Without this guidance from Lisa, we would have been quite overwhelmed. Plus, we would have wasted LOTS of time. Within 45 minutes, we had chosen our fixtures, picked out a sink and found a perfect replacement for our kitchen faucet. The final item hadn't even been part of our initial objective, but the shopping experience was so well guided that it seemed like the perfect time to check that long ignored task off. Ours was a relatively small order but Lisa treated it as though it was the most important part of her day. She followed up with email links to the products we had ordered and escorted us next door to find a countertop. The kitchen was small with a low ceiling and we wanted to use every bit of space for cabinets while also getting in a dishswasher, double wall oven, refrigerator w/draw freezer - and an island where we could work. Big box stores' solutions left unused space between cabinets - no "customizing" standard cabinets. However, Creative had a Canadian supplier who offered standard cabinets easily constructed on site at different widths, depths and beautiful drawers, including large ones in the island where I store large bowls that I use a lot in cooking. There is little sign of wear on the cabinets. We wanted white but not wood that would shrink away from the frame. Our cabinets are made of strong compressed material, shaped to look like framed cabinets and dipped in white coating. Our contractor worked well with Creative. John even came over months later when one of the pantry drawers wouldn't roll out properly. That's been the only problem we've encountered and it was a quick fix. We can't say enough about how helpful, concerned and knowledgeable John was. We had our wish list and Creative made it all happen in a relatively small space. And it's all still looking good and working well in 2024.

While the cabinets and counter top themselves (once the right size) were great they left a bad…read moretaste. The measurer did not measure correctly, the designer sold us a design that would hold a larger fridge an when the installer came he looked and in less than a minute told us of the issues. It was only his knowledge that allowed us to get a shorter cabinet to make it work. Multiple cabinet doors in wrong, measured the counter top wrong - did not believe the installer and we had to wait for the countertop. Their joke of a fix was a 60 inch loaner. That is 30 inches of a sink (one that was awful and had broken parts and lots of dings and scratches) and 15 inches on each side. I asked the to come prep a meal with that. They were supposed to bring in plywood for a temporary extra surface but they forgot. They forgot to have the plumber here first thing in the morning and the poor installer (who was the only bright spot) had to wait. Had a shit wait for the new counter as they claimed it was custom (we only ordered what was in stock in Hartford for no delays) and they thought waiting weeks was acceptable. never offered a work around until I suggested another counter top and they then mentioned the different edge. Imagine they forgot to mention it. Came the second time and it was again wrong. Tony had to make it fit (you would never know looking at it) but once again they DO NOT LISTEN to their installer/carpenter who really is in the thick of each job. The project manager never checks on the site - the customer service rep (who claimed she was the project manager) is basically only a scheduler - nothing else - she was of o help, When it was complete - thanks only to the installer/carpenter - Tony - the plumber comes, 2 of them, but one only sits on their phone - which is a waste - they do not take the loaner crap sink (did not realize before they left) and they also left a mess, Tony was meticulous (he is a subcontractor) but the plumber left a huge mess under the sink. We had to wait for the sink to be picked up (took quite a few days). We are still waiting on our refund on the wrong cabinet and that is a joke. They are really messed up and need to learn about customer service, hiring qualified measurers and designers who don't sell a wrong design based off the wrong measurements. They need to teach their staff to listen to those subs who are in the field doing the work and dealing with the crap they get. They also missed items and he had to wait for them to come in. Poor guy lost a lot of time with all the delays. If you decide to go with them, change the contract and withhold money until completion. Keep good records and don't let up - they hope you will just drop it - but they have not heard the last of me and Consumer Protection this week if I dont get my refund which has been promised to e - them told soon, then said it is in the mail and then told it is in process. They lie. Measure yourself or hire someone who can measure. Buy the cabinets from them and get them off the job. Thank goodness the kitchen looks good - THANKS TONY. To those at Express Kitchen, follow up with what you say - learn to listen and follow through - and stop lying - it is caught in emails. Checking your hiring and training process may benefit you more than you imagine.
