I just named a few items- but again, Woodstock Hardware will seriously help you if you're in a jam. As for prices, well.....we paid for convenience. Not complaining. The young gentleman who helped tremendously the day we visited was very pleasant and offered excellent advice when we needed it. They were able to help me with polyethylene tubing that big box stores weren't able to - they cut me off a piece of tubing so I didn't have to buy 100' when I needed 10'. Friendly service, they took their time. At checkout there were a couple of old head customers to chat with who were also friendly. Reasonable prices. For being as small as the location is they have a LOT of selection.

Yet, despite the rain that day, I came in and it seemed like they were ready to sell me their fly swatters. Although it seemed like lots of people were looking for fly-swatters at that particular time (because they were so close to the register), when I went in asking where the fly swatters were (because I couldn't see them from the door), when I asked, it seemed like the employee knew just where to find them and within a few seconds had touched down to pick out one of them. Although a little back and forth over price and a small selection of colors (between red and orange heads), I came to an agreement that red would match what I originally had years ago, though I really wanted another color I had had previous to that purchase but wasn't in the right mindset or location to purchase them from. Within a few seconds, I picked one out and handed it to the employee. I had only my CashApp card on me, as well as my Apple Watch (for Apple Pay), and when I saw the touchless/contactless terminal, I was astounded to find these in this location - in a smaller town. I knew the Williams Lumber headquarters had had Apple Pay terminals for years, but I wasn't expecting Apple Pay here, and after a few moments, out I was - receipt in hand ready to walk back home - a tiny bit more than 1 mile. There was no mention on the door of what payment choices this place had, and I hadn't checked the Yelp page before I left home to see what they offered. A little more research and I might have had some idea of what was offered here, because in the past, it's always been a little troublesome knowing just what to expect even though I'd written other reviews knowledgeable and with other experiences, because a little rain and an umbrella can't keep me away when I need a thing or two in a pinch and only have two feet to get me where I need to go when car-travels weren't an option.

I already know my dad likes this spot for lumber, and he's an Ace Hardware rewards guy (he's anti-Home Depot, and happy to tell you all about why), and they had the grill I was looking at in stock. Everything fell into place. I gave them a call, and Bryce helped me out. He confirmed they had the grill, and because it's not really a gift to give someone something heavy to pick up or complicated to assemble, we arranged to have the grill put together and delivered in just a couple days. They took care of everything without a hitch, including a nice grill cover and brush to keep this one in much better shape than the last. They also have hardware, and do a good job selling it.

They're the best thing about this place. The space itself is pretty large, and they do a great job of packing in everything from paint, to power tools, and seemingly everything in between. Not much in the way of housewares unlike some hardware stores but that's a non-factor to me. Technically affiliated with Ace Hardware which helps for their rewards program. Parking is also not bad in the Saugerties area which is helpful too (since they are on Main St). I come here whenever I need a serious hardware store for a project, and they've never let me down.

There's SO much to browse through - chairs, dishes, tools, hardware, beds, dressers, really, everything. The prices are very reasonable, it's organized well, it's clean, and the people who work there are so incredibly nice and helpful. We bought some furniture and they not only delivered it to our house but went the extra length - it turns out a table we bought wouldn't fit through our dining room door so they took the table apart, brought it in, and reassembled it. We moved to our new house about two months ago and we are still waiting for 35% of our cabinet hardware (pulls and knobs); if your cabinets are white and you have three hungry teenagers, like we do, that is kind of a problem. (I look like a maniac running after them with my sponge). The granite installation was sloppy at best, it was cut awkwardly at places, and the silicone they placed between the granite slabs looked like wide spats of shiny glue. So classy! The silicone was removed by our builder and there is wide gap between the edge of the granite and the division between the cabinets and the refrigerator. A really nice and desirable look. This company also did my bathroom sinks and ordered the wrong size for one of of them, so they placed a temporary sink. It has been OVER TWO MONTHS since the house was finished and I still do not have a permanent sink in the master bathroom. The spice cabinets in the kitchen island make a noise when they are closed and small strange parts pop out of those cabinets once in a while, I just save them and in my spare time try to figure out where they go. What a difference with the company from which we bought and installed the marble on my island, just down the road from these guys! (Very professionals, impeccable installation, great service). Again, stay away from this place!
