I am a Phoenix patient for AnyTime Dental and sought last-minute care before my deductible reset. I…read morewas referred to the San Tan location for a root canal, and my initial appointment was excellent--the staff were helpful and reassuring. At that visit, I was informed I would need to return in about a week for a crown. Although the location is approximately an hour and a half from my home, I verbally agreed, especially after being told that additional treatment (a filling and another concern) could also be addressed during that follow-up visit. Prior to my second appointment, I called the office and was told that in order to receive the additional treatment, I would need to arrive earlier. I agreed and adjusted my appointment time accordingly. The day before my appointment, I received another call stating that if I wanted extra treatment, I would need to come in even earlier. At that point, I explained that I could not move the appointment again, as it would require leaving my home extremely early. Shortly after, I received a text message stating that they had "figured it out" and that I could keep my scheduled time and still receive the additional treatment. Based on this confirmation, I attended my appointment as planned. The procedure was completed, and no one communicated any issues or changes throughout the visit. Only at the very end of the appointment was I informed--without prior notice--that they could not treat me for any additional concerns and that all future care would need to be transferred back to the Phoenix location. No explanation, advance communication, or attempt to clarify this beforehand was provided. I am extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and professionalism surrounding this visit. I went out of my way to adjust my schedule, travel a significant distance, and comply with every request made by the office--only to be told after the fact that the agreed-upon care would not be provided. As a healthcare worker myself, I understand how busy and demanding clinical environments can be; however, clear and timely communication with patients is a basic expectation, and there is no excuse for this level of disorganization. This experience was disappointing and avoidable, and it has significantly impacted my trust in this clinic.

Looked up a few orthodontist in my area and planned to visit a couple before making the decision…read more Well after coming to R&P for my daughter's orthopedic journey, we ended up scheduling right away. Meeting with the staff and orthodontist, I felt comfortable that she would be in the best care. We got an appointment right away and off on her journey she was. After a few weeks I already seen a different in teeth. Orthodontist did not think she'd have to wear it for even a year. At this point it's been 9mo and her teeth are straight, just working on her bite. Hopefully at her upcoming appointment we'll hear that no more trays are necessary and we'll be done soon. I should've mentioned that we went with the Angel Aligners (Invisalign) rather than metal braces because my daughter plays sports. I've seen wayyy too many injuries to the mouth and was told that the aligners acted as a mouth piece which made my decision easier. I felt at ease spending more money for the safety of my daughter.

Something has shifted in the past year, and it's ugly. The staff are rude, and constantly blame my daughter for any little problem that arises. Right before Dr. Mason retired, he admitted to me that all my daughter's broken brackets up to that point were from a new inexperienced tech placing her braces. He himself took the time to re-do nearly all her upper brackets and we have had nearly no issues since then. I am disgusted by how my daughter is treated there, and wish we could finish her braces elsewhere. We absolutely will not be returning for my last two children's braces here.

With the next two children, things started to go awry. Brackets pop off extremely easily, were told that the glue is not made the same as it used to be, however my boys are made to feel very small and "a problem" when their brackets break, not to mention, getting into the office to get them fixed is ALWAYS a problem. There have been many times the wires have been broken and are stabbing their gums. Dr. Garn has always been professional and kind to all of my kids, but Dr. Rush speaks down to all of us as if we are bothering him, are a nuisance, and is down right degrading in his condescending rhetoric. We had already questioned if we would continue to use Dr. Garn with our final (two) children after all the difficulties we had with the middle kids; after how Dr. Rush has been treating us, we will never return to this office for our other children and will never recommend our friends or family either.
