Something has shifted in the past year, and it's ugly. The staff are rude, and constantly blame my daughter for any little problem that arises. Right before Dr. Mason retired, he admitted to me that all my daughter's broken brackets up to that point were from a new inexperienced tech placing her braces. He himself took the time to re-do nearly all her upper brackets and we have had nearly no issues since then. I am disgusted by how my daughter is treated there, and wish we could finish her braces elsewhere. We absolutely will not be returning for my last two children's braces here.

With the next two children, things started to go awry. Brackets pop off extremely easily, were told that the glue is not made the same as it used to be, however my boys are made to feel very small and "a problem" when their brackets break, not to mention, getting into the office to get them fixed is ALWAYS a problem. There have been many times the wires have been broken and are stabbing their gums. Dr. Garn has always been professional and kind to all of my kids, but Dr. Rush speaks down to all of us as if we are bothering him, are a nuisance, and is down right degrading in his condescending rhetoric. We had already questioned if we would continue to use Dr. Garn with our final (two) children after all the difficulties we had with the middle kids; after how Dr. Rush has been treating us, we will never return to this office for our other children and will never recommend our friends or family either.

Insurance In-Network Patients BEWARE!…read more Dr. Wing was contracted with our insurance as IN-NETWORK. After running our insurance, Dr. Wing quoted us an in-network co-pay that was higher than expected. This caused us to call our insurance to find out why our share was so high. The insurance then informed us that Dr. Wing was currently under in-network contract with them and the co-pay he quoted us was MORE THAN DOUBLE the contracted co-pay. When we confronted Wing Orthodontics with the fact that they were in breach of contract (not to mention deceitful) by overcharging us by more than double, Wing still insisted that we had to pay more than double his contracted co-pay or find another dentist. So to summarize, we were led to believe that our co-pay was more than double what it actually was. If we hadn't taken the time to investigate with the insurance, we would have overpaid by more than double. It makes one wonder just how many other in-network patients this may have happened to.

I've been wearing braces since April 2018 (6-months to date) and the journey has been quite pleasant. Yesterday I approached Dr. Young with an issue: my braces were installed on a plan to have double jaw surgery in 8-months and I have had a change of mind. I wanted to know what my options were. I didn't know how my change of mind would be received or if Dr. Young would have even understood my reasons why. To my surprise not only did Dr. Young understand me completely, but she walked me through an alternative process to achieve the same desired effect - a great smile. I'm in! I slept like a baby last night feeling less stressed and more impressed with the customer service and care at my Orthodontics Office. They listen and it feels like love.

Dr. Aubrey Young is knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her. Well other offices may be "cheaper" you'll get what you pay for and will not receive a comprehensive treatment plan.

We arrived for my kid's scheduled (1st time in AZ) early morning appointment only to be told we can't go in before filling out their 14 page long form on their really slow tablet even though I offered to fill it out in parallel while my son is getting his exam done. My son had school right after his dental appointment so we were really trying to get his dental exam done before his school. The staff claimed they had called and texted me beforehand to fill that long form out, but I never received any calls, voicemails, or text messages. When I had called to book I had mentioned that please let me know if you guys need anything else since I dont like any delays or surprises on the day of the appointment since my son has school right after the dental appointment and I was assured "they have everything" by the person booking the appointment. What was most frustrating was the lack of any apology or empathy. Instead of trying to help or acknowledging the inconvenience, the staff were rude, lazy, and dismissive. It was especially disappointing that something as basic as insurance information provided earlier while booking the appointment in advance was asked to be filled again.
