Such a cute garden center! It's absolutely beautiful and the selection is amazing. I didn't buy anything, but It was nice just to stroll through.

Gah this place is noice! My babe decided we'd ride up to Earth Works ONLY to look to see what kinda of plants they have so that we could get an idea as to how we could add some color to our lawn. A gentlemen greeted us as we walked through the store and out the side to the plant area, only for us to be then greeted by a cat. I'm not sure if this was the nursery's cat or not but it was certainly friendly and rolled over every time I went to pet it. We were joking about them having koi fish but they actually have them for sale along with goldfish! That's pretty cool. He also spoke to a staff member to get some ideas for flowers to plant, when to plant them and what will be attracted to them. The pollenating flowers which were beautiful had a lot of bees around them and while I'm not allergic, I didn't want to bring that amount into my neighborhood. My nose went straight for the lavender as they smelled gorgeous. Definitely have to return to get some of these for an herb garden. I walked out of there with two purchases: a white bleeding heart which appeared to have been their last one and a white Agapanthus Shona Dwarf, also the last one. One for the front yard and one for the backyard. The same gentleman in the store cashed me out and gave me some tips on how to maintain them which was very helpful. I think I found my plant store.

Kind folks, absolutely beautiful place and recently put more shade in. A must go to while in JAX some of their products have saved my plants and made them thrive.

This was my favorite place to go as a kid, we would come and I would feed the fish. Walk around and sometimes bring lunch. The people who work here are amazingly kind. They had one of their annual, free food and drinks events. It was pretty great, and now it's right across from our house so we hop in just to walk around some pretty plants

This place is beautiful!

This is a beautiful, beautiful plant nursery off Beach, easy to find, easy to park. Walking in it's so pretty, they have created a oasis of lush greens and water features, what stood out to me was the owners/ employees seemed to care about the plants and were very knowledgeable about them, compared to the big box stores where I've seen plants drowning/ dying and employees could care less. Great place to come beautify your living quarters! They also sell fish and custom build water features!

Drove by for years but finally was invited to a event and got to stop in. The instructor was funny and gave out lots of gardening wisdom while we had finger foods and adult beverages. My kinda event! The place is nice and so peaceful. I had to return again just to see everything and use the wisdom received earlier in the week for my garden. Grabbed some liquid fertilizer and a few perennials and toured the rest of the place that I hadn't seen yet. Lots of ideas I left with and the attendants were so friendly and eager to answer all of our many questions. Open weekends so stop on in.. See ya at another event soon....

Here you see 2 bottlebrush trees recommended by, and subsequently purchased from Earthworks, 6-19-25 and going into the ground next day.

Stopped in here to garner their advice on how to add some privacy to a spa area of my yard. I took the advice of Matthew, who seemed to know what he was talking about, and I bought two bottle brush trees, approximately 3 to 3 1/2 feet tall.. Matthew was insistent to me that they could survive the mild winters in North Florida, but said they will grow beautifully without a lot of upkeep after they are established, etc., etc. in other words, one day after purchase, so far so good. He sold me a bag of compost and two bottlebrush trees. But what I'm gonna do, because I've had issues with nurseries selling anything they can just to sell it, I will be reporting back quarterly at least on the progress of these trees over the next year. It's only after that year when we know whether or not Earthworks, is in it to sell anything they can, or whether they're in it to help people solve issues and problems concerning their properties.

The wife and I love coming here to plant shop, they have the nicest selection in Jacksonville. It is always fun just to come here and walk around and look at all the neat plants and fish and everything else they have. The pathos the wife got the other day is growing real well :)

Our cat, Lula, approves of the purchases as well.

Been here twice now with my wife to purchase plants for our home gardening projects. Have visited a few different places and really like the vibe here. Many staff walking around to help find what you are looking for, lots of variety of plants, trees for indoor, outdoor, greenhouses, ponds or for eating (herbs, fruits, vegetables). They even have tanks of koi fish is that is what you trying to add for your home design. The other nice perk is the free hot dogs/hamburgers, beer & wine from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. every Saturday during the Spring months only. Plenty of parking, easy to find and a nice way to take a break from the week, even if you aren't looking to buy anything. Highly recommend seeing this spot for yourself

What an adorable place! From palm to Banana Trees to Koi ponds and fire pits, they've got you covered! Plenty of parking and masks required. We strolled around here amazed at all the gorgeous plants, flowers , pots and grounds. They also have many outside decorations for any tastes. Beautiful craftsmanship adorn the inside. I felt like I was at an art museum:) Fountains and koi of multiple sizes are available for sale. It was relaxing to walk around and see the bees and butterflies. It's a bit pricey but I will definitely come back here again soon. They literally have everything I need for my flower gardens.

When we first bought our house we visited Earthworks to buy the soil and other supplies we needed for our flower beds. Earthworks delivered the supplies. The delivery person was very friendly, polite, and professional, even cleaning up where he spoiled a bit of soil on our sidewalk. When we decided that we needed French Drains in our house to help with standing water issues in the back yard, Earthworks was 1 of the 3 companies we invited provide a solution. I will tell you that Earthworks was not the least expensive. Quite simply, their solution was the best. Doug came out to walk our property and had the solution back to us very quickly. The crew that did the installation was, again, friendly, polite, and professional. When done, not only could you barely see where the work had been done, the back yard in general was left in better shape than when they started work. If you are afraid of the cost of French Drains and you have standing water issues, bite the bullet, call Doug at Earthworks, and write the check. This has been a great investment. Two months ago we purchased 2 trees from Earthworks and had them deliver and install the trees. As is normal, the crew was, can you guess, friendly, polite, and professional. They left the everywhere they went cleaner than it was before they showed up. Next is Earthwork's redoing the mess that is our patio. Will update at that time.

Great local plant and garden center with wonderful plants for all our outdoor decor needs. I love the koi pond. There's also a friendly little cat that calls the store home.

Nice setting

This company & crew are amazing! I needed sod replaced and hired this company based a…read morerecommendation. I was not disappointed. Hickory Creek nursery showed up as scheduled. They are a no nonsense company and obviously know what they are doing. Quality of sod is so much better than what the local hardware stores carry. For sod, I highly recommend Hickory Creek nursery located at 12615 Ivylena Rd Jax FL.

Support local small businesses! Many years ago I learned about how those who grow the plants that…read moreend up at the big home improvements stores and big box stores get paid- or don't get paid. Any plants that die on site, even if the store doesn't water properly or puts them in the wrong sun/not sun spot, any returns of dead plants equates to the grower not getting paid. This rubbed me the wrong way, when I heard it. I am going to be honest- I still end up buying plants from said stores, but I do pop into various nurseries and try to support their small business. Since I broke out of apartment jail- I have plans for the house! For the yard- don't ask me what those plans are.... it's a vague concept right now. But as the young lady asked me what I wanted- ha! I want jasmine- shows me various jasmine plants! Yippee. I am thinking of maybe putting a tree in the front yard- those are in the back. Ok- I'll walk back there, or hop in the convenient golf cart with my plant guide! Zoom~ we are rolling up and down aisles of trees! John was thinking live oak which I love, but then I saw they had weeping willows! WHAT!??!!! And a weeping bottle brush! I need to do research and ask the hoa before diving into a tree purchase! I was looking over azaleas, hibiscus, sod (I need some for my front yard) and various other plants! They even had blueberries! hmmmm. Generally speaking- my thumb is green. I ended up with Jasmine and Honeysuckle and had to lay both down in my car- because they both had trellis attached and were pretty big. John caught me when I got home! In my work dress, with 2 massive plants, one on each hip. I did change into jeans before digging into the earth! I can't wait to go back for more! March should bring more varieties of flowering plants- good tip to know! And peak season will bring Sunday hours (currently closed on Sundays)- aka, March- April! This place is HUGE and they are right there to greet you and assist with anything you want to look at!
