The nursery was well laid out, had a TON of variety , and copious amounts of health plants. I ended up getting a desert rose and my mom got a few plants for her home. They even had a sale table where items were 50% off, they mostly appeared healthy. There were many planter options as well as pre-potted planters for sale. They had these massive planters with beautiful flowers/items in them and they were marked for sale. It was not something i had seen before but I enjoyed seeing a pre-made planter. The prices were much better than what I am used to at both Home Depot and Lowes. Will be back!

It doesn't look like much from the road but once you drive in, it's a full blown nursery. I'm not what you would call a major landscaper but this business has met all our needs. Last year we bought a bunch of landscaping shrubs and the guy who rung us up gave me 2 pepper plants - jalapeño and datil - little guys in styrofoam coffee cups. I decided to try growing them and my jalapeño is producing about 30 peppers a month. The datils are ready but I think the plant is a little more finicky. Either way, it's been a success. Competitive prices across the board even compared to the big box stores a couple of miles west. Durbin is my go to for any nursery needs.

If you need additional parking, there is additional parking around the back of the building. They had tons of plants, but I was there to look for pots. Many of their pots (like most places) were what I'd consider high, but it's the going rate. I did speak to an employee and he stated they had some 40% off pots on the side of the building. They didn't really have any that were matching in my price range. They have a nice variety of plants and knowledgeable employees.

We reviewed the various areas that needed attention and then they went right to work. The men did an outstanding job of laying sod over a good portion of my backyard and just didn't lay it down but carefully prepared the ground first. Vapsi, the lead foreman was busy laying a paver stoop outside my rear screen door. This fellow is a true artist and the final product was beautiful. They also brought in a dump truck full of stone to put under my hedge running the length of my house. Again, they just didn't just throw the stone in but first trimmed the hedge and removed all the clippings. Then they carefully mounded the stones around each plant with the final result being a work of art. Thank you George, Beca and Vapsi for another first class job!

After my very first delivery on Mothers Day from Southern Grace being flowers that died the very…read morenext day I would not have used them again. However, Ace Hardwares amazing Florist has closed its doors and my husband decided to try Southern Grace again due to their proximity to our house. While Ace hardware had FREE delivery within so many miles, Southern Grace is much closer to us and there was a $15 delivery fee. I do hope they will consider adjusting delivery fees based on location of delivery. The flowers my husband had sent to me were absolutely beautiful. We have to be very careful due to us having cats and he made sure to mention no lilies. The flowers were beautiful the day they were delivered as well as 4 days later they still look fabulous. I am not sure what he paid for them to determine value, but I do know that the $15 delivery fee was a bit excessive for a 2.5 mile delivery. I do hope they learn from the bad reviews and throw out or donate flowers that are borderline, rather than put them in bouquets people pay top dollar for.
