They have some incentive for you to make sure you're brackets don't brake and you keep you teeth clean. And many other opportunities to earn beach bucks which can be redeemed for prizes. Their appt reminder slips are coupons for tacos across the street. They have toys for other children to play with while waiting. The staff is all so kind and welcoming. My kiddo is always excited for her appt. The office theme is very tropical and fun. They announce patients birthdays and celebrate when you get your braces off. I will be recommending them to anyone who says they need braces in the future.

I want to echo the previous reviewer, I myself had braces at garn and mason in the early 2000's and…read morewe are on our second child in treatment at garn and mason now. Something has shifted in the past year, and it's ugly. The staff are rude, and constantly blame my daughter for any little problem that arises. Right before Dr. Mason retired, he admitted to me that all my daughter's broken brackets up to that point were from a new inexperienced tech placing her braces. He himself took the time to re-do nearly all her upper brackets and we have had nearly no issues since then. I am disgusted by how my daughter is treated there, and wish we could finish her braces elsewhere. We absolutely will not be returning for my last two children's braces here.

With the next two children, things started to go awry. Brackets pop off extremely easily, were told that the glue is not made the same as it used to be, however my boys are made to feel very small and "a problem" when their brackets break, not to mention, getting into the office to get them fixed is ALWAYS a problem. There have been many times the wires have been broken and are stabbing their gums. Dr. Garn has always been professional and kind to all of my kids, but Dr. Rush speaks down to all of us as if we are bothering him, are a nuisance, and is down right degrading in his condescending rhetoric. We had already questioned if we would continue to use Dr. Garn with our final (two) children after all the difficulties we had with the middle kids; after how Dr. Rush has been treating us, we will never return to this office for our other children and will never recommend our friends or family either.

Every staff member treated my 7yr old daughter very well and made her first visit to an orthodontics unforgettable. Ann was amazing! She ensured that we understood everything that she showed us, walked us through the treatment and other programs and was just such a pleasant person to talk with. They have a really awesome token reward process for their patients. You can earn tokens each visit by doing things as simple as wearing their t-shirt to each visit, brushing your teeth well, plus much more. You can earn great prizes if you have a specific amount of tokens! They truly care about their patients and are very understanding when it comes to payment for their services (ex. very reasonable payment plans). Meeting with the staff and orthodontist, I felt comfortable that she would be in the best care. We got an appointment right away and off on her journey she was. After a few weeks I already seen a different in teeth. Orthodontist did not think she'd have to wear it for even a year. At this point it's been 9mo and her teeth are straight, just working on her bite. Hopefully at her upcoming appointment we'll hear that no more trays are necessary and we'll be done soon. I should've mentioned that we went with the Angel Aligners (Invisalign) rather than metal braces because my daughter plays sports. I've seen wayyy too many injuries to the mouth and was told that the aligners acted as a mouth piece which made my decision easier. I felt at ease spending more money for the safety of my daughter.
