I won't get my hopes up. I spent $53.69 in total that day. $29.95 went to pear-flavored sparkling water. Which means over half of my IKEA budget was... hydration. IKEA: where your legs get a workout, your patience is tested, and your self-checkout skills improve... all in one visit. I guess I overestimated my ability to wear high heels. I may have slightly overestimated my high-heel endurance. In hindsight, I clearly overestimated my ability to survive IKEA in high heels. I confidently assumed I could handle high heels at IKEA. I was wrong.

That said, I am very pleased. You want to use these guys for your project! They have the best vendors. Friendly, hard working and respectful of your home. They all worked seemlessly together. I am confident in their workmanship. Zelmar was very professional as well. The guidance they gave in selection was spot on. Little details we would never notice was very helpful. My favorite things about Zelmar are the straightforward advice, strong vendors, quality materials/workmanship and timely completion. This family-owned business works with you on overall design and materials. Then, they select one of their teams to estimate the plumbing and contracting work as separate estimates. You also order your fixtures and glass directly from recommended vendors. While this sounds complicated, Zelmar kept all the moving parts on schedule. Easy peasy. They gave me solid advice on what could and could not be done. This led me to make smarter design decisions. They recommended a layout which was much better than I originally envisioned. Their plumbing and contracting partners were outstanding. Easy to work with, strong execution, respectful while in my home and cleaned up after themselves. In particular, the attention to detail by Coates Contracting made me a fan. Little things like the placement of tiles so the grain continues, the level surfaces, etc. Home improvement projects can be so stressful, but this one was not. It was on time, on budget and exactly as envisioned. I highly recommend and have already sent a colleague their way.
