I will browse this store until the cows come home and once they're in the barn, well, that's when I'll buy! I love walking through and getting ideas or finding a kitchen gadget I hadn't considered before. Oh and I need to purchase a barn somewhere. Everything is always displayed in eye-catching fashion. Help is located in the center so you always know who to ask as you walk the outer perimeter. Oh, I also need to put in an order for a cow or two. Without those cows coming home I'll never get that new toaster oven!

Attended pesto making class May 18. It was well organize, good instructions, provided printed list of recipe ingredients. Staff was helpful with on line purchase.

This is the return policy that the customer is supposed to read BEFORE buying anything!

BUYER BEWARE! Do not purchase food items from Williams Sonoma- They have no RETURN/REFUND policy. I purchased lemon shortbread cookies for $34.95! The cookies were dry and tasteless. I took them back to the store the next day and was told that for health reasons, there were no returns on food. Health reasons?!?!? I didn't expect them to re-sell the damn cookies. There was nothing on the receipt that said no returns, in fact the receipt indicated the return period. The sales person said 'sorry' WILLIAM SONOMA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THEIR FOOD- Amazon, Gelsons, Trader Joe's and all other stores guarantee their food. Almost $35 for inedible cookies. I will never shop there again. It's not like they're the only store in town. SHAME ON THEM!!!

I have always enjoyed shopping at any Williams-Sonoma store, as it is so neat with small sale items spread throughout the store. The appearance of their products are so appealing, and the seasons or holidays dictate the displays and offers that are sometimes great deals. I've found January and July the best times to shop for deals, as they have marked down Christmas cookware and also midyear inventory they must move for the upcoming holidays and slow summer shopping.

There's not a lot of Williams Sonoma retail stores, so it's nice to see this here. Williams Sonoma has high quality kitchen housewares. It's a fun store to shop in if you love your kitchen and cooking. Parking can be tough right now with the construction going on in the parking lot, I think in preparation for the Manhattan Village face-lift renovation in 2019.

By far the worst experience, the older women who work here are so rude , maybe unknowingly but it made me never want to come back again.

Yelp review -- 0 star Title: Open on a holiday, but terrible…read morecustomer service and a threatening confrontation I stopped into South Bay Industrial Hardware today (Nov 11, 2025) because they were open on the holiday and I needed a can of Fix-A-Flat. The owner, John, completed the sale but the can I bought had a leak at the top of the hose -- something I've used before and never had an issue with. I explained that the tube looked tightly packed and might have been damaged in packaging, and asked to exchange it. Instead of listening, John stared at the can suspiciously and acted as if I was being dishonest. He reluctantly let me exchange it but warned that if the replacement didn't work I wouldn't receive a refund. He grew rude and condescending during the interaction, which was upsetting. After I left the register I said, while still in the store, "Thanks for not trusting me." He laughed. I regret that I used a bad word once I was outside. What followed was alarming: he came running out of the store and tried to grab the exchanged can out of my hands. He threatened to call the police and -- while I was recording from about nine feet away -- said into the phone, "she's right next to my face." At one point he would not state what he thought my ethnicity was, which felt explicitly hostile and discriminatory. I have video of the incident and plan to preserve it and report what happened. I'm sharing this to warn others about the poor, confrontational customer service and the intimidating behavior I experienced. I will not recommend this business based on how I was treated today.

She is a knife snob and the most condescending salesperson I've met. When asked questions directly, she responds with enthusiast jargon to make herself feel superior. The collection is okay, they have some really good stuff and some alright products. I'd rather walk a few paces and spend my money at Williams Sonoma. I am confident that this business loses a lot of money because of her poor attitude.

I happened to have my $300 mid-tech folder on me and it was a bit dull so I asked if they sharpened knives. I was told that they had a guy who was in the "military" and was really good so I left my knife with them. I wish I had looked at the reviews here before doing that because my knife came back less sharp than when I left it with them. Problems with the sharpening: 1) I can feel the burrs on the blade edge - Either he didn't use a fine stone to complete the sharpening or he forgot to finish the knife. 2) I don't think he sharpened the entire knife, part of the edge that's near the handle of the knife has no burrs and does not feel any sharper than it was when I left it. 3) Blade edge at the tip of the knife is now uneven. I could of done a better job myself with the The Wicked Edge sharpening system. If you have a $100 set of cooking knives you got from Macys's and its been several years since you've had them sharpened this guy may be able to do a decent job but he clearly isn't capable of sharpening anything more challenging than a cheap piece of metal.
